Comfortable bed, good sizes room and good hot shower. The rooms were refreshed every day which was unexpected to the very reasonable price we paid Bonus was the small fridge in room and facility to heat meals in microwave in lounge. Crockery and cutlery provided if you wanted to bring your own food in to eat. It is a fabulous location with Boscaombe pier and beach a short walk down the hill. The hotel owner was very welcoming and very informative about where to eat and shop locally.

There was nothing I did not like, but the hallways/stairways were a little tired in decor. It was also a very hot weather so the bedrooms were very hot despite fans being provided. This is not the hotels fault, they can't control the weather!

The host was very friendly and helpful with directions and suggestions related to local activities. The hotel was walking distance to the beach and downtown. I found the hotel to be a good value.

The condition of the Boscombe High Street was pretty rough. I thought it was worse repair than Downtown Bournemouth. While there are some nice cafes and retail shops, the majority of the businesses were fairly low-end and it generally looks poorly maintained. For tourists who want to escape the blight, I would probably recommend staying by Southborne Grove High Street or Southbanks. Downtown Bournemouth and Boscombe both have a ton of potential but both their commercial districts are in serious need of investment if they want to attract tourists. I should note that the area around the Boscombe Pier was very nice. So if your only goal is to go towards the beach, you'll be more than content in this area.

There was so much to like about this wonderful hotel. We were running late but they could not have been more helpful and reassuring. Pam greeted us and made us feel at home straight away. The room was spotless and a sea view was a bonus! Dog friendly isn’t saying enough - they were so dog welcoming and our little dog loved her toy gift! Pam was so informative about where to go and where was dog friendly. We cannot thank the Denewood Hotel enough and we will definitely be going back!

Super old school building and furnishing which has a lot of charm. Comfortable big rooms even in a "small" double. Staff were so kind and helpful, location is super close to the beach, we live locally but needed a night from renovations, slept really well. Dog friendly and very accomadating. Its rare to find a place dogs arent charged for and youd never know dogs had even been in there! Clean and warm. Would 1000% stay again. Also love the fact theres a communal microwave, toaster and you have fridges in your room. You never get that anymore and its a great addition.

Brilliant if you are bringing your pet dog. Perfect for dog lovers, 4 minute walk from beach and pub. Near New Forest and Jurassic Coast. Near rapid charger at beach car park if you have an EV, otherwise they have a free car park. Nice Victorian building, will go back and have already recommended it to friends with dogs. They even left a gift addressed to my dog! They provided dog bowls, blankets, doggie bags and snacks. It's also a 5 minute walk from the high street and all the restaurants there.

Spacious room which was clean and had en-suite, shower cubicle was a good size, the water pressure was good and the water was hot. Free on site parking. Good host, helpful and knowledgeable with regard to the local area.

There was nothing I didn't like. If you want shiny and new then this probably isn't the place for you, could do with little refresh in places. If you want the town centre outside your door, then you're out of luck. That said there's a really nice promenade 100yds away that takes you along the seafront to the town.

Me and my dog travel A LOT and I think this is the most welcome we've ever felt in a place. The staff were all absolutely wonderful but Pam is just adorable and went above and beyond for us. We were provided with bowls, splash mat, treats, poopy bags, a dog blanket so he could sleep on the bed with me, and we were given loads of dog friendly recommendations for walks, bars and places to eat. Location is perfect, literally a 3 minute walk to the beach, and 5 minutes the other direction into the town centre. Great if you're not driving. Room was clean, spacious and had everything you'd expect in a hotel room. On top of everything, it was an absolute steal price wise. Cannot recommend this place enough and hope to return next time I'm in the south. Thank you Pam and gang for everything! 🐶❤️

I didn't mind that the hotel was a bit outdated as it was value for money, considering the location and comfort.

Such good value for the price! Old-school decor, very clean and comfortable hotel run by really nice people, extremely warm welcome, super-comfy and ENORMOUS bed - perfectly located for the beach and the 02 Academy, literally 5 mins from each, and very quiet at night. Also v speedy WIFI for the work I had to do in my room. Wouldn't hesitate to return, or recommend :)

No hairdryer in the room, though in the end I didn't need one so no problem!

Pam and Alan are exceptional. They make you feel like home, they are very helpful, friendly, welcoming, wonderful! Thank you! We had a very good stay with Denewood hotel; very clean, all amenities we needed, including a fridge, an extra king comfortable bed, big room, quiet, great location. We would be back when in the area. And yes, 100% we recommend Denewood hotel.
