Exceptional service from front desk staff - Anastasia very helpful, professional and pleasant.

I loved my room so clean, and I enjoyed my soak in the tub. The veiws were amazing, so quiet, excellent sleep. Totally undisturbed. The hotel is beautiful and the bar is a must visit. Breakfast is on second floor offering a brilliant variety of tasty breakfasts. Very good value for money.

The receptionist when I arrived. I have a sore troat from cancer treatment. I explained that I had booked a room, and she continually asked what I meant. Then rudly said ohh you have a resevation. When I said I found her rude, she talked over me and said I was hard to understand. I spoke too fast and smirked at me being uncomfortable. This is the second time I've been disappointed by the welcome and wish more thought was given to a person who travelled miles after cancer treatment on a hot day. My leaving was warmer by a nice gentleman who asked if I enjoyed my stay which to be fair I did.

Great location near the centre Easy check -in and out. Paid for 48hrs parking when checking-in (£10 for 24hrs) so £20 total. Hotel and room were clean but a little tired , like it is in need of a refurbishment. Comfy bed and good night sleep. A big tv.and powerful shower. Wanted fresh air in the room so nice how the windows opened further than normal hotel rooms. Never had any food from the hotel, so can't comment on that. We were in Swansea visiting our son at Uni and stayed for 2 nights.We will be back, so will definitely stay here again. Great value out-weighed the overall tiredness of the room.

Only one lift working from the 2 in reception Tired room although the reception area didn't reflect this. Rooms just needs a refurbishment

We was going to a show and was local, the staff was amazing and so helpful when we needed a fan they came to our room and dropped it off as the air con in the room wasn’t working and was so hot in the room due to the weather. The view from our bedroom was lovely.

The bed wasn’t comfortable and it kept slipping off the bed as they put 2 single mattress together, that’s the only thing we didn’t like was the bed, the other thing that we didn’t know is they wanted to hold a debit card on the stay for any damages made while staying there that’s the first hotel we had stayed at saying that for there policy was abit strange

The breakfast was excellent- a wide choice of cereals/fruit,etc and piping hot cooked breakfast buffet. There were even pancakes with maple syrup and toffee yogurt. The room was spacious and well appointed - though the furnishings were a little tired. It was great to have flexible air conditioning. The room was well cleaned every day and towels changed as required. The location of the Dragon Hotel is second to none - minutes from the Quadrant Shopping Centre, Bus Station and only slightly further to the Train Station- a flat walk for wheeling cases. Best of all, Swansea Bay is only a 15 minute walk via Swansea Marina, teamin with boats.

One of the 2 lifts was out of order, which made for long waits from the 6th floor. Also the coffee machine was out of order.

Location was great for what we wanted. The exterior of the hotel looked very clean and bright. The shower in the room was really good. Parking to the rear of the hotel (you have to pay in the hotel) was reasonably priced.

The room was incredibly dated and looked as though it could do with a spruce up. The carpet was dirty looking and puckered in places. The paint needed to be brightened up and the furniture in the room is a bit dark and the mattress on the bed was ok however the pillows need to be a better quality. Only one lift working and far too small for the size of the hotel.

Friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms and good air-conditioning. The hotel is generally clean and positioned centrally for the town

When you arrive you have to enter you car reg to parking eye and you are charged £10 for each night. Or fined. You are then asked about breakfast (another£11 per night) so the price you start of at online goes up £21 upon arrival. Bar opens when it feels like and food in the brasserie (bar) is a choice of 3 pizza (£14) or 3 microwave currys (£19) Fortunately lots of options outside. Hotel could be lots better with heating in the public areas ie bar and breakfast room. An increased food offer and a predictable bar opening time

Staff were fab and location spot on, and the room had a fridge, which is a bonus

We didn't stay in the hotel it's self but in a building next to it, which used to be a bank turned into apartments, which is ok but seemed a little run down. The flooring could do with replacing, and a fresh lick of paint needed also no hangers in the wardrobe and unfortunately the mattress was too firm for me. Property didn't meet my expectations has I thought it was staying in the hotel it's self but it was good value for what I got

Our disabled access room was spacious and comfortable with good space in the bathroom. Check in was very simple. And the ladies were very friendly.

A chair in the room was very old and marked. I couldn’t use it as in a wheelchair but it made the room look scruffy. Only one lift working and very small but I did manage to get my wheelchair in, just no space for others! The piano bar and restaurant were not open and the bar downstairs had very loud music, poor choice of drinks and not surprisingly there were no guests. Luckily alternative cafes and bars were very near.

Very good room size (we booked a disabled access double room on the 6th floor at the very end of a corridor), it was more like a suite!! Very comfy bed, very clean and quiet. Didn't book breakfast so can't comment on that.

Only one lift and it was SMALL!! Just enough room for 2 with very small luggage! Lift also used by cleaners so could be a long wait. Heating in room not very efficient. Had it turned up high for the whole 3 days and it was just about ok. Not cold, but not cozy either. Shower was not very powerful and not very warm, even on the highest setting. Just had to have a quick wash and get dried quick to warm up. Also, I don't think patrons should have to pay extra for parking....I hate it when hotels do this. It should be included in the price!
