Great location near local amenities. Car parking in a secure underground car park great. Make sure if parking go to the hotel first to get your parking disc for the barrier. Don’t do what I did and park first as you will have to take your car out of the car park and then return with your Hotel car park disc.

The hotel is in a good location next to the station and only a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in. Enjoyed scrambled eggs at breakfast.

The parking was close to the hotel and had good sized parking lots. The problem was you needed to pick up a card to access the parking from the hotel but there was no obvious place to leave the car whilst you did this. Some advance advice from the hotel would have been helpful

The room was ample enough for our 3 night stay. Bonus is the balcony looking over a busy roundabout, opposite the railway station, with the river moving down to a more distant harbour, all with a backdrop of the Pyrenees behind. It is 400m from the beach, but each route you take leads you down through a myriad of shops, markets, busy squares of cafes and restaurants, historical buildings, to eventually find a beautiful sandy beach where curiously the best surf is 200m away from the beach, so there's little chance of beacher and surfer coming together. The railway station is not intrusive, in fact it passes time on the balcony watching the people and trains come and go. Same with the boats, cars, scooters, lorries, buses etc etc. Took a day trip by train to Biarritz, Station obviously very handy. And a bus/coach stop, with I'm sure goes everywhere once you've worked out how to use it. With the balcony door closed, you hardly hear a thing and get a good nights sleep. Good aircon!!

Great location, clean room, good size for two friends travelling together, parking close by (they quoted 20€ but charged 25€)

Our air con didn’t work and we woke up sweating during the night. Had to open the doors to let some cool air in and the road was loud so that was annoying. The lady at reception was incessant about us returning the key card for the parking. She told us maybe 7 times to return it. I assume people have left with it before. It got quite annoying in the end.

We have stayed at this hotel 4 or 5 times before. The location is great as it is just across the road from the train station. It is also just a short walk from restaurants, cafes and bars. Not much further to the beach. We will definitely stay here again. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is in the best possible location for reaching by public transportation- across the street!!! It is near marina and a short walk to the beautiful beach. Steps away from historical downtown and church. Check-in and check-out smoothly. Everything was perfect. Big shower and comfy bed/pillows.

Small hotel right next to train station. They rent (reserve in advance!) 5 parking spaces in underground garage (thsnk God!). We put the car in on arrival and didn’t have to contend with impossible street parking. Perfect location to walk to old city, beach, restaurants. It was s as great small hotel for an overnight (near fishing harbor)

The hotel was perfectly positioned to the station and the wee village of was a real gem to wander around. Beautiful market in the town on a Tuesday which was totally unexpected and was stocked with everything you could want food wise. Beautiful beach and gorgeous St John the Baptist church.

Nothing could be improved. Our room was a little small, but then that was expected as it was a hotel and not an apartment.

the gentleman who checked me in during an intense rain storm was so kind. I was lost, soaked, very hungry and tired, and speak virtually no French. He brought me a pre-made dinner on a tray, and honestly it was the best meal I had in this town. I liked the hotel so much that when my travel plans changed I came back and stayed another night.

I had a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel in July. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the hotel itself seemed well maintained and clean. The room I had was more than adequate for two people, with a comfortable bed and a clean - although somewhat old - bathroom. The hotel is located right next to the train station and a very short distance from the historic centre and the beach, making it an ideal choice for those that like to walk or don't have a car, especially for the price, compared to other hotels in the area.

My one - very minor - complaint was the breakfast. It's a typical "continental" style breakfast, which is fine, but on my first day the croissants and pain au chocolate seemed like they were a day old and not fresh, and the fruit on offer was in little packets and again not freshly prepared. Everything else was fine though and for the price of the hotel, the location, and how nice the staff were, this really wasn't an issue for me.
