Nice and friendly staff, nice size room, clean and close to everything.

Parking, The lot is small so if you get back late you may not find a spot and other guests have no consideration. They can see that there is limited space and will park on or over line in the next spot making it almost impossible to squeeze your vehicle in without possibly hitting their car or they hitting yours once you get out of yours if you choose to park there.

This hotel exceeded by expectations because it was so CLEAN and the bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. I had a nice chair to sit and read. The young man at check-in was very hospitable. I came in to Springfield via train, and it was only a 5 block walk or so from the station. Many people were parked there, however. If you had to take a taxi from the station, it wouldn't cost much due to proximity. It also had a shuttle with its name on it, but I don't know what its services are.

Coffee at breakfast. For these very reasonable prices, I certainly did not expect Starbucks, That said, the coffee had a burnt taste, and I went down to breakfast shortly after 6 am.

Location to downtown was a big factor in booking. 4 blocks to get to the city…we walked and just left our car at the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Liked the large sink giving us plenty of room. Bed very comfortable. Staff was friendly. Good coffee….did not eat breakfast so can’t comment. And rate was very fair

Close to the center of Springfield, and it was nice to walk around the old Route 66. The reception on Tuesday evening was very welcoming, and she was very kind to exchange some quarters for the washing machine and the dryer. The room was spacious and comfortable, and you really feel that this hotel was built to greet all travelers crossing the nation!

The staff were so friendly. The lady at the front desk who checked us in assisted with extra towels and an early check in since our room was ready. The lady who serves food in the morning was friendly and made a delicious breakfast. The location was perfect for our downtown events. The beds were comfortable. The place was kept clean. I enjoyed the facility being smoke free.

A basic and slightly dated, but comfortable room. It was clean with a decent shower. Breakfast options were okay - good value for the price we paid. We chose this hotel for a one night stay as part of our Route 66 trip and it was more than adequate for this purpose.

The area around the hotel doesn't feel particularly safe so we didn't venture out on foot.

Everyone working was so nice and helpful! I thought I lost a book in my room, and they went out of their was to make sure it wasn’t there- even though the room had already been cleaned. Turns out I left it somewhere else, so I really appreciate all their help! Also was great because I left my car and walked around down town on foot. Didn’t have to worry about parking!

My room had a some food crumbs - something like a cookie maybe? - on the floor. Might have needed another run with the vacuum.

I would have liked for there to be a place to get filtered water in the building. I would have also liked if the breakfast was a little more substantial if possible.
