We spent a fantastic week here. Location was great, walkable to the beach and town. Mel and Andy were super helpful with local information and arranged tours for us. The pool was nice and the acommodation perfect for our family of 6. Nice outdoor BBQ area.

A great place for a family holiday. Nice sized townhouses Lovely and welcoming family who run the accommodation who happily arranged a boat trip for us. Bedrooms are large and layout worked well - 2 upstairs and 1 downstairs..Kitchen and living area is well equipped and compact. We used outdoor table and chairs for brekkie. Loved the outdoor bbq and tables and had a couple of evening meals there A walk into town but we enjoyed it.

The property blew us away. For a 3 night stay in port Douglas for 7 people, we were strapped with options then I came across this place. The facilities were beautiful and the apartments were gorgeous. Fully stock kitchens, light up mirrors, private balcony’s, and just a 2 minute walk down the road is a e-scooter hub for getting around really easily.

If I did have to choose one thing that wasn’t my favourite it was the beds. They were a bit hard and the pillows too hard as well.

The standard townhouse came with all the facilities you'd expect. The property was great, and the pool was good to cool down after sightseeing. The property is located about a 10-minute walk from Port Douglas and the beach.

The main bedroom mattress was old, the springs gave little support and it was generally uncomfortable. This was the only issue in what was a great location and I highly recommend the place to stay.

Very Good location close to beach, some eateries & only a few mins drive to main shopping centre & Marina. Thanks Mel for opening downstairs 2nd bathroom for us as we stayed 9 nights. Well equipped apartment with fans & aircon & we enjoyed cooling off in the pool after being out & about during the day.

Lovely accommodation!! Clean and safe. It was great that we could request access to another bedroom in our apartment so we could all sleep separately. Aircon units and fans throughout the apartment were great. Lovely pool. Helpful staff.

One aircon unit upstairs didn’t seem to be working or else we just didn’t know how to get it started.

Really lovely well equipped townhouse, lots of space, gorgeous pool, close to beach and port Douglas. So good we stayed an extra few nights. Loved that we could use the bbq too. Staff are also lovely.

Nicely presented self contained accommodation in a small complex of detached townhouses with lovely tropical landscaping and well maintained surrounds. Quiet complex at night so slept well in comfortable very large beds. We had everything we needed for our one week stay in Port Douglas and particularly enjoyed sitting on the upper balcony and ground floor patio - so relaxing. Sizable heated pool was situated in front of our townhouse along with an undercover bbq area. We liked that all the facilities were just a step away when we needed/wanted to use them. Managers are very friendly and accommodating and the townhouse was clean and inviting on our arrival. Well situated complex in Port Douglas.

We really enjoyed our 7-day stay at Tropical Nites. The entire townhouse was spacious for a family of four adults, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with enough crockery, saucepans etc. for a dinner night in. It felt like a home away from home. It was located just a nice 10 minute walk away from 4 mile beach, a great location for a morning stroll. The town shops and marina are also nearby, approximately a 2minute drive. Check-in and check-out was very easy, parking was also available and safe. Mel and Andy were very friendly owners, who were very helpful in also organizing a few activities for us. I would highly recommend this stay for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Port Douglas.

It was easy to book, we were very well informed before arrival and during the stay about all relevant issues both with regards to the accommodation but also on tours, transport etc. The place is quiet and the apartments are spacious and very well equipped. Definitely recommendable.

The apartment was situated 15 minutes from the centre which was great but the walk can be quite warm. This is not something I do not like though but for some it could be an issue.
