Clean and quiet

In an ungraded balcony king, neither the shower, or the free standing tub, had a handheld shower head. This is a minor expense, but certainly more representative of the promised experience. The existing Kitchen faucet on the tub is chintzy. The temperature/pressure control in shower is also low end. Should have pressure and temp control. Plus the handhelds as mentioned earlier.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Opus Hotel in Vancouver, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the heart of vibrant Yaletown, the location was perfect for exploring the city's charming streets, buzzing restaurants, and beautiful waterfront. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel right at home—warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. A glass of sparkling rosé wine upon check-in was a delightful welcome touch that set the tone for a luxurious stay. And the bed… let’s talk about that bed! It was incredibly comfy—like sinking into a cloud—and the pillows were so soft we didn’t want to get up in the morning. After long days out and about, coming back to that cozy room felt heavenly. We’re already dreaming about our next visit. Opus truly knows how to make our stay memorable.

This is my new favourite hotel in Vancouver. It is located directly across from the Yaletown / Roundhouse sky train station, is so stylish, and the rooms are dead quiet and comfortable. In the lobby there is a beautiful evening bar on one side, and a charming French breakfast place on the other (I recommend the ham and cheese crepe). I was greeted by the friendly staff with a glass of rosé bubbly when I checked in, so I was happy from the get-go, but it just got better from there. It's super easy to control the temperature in the room, and you can have it as dark or as light as you like. The TV is also easy to use (with your own Netflix account). I got a good Winter rate for my beautiful room by booking at the last minute (as in on my way from downtown Vancouver's Pacific Central Bus Station), so if I can get that rate again I will never stay anywhere else in Vancouver. It's also in a perfect location if you're attending the Vancouver International Film Festival, or any events at the Roundhouse or on the Granville Strip. I've already recommended it to everyone I know!

Honestly, this hotel is perfect for me as a single female traveller. I took a look at the Summer rates and got a bit scared though. I live in Victoria and go to Vancouver a lot, so I just hope I can afford this again next time.

Loving this boutique hotel, located within Yaletown, which is well known for its wide range of restaurants. Besides F&B, it’s also a stone throw away from the train station and walking distance to many places of attraction. The property is well maintained, clean and room is comfortable. The true value of this hotel is its people, super friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Kaveh, who gone the extra mile to patiently provide us the information needed. Overall we are very happy and will stay here again if/when we’re visiting Vancouver again. Highly recommended!

Great location in Yaletown, across the road from a wide range of restaurants in the old loading docks. Steps from the train station to/from airport, walking distance to waterfront and to downtown. We took the offered upgrade to a Deluxe King room and appreciated the extra space, great bathroom and facilities. Fabulous shampoo/conditioner range (sadly unable to purchase in small sizes) and a Dyson hairdryer. Staff were friendly and helpful, and held our luggage on checkout.

Breakfast voucher was appreciated, and weekend hours were very generous. However voucher didn't cover cost of even a simple meal after taxes and tips were added.

Great location to the many restaurants and bars, short walk to downtown shopping or waterfront. Very comfortable bed and good sized room.

As I don't drink coffee, tea being my choice of drink, was a little difficult getting a good supply of tea bags and fresh milk, being charged extra for these too. Could have more free TV channels, very limited to watch free movies.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the location couldn’t have been better. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and the bed was exceptionally cozy. We also enjoyed a great view from the seventh floor. Overall, a really pleasant experience.

I was charged $40 to park on-site for just two hours, the same rate as an entire day, which feels unreasonable. I even asked if they could waive the fee given the short stay, but they still insisted on charging the full amount. It’s hard to see how they justify that.

Facility was nice. Personnel were responsive, Professional, Friendly, and Knowledgeable.

Not excited about the restaurant quality, also we did not appreciate the auto tip of some 18%. The service we received was not reflective of that kind of tip. We had a waitress who was vacant most of the time and had to utilize another waitress who was much better. NOW I have to say that the windows need updating to surround a lot less noise. We heard everything that was happening on the street below from Sirens to Trucks to Motorcycles and loud voices. It was unfortunate that noise deflected from this operations superior overall operation. I would be glad to go again but stay on another area of the building.

The location is excellent! . It's pet friendly and close to lots of per friendly restaurants and bars. Very close to the seawall and a great dog park. We were able to exchange our daily included breakfast for parking. Win/win!!!

Not that we didn't totally like it, but the only window in our room #304 is full on to the opposing building. Floor to ceiling, full width of the room and not a glazed window at all. If you would like you can flash the occupants. LoL. They do, however, have 2 sets of shades, full blackout and obscured. They also have frosted sliding doors between the bedroom and the bathroom. We got a kick out of it, and yes, we used the blinds!

The location is amazing. Close to the harbour and all the necessary cafes and shops. We love the pastry next door - their Sakura latte was something. We stayed in a King room, and it was big; we were happy with the size. You do not feel like you need more.

The breakfast was okay, but next time I would prefer to go somewhere else. I'm sure I won't order it again. Since there are so many truly delicious places, it doesn't make sense to settle for bad food. We ordered room service - after waiting for 40 minutes, we called again, and they brought our order. A little bit too long.
