Pretty, incredibly clean & shiny, very very friendly and helpful owners, free parking, location, buses on the doorstep. Full size kettle, plenty tea,coffee, squash etc, big bottles of water provided, having an iron & ironing board should it be needed, games & books available, toiletries provided. Sure I have missed some other nice things too.

Nothing really! Everything was lovely Perhaps being able to see the menu for the tv programmes more easily would be nice - and a plug near the tv so we could use our Firestick?

Symmoane and Adam are really pleasant and helpful. The building is full of character as it is in the original condition from the 1800s with ornate staircase, and fixtures but with all mod cons of the modern era. The room was cozy and clean with everything we needed. It is located a stones throw from Bowness and the lake, but far enough as to be totally quite and peaceful. There is a convenient private car park to the rear, which is a must for any stay. We plan to stay there again later this year and would highly recommend to anyone. Thanks so much.

Great location. Nice little attention to detail made this stand out more than the usual B&B, including small squash bottle in room. Homely shampoo, conditioner, body wash, Bubble bath all full sized bottles and scents, rather than usual miniatures that you never have enough in. Very quiet room at back of hotel overlooking car park, away from road noise gave us a great nights sleep. Decent choice for continental breakfast, plenty of choice for hot drinks.

If anything would be to upgrade bathroom as although immaculately clean and functional, it is old fashioned and maybe needs simplistically improving and modernising. Maybe add cheeses and ham and eggs to continental breakfast to widen choice.

It’s in a great location, about 15/20 min walk from Windermere station and only 5 min walk from lake Windermere in Bowness, bus stop right outside linking you to lots of other parts of the Lake District and lots of bars, restaurants and shops right on the doorstep. Adam and Simmoane who run the guesthouse are really lovely and happy to help with anything you need. It’s really quiet at night, we slept really well. The breakfasts are continental and are very nice with a wide range on offer.

Hosts Symmoane and Adam are so friendly and made us feel at home straight away. Helped greatly with advice on best local places to eat. Elim Bank house is a beautiful Victorian residence and located perfectly for walking into Bowness centre with all the shops, bars and restaurants within 5 mins and Lake Windermere 10 mins further along. Be aware you will be walking downhill and then back up, but "hey" this is the "Lakes"after all. Good size bedroom with comfortable bed so slept well (small standard double with en suite) fine for us both Continental breakfast (we liked and had further addition of porridge) more than enough choice. We will be returning. Give Elim Bank Guest House a try, you won't be disappointed.

Nothing to dislike.

Symmoane and Adam were perfect hosts. The breakfast choices they offer are varied and of good quality. There were lots of little touches they provided, including shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, a large bottle of water and a small bottle of squash, as well as tea, coffee, etc. The Guest House it's self is lovely with lots of original features and has the added bonus of off-street parking. It is in a perfect location for exploring Bowness, Windermere and the surrounding areas and is only a short walk down the hill to the lakeside and ferries. 👍🏻😊

The shower in our bathroom was quite noisy, but it did have a sign on it saying that it was.

Symmoane and Adam made us feel welcome. We had a lovely room. Clean and spacious enough. Off-street parking. Breakfast was lovely, however, I would have appreciated something savoury in addition to all that sweet ;) (cereal, toast, pastries, porridge, yoghurt). A slice of ham/cheese would be a welcome addition. Would definitely visit again.

The breakfast was very nice, more than enough to set you up for the day 🥰. The location was really good, it was a 2 minute walk to the nearest bars, restaurants and shops! The staff were excellent, very helpful, friendly and efficient, nothing was a bother to them. The rooms had everything you could possibly need, iron, ironing board, toiletries, hairdryer, a fan incase it was too hot and an extra heater incase it was too cold! All needs catered for. I would definitely come back again and recommend you to ours friends 👍🥰

Our only negative was the pillows were a bit soft, however this is just personal preference as we have memory foam pillows at home!

Excellent location a few minutes walk from the centre. Car parking being provided is a bonus with limited options nearby. Breakfast was very good the 4 days we stayed. Adam and Symmoane were friendly and welcoming and are eager to please and find ways to continue to improve. Bedroom was a decent size and everything worked. We will have no hestitation in staying here again in the future.

An upgrade to King size beds when time and money allow would be a good addition, which is not to say that the current beds are bad, but a bit more room would be appreciated.

Excellent place at an excellent location, right on the main road leading to Lake Windermere in just a 10 minute walk. Better than the photos. Very warm people running it. Small but very good breakfast area overlooking the road outside.

Had 2 flights of stairs to the family room at the top. Had no windows on the side walls, only attic windows for natural light. So, we could not see outside. Breakfast was rather simple, but okay.
