Bay Villa is an exceptional bed and breakfast accommodation. The room was very spacious and so well furnished. It was really opulent and stylish. It is by far the nicest room that we have ever stayed in. Margarets attention to detail was excellent. There were really thoughtful things like extra treats in the fridge including fresh milk rather than the little cartons of long life milk, and the best locally made shortbread. There was a china teapot with china cups and saucers and plenty of high quality tea and coffee bags. To top it off Margaret was a perfect host. She was so obliging while also being discrete. If we travel north again, I would make a detour to Grange-Over-Sands especially to stay in Bay Villa. A quick shout out to Grange-Over-Sands which was also lovely. Thank you Margaret!

The stunning views, the sensational decor of the room, and most importantly the host!!! Margaret is an absolute gem. From the moment we arrived, everything about this property exceeded our expectations (returning customers). The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could possibly need and then some. It was clear that our host put a lot of thought and care into creating a space that’s both stylish and incredibly comfortable. The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to see, yet quiet and peaceful enough for total relaxation. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the prosecco, birthday card, toffee and candle which made the stay feel truly special. Our host Margaret was communicative, kind, and always available if we had questions, but also gave us complete privacy. It really felt like a home away from home. From the outside, Bay Villa may appear modest, nestled on a quiet street with a charming little café next door—but don’t be deceived. The moment the lovely Margaret opens the door, you’re welcomed into a stunning and spacious interior that far exceeds expectations. We had the pleasure of staying in the Silverdale Room, which was truly luxurious. Featuring a beautiful four-poster bed, a cosy fireplace, a comfortable sofa, and a roll-top bath set in the window overlooking the bay, the room offered a perfect mix of elegance and comfort. It was the ideal setting for celebrating my partner’s birthday, and it certainly did not disappoint. The attention to detail was exceptional. Dressing gowns, slippers, fresh towels, and tea and coffee-making facilities were all provided, ensuring a relaxed and comfortable stay. Breakfast, which is included, was brought to our room in the morning by Margaret herself—a lovely touch that made the experience feel even more personal and indulgent. Margaret was a wonderful host from start to finish, warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. She went out of her way to make my partner feel special on her birthday, creating a truly memorable stay for us both. Thank you, Margaret, for your hospitality. I can’t recommend Bay Villa highly enough and will certainly be returning in the near future.

The room was perfect, beautiful, clean and comfortable. All the little touches were so cute, such as a hairdryer, dressing gowns, slippers, tea and coffee facilities, little snacks and a stocked mini fridge. The bath in the room was the selling point and the reason we booked the Silverdale room, the photos really don’t do the room justice, it’s even more beautiful in real life. We didn’t realise when we booked that we also had an en-suite shower, the shower was perfect. It was also my partners birthday, we mentioned it just in conversation with the owner Margaret, she then very kindly left a bottle of Prosecco outside our room, The breakfast is served in your room, you order from a menu, get a starter as well as your main breakfast which was cooked perfectly Margaret was so friendly and welcoming, a perfect host, we would 100% recommend booking here, brilliant value for money

Beautiful room with a great view across Morecombe bay. The apartment was very well thought out and everything we needed was provided for. Margaret the owner supplied us with a range of hot drinks and biscuits that most hotels don't give you. There was even a small bottle of white wine and a beer in the fridge. Ample plug points, digital radio, and even a radio in the bathroom, and a good sized TV in the bedroom/ living Room. The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen provided. The dining table is placed in the bay window area so you can enjoy the view of the gardens and sea while eating. Really nice balcony area with a swing seat for two, although the weather wasn't that great to use it. We did spend some time out there in the morning watching the birds flying around and it was a relaxing place to sit and take in the view. The bathroom was equally impressive and well thought out. How many times have you stayed in hotels without a shelf to put soaps on in the shower area? Not here, There were mirrors in the right places, decent sized bath robes and shower hats, and naturally a hair dryer was provided if needed. Our one regret was that we had booked out for dinner. I think on reflection I would have preferred to take advantage of one of the takeaways Margaret had thoughtfully given us the details of, and enjoyed the whole night in the place instead. .

Our overnight visit to Bay Villa was exceptional. A warm welcome from Margaret and a parking permit on arrival. The Old Library was our room and it was absolutely beautiful. Margaret catered to us with every comfort. The fridge was stocked with fresh milk, and some wine and a bottle of larger. Everything from the teacups to the cutlery on our breakfast table just oozed luxury. The bathroom and the room was spotless and robes and slippers for us. Sleeping in the four Poster bed was fantastic. So comfortable and waking up in that gorgeous room was such a treat. Margaret served us a brilliant breakfast in our room which opened onto a balcony with fantastic views of the bay. We were travelling to Scotland from Northamptonshire and it was an outstanding stopover. We will definitely be doing this again and if possible will return for a longer stay. I can't recommend Bay Villa highly enough. A big thank you to Margaret from both of us.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay in this gorgeous room! The space was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The facilities were top-notch — from the luxurious bed and super sized bath and cozy sitting area, everything was designed with comfort and convenience in mind. What truly made the experience exceptional was the lovely hostess. Warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive, she went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her kindness made the stay all the more memorable. I can’t recommend this place enough — a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Margaret is the most perfect B&B host you could wish for! We stayed in the gorgeous Silverdale room with the most amazing views across the Bay. The mattress and bedding was the most comfortable we've had on an overnight stay in a long time! The roll top bath over looking the bay was the icing on the cake! The breakfast of superb quality and delivered to the room by the lovely Margaret who has a great sense of humour! We wanted for nothing, the room had everything you could wish for including a complimentary mini bar! If you're looking for a stay in beautiful Grange Over Sands, look no further than Bay Villa!

Our stay was in the Old Library. The room far exeeded our expectations, with stunning views over the bay, little luxuries & finishing touches. The four poster bed was so comfy. There was a fantastic choice at breakfast which was served in our room. What more could you want? Excellent facilities & location. Margaret was a fantastic host & had thought of everything to make your stay just perfect. We have been to Grange-Over-Sands several times for a quiet & relaxing break, this was definitely the best & we wiil be back!
