I was not prepared for how overall bad Springfield looks. I did not feel safe in the downtown area so I was really glad my daughter and I stayed at this property away from downtown. I felt safe and the property is well-staffed, clean and bright. We were there for a sports tournament that was held downtown so we were only 10 minutes away from downtown. The staff is well-trained and helpful. We got a great restaurant recommendation right down the street.

Our room was on the 2nd floor and right outside our window was rooftop industrial equipment. We checked in at night so I didn't see it until the next morning. At that point we didn't feel like moving. I would've preferred to be on a higher floor.

Friendly and helpful staff. The beds were amazing and the bathrooms felt very upscale with full sized sulfate free shampoos. The decor in the whole hotel was very nice. My husband couldn’t believe how little I paid for the room.

The food was very good and that surprised us a little since it wasn’t a full-fledged restaurant.

The carts by the front door were a joke. They were the kind you get at an airport instead of at a hotel. Made it difficult to get our dog’s crate and our stuff up to the room.

The staff was very friendly and it was a great place to stay. It was a good value for the cost of the room. We appreciated the cleanliness of the facility.

The pool was out of commission. Mechanical malfunctions happen through no fault of the hotel.

Your website said breakfast was included. But no it was an extra charge

The biggest thing was the carpeting in elevators and hallway needed to be cleaned or replaced

Once again, the location was a huge plus. Easily accessible to different businesses in the area. I also like that I can get food delivered right to my room door with no problem.

The first room I was given had a rather peculiar smell. I thought I'd be able to handle it but when I couldn't I brought it to staff attention and they tried their best to find new accommodations on the same floor a little closer to my kid's room and I appreciate that immensely. Only other thing I couldn't really get past were the other guests in the pool area. I have small children and the bigger kids that came in after us kept jumping in splashing my daughters faces causing them to be uncomfortable quite a few times. We didn't stay very long.

Staff was great and room was clean. We like the area in the lobby to meet others staying there.

We've been here a few times over the years. It just seems to need a refresh.

Most of the breakfast tasted good. The WiFi worked really well for the event that we were there for. The room was nice and comfortable. Our booking was a bit unorthodox, and the staff did a great job of sorting things out and making sure everything was taken care of quickly.

The Eggs tasted really bad at breakfast, and the room was a bit cold and we could not change the temp or turn off the air.

Loved it's location. Very close to shopping, very easy to get to. Beautiful lobby.

The doors. The room doors were very heavy and slammed behind you, which actually startled one of my children who has an aversion to loud noises. Also, there is an outdoor leading to the parking lot that may need to be looked at. It didn't open when I used my key until I came down after getting my kids situated in the room to check my car. It blew open and didn't close until I forced it to.

Little to no noise from rooms next door and from hallway.

A hotter shower would have been nice. The water was at least warm.
