The location and hotel room are awesome. Tram nearby so with no time in the city centre or the old part of town. Very clean and friendly people working there!

The airco wasnt working (well). Also no plugs to charge near your bed and you can not control the lighting from bed. Also keep in mind that the breakfast is a little dressed down when your not visiting during peak season. However still good and lots to choose from.

It was absolutely wonderful experience to in Carlton. Prague is a medieval city, full of old-fashioned and romantic stuff. So Carlton is a perfect place to stay if you want to get a deep dive into Prague's atmosphere. Everyday cleaning, amazing king-size bed, a lot of space, bathroom made of marble. Miraculous breakfasts different day by day. Near tramway station from where it's easy to get to ane historical place of the city. Staff is extremely helpful and polite.

I didn't find slippers, what would be perfect to have, but this is the only small minus.

Apart from the initial young girl on reception who wasn't very friendly, and actually quite miserable, as well as the lad at breakfast who never smiled, (he had good manners though) the staff were great; warm and helpful. One of the breakfast girls the first three mornings was stunningly beautiful, with a personality to match! The lady on reception most days was also very nice, warm and helpful.The room was lovely. I was very pleased with the standard of the hotel as a whole.

The breakfast buffet didn't offer very much for Vegans at all. One morning there were beans, which was good, but these alternated with some grey vegetable stodge, which I had no idea what it was. You had to ask for a little jug of oat milk, and the bread probably wasn't suitable, so I took my own.

This is an excellent hotel, very well run. Rather traditional, with quality furniture and linen and large generous curtains of lovely material. Immaculately clean. I had a room on the third floor at the back and it was very quiet. The hotel is conveniently situated 3 minutes walk from the tram stop for city centre and Old Town. The breakfast is extremely good. There is a different selection of perfectly cooked food and pastries every day. Also lots of fruit and cereals etc. Highly recommended

I had a real problem with the room air conditioning. During the three days that I stayed, although in late August, the temperature was only around 12C in the mornings. I found the room very cold all the time, and although I asked Reception twice for guidance, I couldn't switch off the air conditioning. Every time I tried to switch it off, it came back on again. I was told that it was set from an exterior sensor at 3 degrees below the exterior temperature, which seemed to me a strange system.

Very good hotel, near to tram station and only 2 stops away from the central station. Breakfast was amazing. Right in front of the Albert Market where one can buy daily household things groceries etc. Lidl is also near by, only at 5 -7 minutes walking distance. Tram service is awesome, no problem of transport at all. Tram stop is very near to the hotel. We loved to stay at Hotel Carlton and will definite recommend to others to stay at that hotel.

Only few tv channels. You can not have more even on request or by paying more. No smart tv set so you can not watch anything on YouTube. If you can not live without watching TV or your favorite series so better to take your Netflix or other subscription with you on your mobile phone. WiFi signals are awesome so one can enjoy the Netflix on ones mobile phone.

The best point of this hotel is location, since several trams that are dispersed further into the city are passing literally in front of it, something that guarantees accessibility to the whole city. Since Prague has such an eficient integrated transport system, location is indeed a plus, granting accessibility to almost any destination. For those who like to move to the active vibrant life, but don't want to be immersed on it and want to sleep, the Carlton is located in a tranquil neighborhood close to nice restaurants upper hill. I loved as well the solid wood in furniture, the space for clothes and the finished details on the bathroom, plus the bathtub was great!.

For a few days the breakfast is perfect. If you are staying longer, after the third day, the breakfast can be monotonous. The matrix on the bed was a bit soft for my preference, but the bed was perfectly Big!

This hotel is out of the main town centre so it was nice and quiet and away from all the drinkers and noise in the town. That said, travel into town from the Lipanska tram stop (100m from the hotel) was only a few stops (10mins) and cost £1 and they are very regular and on time. The staff were very polite and helpful, breakfast was good and was the standard continental style breakfast. The bed was comfortable.

The only reason I gave it a 9 was the hotel is old and the tiles on my bathroom floor were slightly cracked and the room a bit dated but it was comfortable. I had a room at the back of the hotel so didn’t have much of a view but I wasn’t in it much. Tip - The plug sockets are old and don’t have the USB sockets to charge your phone or I pad so remember a 2 pin charger.

The hotel was beatiful with a massive room, very spatious, even with a coffee machine, which they were gratious enough to give us some capsules. Still, there is a complementary coffee at the entrance. The staff was very helpful and respectful, and the breakfast had a great variety of foods, which were very tasty. Concerning location, it was a bit far from the town center, but if you like walking, it's still a nice walk, and public transportation is still available nearby.

This is a personal preference, but I would like a shower in the bathroom instead of a normal bathtub. This was missing, in my opinion.

The location was amazing, just a little bit outside of the heavy tourist areas and a 2 minute walk to a tram stop. The front desk agents were all very friendly and made the check-in process smooth. The breakfast was also really good! My favorite being the scrambled eggs and the fresh fruit. The rooms were very clean and comfortable as well, amazing value for the price.

The walls are a little thin, so you may hear other guests conversations, but this wasn't a major problem for me. And don't forget to bring a washcloth or loofah as one wasn't provided.

Even though the hotel is a little older, it still has a lot of charm. The room was comfortable, spacious and warm (in the middle of winter) and the bathroom was of a decent size and clean. The breakfast options were excellent, with a bevy of savoury and sweet options to choose from in the lovely cellar setting. Very comfortable lounge area to relax in, and the English-speaking staff were pleasant to deal with. The Hotel is between 2 tram stops, and it's only a few stops to get into the Old Town. A good value stay in one of Europe's most beautiful cities.

A small amount of noise from the room next door could be heard in the bathroom, but it didn't affect our sleep.
