The location and decor were excellent. The room was extremely clean and the bed super comfortable. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of choices. Cafe Imperial is a must-see for the art deco interior.

Some staff at breakfast were a little unfriendly.

Beautifully decorated, welcoming and very clean. Staff were lovely and the hotel was in a great location. Breakfast was very nice, and you had lots of choice of both hot and cold buffet and it was laid out very well..Our room was beautifully decorated and the bed was so comfy. The bathroom looked very new and clean too. We would highly recommend the hotel.

The tea/coffee was limited in the room. There were very small coffee cups to make tea with, only one bag each too per day... and we are big tea drinkers! The restaurant is very busy as it is open to the public and on certain days a cruise company that uses it, so we did find some things running out on those days. Overall, it was lovely. There was lots of choice of hot/cold and patries so you could choose alternatives if something had gone.

We were very excited to spend time in this beautiful hotel! From start to finish the whole experience was truly fantastic! The hotel and restaurant staff were giving us the real 5 star treatment, we felt very comfortable. We had a bottle of bubbles waiting for us in the room upon arrival, we had great sleep every night, amazing breakfast each day of our stay, the location is perfect, the building is stunning! Just everything was absolutely incredible, We can't wait to go back to Prague to get some more of this, :-) THANK YOU ART DECO , YOU ARE A SUPERSTAR!

NOTHING! There wasn't a single thing we didn't like, the hotel is a house of professionals, they have the smallest details covered for guests comfort. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT

The breakfast room/restaurant was spectacular - almost like an art gallery. Reception was very efficient. Bed very comfortable. Location was very good - far enough from centre to be quiet, but close enough to get anywhere on foot.

The food choices at breakfast were not particularly good.

This was a real 5 star experience. The hotel is amazingly beautiful, there are a lot of art deco in the lobby and everywhere and you can feel and see history at every corner. My room was rather small but very comfortable and well designed. I absolutely enjoyed my stay there, and also it is 10-15 minutes walk to the Old Town Square. What I also liked was how helpful the staff was. I booked everything in short notice and only 1 day before my trip I realized that I did not book a table at the Cafe Imperial and that it was not possible to do it anymore through their system. So I contacted the hotel concierge and they helped me finding a table! Thank you! Btw my dinner at the Cafe Imperial was astonishing. Breakfast is at the same place and it is very delicious too.

Breakfast: Wonderful, great variety, all fresh and high quality. They had very tasty porridge, eggs (scrambled, fried, boiled), fried mushrooms and vegetables, wide choice of meat, there was also perfect salmon, cheese, yogurts, lots of types of bread and bakery, of course all the jams, coffee both machine-made or a pot on your table, and I am sure I forgot something (since we haven't even tried everything). The breakfast is open until 10-30, which is wonderful. The restaurant is also open during the day. But it is very Porsche one (one evening there was a police escort around the hotel because, as we were told by the bystanders, the President of Portugal was having dinner -not sure if this was true, but the place looks like one for top-officials to visit). However, when I ordered a shrimp salad one day, it was a bit disappointing (basically, shrimps, bread crumbs and onions) - but I am not a gourmet, so maybe I didn't get it. In any case, there are so many restaurants around that you can find your option starting from this luxury one and all the way to Burger King if you want to. Of course wonderful local restaurants as well. Rooms: I expected rooms to be kind of dark after looking at the pictures, but I was surprised that they were not dark at all, the walls are wonderful light-blue colour, and generally it feels rather light inside. The room is spacious, and there is a separate wardrobe (although it is a bit small). Good heating system which was easy to regulate. The floor is covered with a carpet (for us it was important as my daughter likes to play on the floor). Bathroom: I was unsure before arrival about all the marble on the pictures, but actually it looks and feels great - very high quality and clean. The bathroom floor is heated, which was nice in February. I loved the tap system, very convenient. Cleaning: impacсable. They also clean the rooms until 16-00, which is very useful. Cleaners are friendly and smiley.

It would have been good to have some shelves in the wardrobe (not just hangers). But then - you can't have everything!

Lovely hotel. Decor is very good, very comfortable bed, room facilities are excellent and staff very helpful. Very close to Palladium shopping mall and metro station which was a bonus.

Only negative for us was the water pressure in the shower. Barely adequate.

Lovely hotel that was excellent value for money. The Bill actually made me double-check that they hadn't forgotten a day. The room was clean, comfortable, and decorated nicely, there was a really nice big bed, a lovely bathroom and a shower. Hotel breakfast was very good. Great location about 5 to 10 minutes walk to the old town square. Lots of great restaurants and bars in the area. Beautiful buildings. About a 15-minute walk to Charles Bridge.

The only problem, for a 5-star hotel I would expect better service when it comes to guest requests. Ordering room service for instance. In the restaurant, I could get a flat white with no hassle, but when requesting one for room service it was impossible as the man didn't know what they were, and wouldn't just pass the order to the restaurant. Also requesting a fork for a late-night snack was met with a "no the restaurant is closed" from the reception staff. I would expect someone to sort it out for you in a five-star hotel. A tiny issue that did not take away from the rest of the stay in this lovely hotel.

Right in the centre of Prague. Historical building with such a nice atmosphere. Restaurant Next Door was excellent, breakfast at the hotel was also superb.

Can get quite noisy during the night. Would expect fresh flowers at the front desk.

Be warned about the potential for overcharging. Booking.com quoted a price in EUR and gave a conversion to CZK at the same time. Both the Booking.com price and the final invoice price at the hotel in EUR matched, but there was a sizeable difference in what the hotel actually charged me in CZK compared to what it should have been, even when using currency converter apps on the same day. They overcharged by 210Kc and that was only for one night! It would have been even worse for a multiple night stay. It left a bad taste in my mouth after a pleasant stay. I am not sure why when booking a hotel in the Czech Republic, there is any mention of Euros. You are charged and pay in CZK, so if EUR need to be mentioned at all, it should only be as a guide. Czech hotels should not be pricing in Euros!
