The location is right in the city centre .The staff were friendly and helpful. It was quite even though there was a bar underneath the hotelalso liked the fact we had a fridge in our room, which was very useful as we had a mini heat wave while we were staying there.

The hotel was a little dated and needed some decorating the wallpaper above the bed was peeling away in the corner.

Location and cleanliness.

The reception area is dire. (But staff were good) No hot water in shower. Very noisy- a resident? Playing loud music from approx 1.00 am to 5.am. No problem for me but my wife would not have coped with the long journey from reception to room.

I liked the location as it was very central. Friendly staff. The room had a microwave as well as a fridge together with chinaware and cutlery. I wasn't expecting this. Nice comfortable bed.

Noisy neighbours (bit of a home from home!), the door outside my room slammed quite loudly. I could hear the other tenants talking loudly in the corridor. As a single woman I found this a bit intimidating (I was in room C6 which was adjoined to the hotel but outside the back door.) The security light was sensitive; I only needed to turn over in bed and it came on.

The location was very central and although at the front of the building on the high street we experienced no issues with noise. Staff were all lovely and helpful, cleaners keep the rooms lovely and the beds are comfortable. A full size fridge , kettle and microwave were really useful to have. Has a lovely cellar bar called Ren's opposite, great live music and food, A short walk to the Quay with plenty of shops and restaurants

Although advised to leave electric key in to keep heating on, think it may have been on a timer as it went off and it was quite cold on times. Lot's of condensation on the single glazed windows.

The location is really good, it's in the centre, close to shops and restaurants and not far from the bus and train station. The staff were really nice and helpfull, especially George. The rooms were good. The bed was good. Enough storage space in the room.

The windows didn't open very far. The bar was a bit expensive and not a lot of beer choice. Water cooker could have been cleaned a bit better. No elevator. The seagulls very noisy in the morning (of course the hotel can't do anything about this).

The apartment was lovely, well equipped, and comfortable

Unfortunately, the windows have huge gaps in them, they are single glazed, and you hear everything outside. the Polish parish had a very loud gig, and the bell ringing practice was soooooo annoying. I would recommend spending some money and upgrading the windows to double glazing to limit the noise wherever possible. Minor gripe the Duvet was really small for a couple

It's my go to place in Gloucester. Right in the town so everything you need is easily accessible so you don't have to drive and this benefits non drivers and if you want a rest. The staff are always lovely and helpful. My rooms are always immaculate and well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge and microwave. You could be self sufficient in these rooms. I will be staying again definitely and have done for a few years now.

The location is excellent for the docks or the nice pubs/bars/restaurants that Gloucester has on offer. We had a room in the courtyard at the rear of the property and it was very quiet. We are regular visitors to Gloucester as we have a holiday caravan a few miles away and were down to pay a bill on it, so decided to make a evening of it and saw this on Booking.com and decided to stay. This is going to become a regular thing now and may even spend a night here over Christmas. Overall its an excellent place to stay.

Leaving to go home was a little sad but we will return.

After a dingy looking reception, it was a relief to find a modern and clean room with all the facilities one might need for the night. Having a fridge, microwave, cutlery (even a cork screw) was a considerate touch. The bed was firm which was perfect for me.

Reception was a bit shabby and it was a little bit inconvenient to have to go outside to get to my room *especailly with the British weather!). Other guests said they had no hot water, but I did.

Stayed in one of the coach houses around the outside courtyard. Service was excelllent, room was lovely (although opening the window was a little difficult and it was an extremely hot weekend). Location is fantastic, right on the main shopping street. Excellent value for money.

Parking not straightforward but eventually chose the NCP behind. Note- if you do the same download the app as the cost to park is reduced.
