The staff went above and beyond to provide exceptional hospitality. Their assistance with unloading my van and bringing all of my belongings to my room was completely unexpected and truly appreciated. They even refused to accept a tip for their help. Additionally, we had a wonderful experience with breakfast as the staff was very accommodating when they ran low on food at the buffet.

When we arrived on the first night and attempted to dine at the hotel's restaurant, there appeared to be a staffing issue. We were initially told that our party of eight could not be accommodated. While we were eventually able to work with the staff to secure a table, the wait for our food was extremely long.

Excellent location if you want to visit Abraham Lincoln’s house and Presidential Museum. It’s a 40-or-so minute walk from Lincoln’s Tomb. I took an Uber there but walked back. Room was spacious and comfortable. Evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. Alex at Reception gave me a complimentary breakfast voucher after being unable to assist with an issue prior to check-in. Excellent customer service, that. I’ve read comments about crime in the area. I saw no signs of it. Felt perfectly safe at all times.

No grocery stores around. Hotel mini-mart was ok. Luckily I walked past a supermarket on the way back from Lincoln’s Tomb. Pool was closed for maintenance. Little bit pricey, I thought.

The location was perfect and central to where I was going. The breakfast was fantastic, the price was great and the waitress was super nice and did a great job serving us.

I had a double but the comfort is better with a queen size bed and not a standard bed. Overall, it was comfortable for one person or a person and a child. The TV was not a smart TV which I thought most hotels have upgraded.

The front desk staff was amazing; Will. He went above and beyond to help me since I was having an issue with my bank cards. He was very patient and kind. The staff at the restaurant was also very friendly, and their breakfast was good! The pool was nice. We had it all to ourselves, so our children loved that. The hotel was super quiet. The beds were very comfy!! Also, this place is super close to everything we wanted to visit.

The view is not great. There’s construction going on, so that’s all you see. Also, there was no fridge or microwave in our room.

The location if you want the downtown. Few steps to the museum and Lincoln home. The room is spacious and clean. The hotel is looking historical.

The hotel is very old so renovations in some areas and furnuture are needed.

Nice and roomy. I like that there was decent shampoo in the shower.

The room wasn't cool enough. I also needed towels and had to call multiple times to get them. I went down to the desk and they wouldn't let me just carry them up. It made me stressed that I could be late. It was also nice that they gave me a cookie at checkin

The breakfast was pretty good. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon fruit two kinds of yogurt, muffins and bagels and so much more.

One of the nicest hotels we stayed at. Beautiful room and lobby, friendly staff. Excellent location right in Springfield city center.

Really could have used a small refrigerator. Ice machine on 4 th floor did not produce ice several times. Ice bucket in room very small and would not keep ice overnight

Needs updating seriously. For the price definitely needs updating. There was writing on the walls in our room. Electrical sockets didn't work. Carpets and elevators worn.
