Great location just a few minutes walk from the town centre, but still quiet. Really characterful house with big (shared) lounge/diner and kitchen and small private enclosed patio at the back.

Wasn't very clear from description that bathroom was shared (may not be true for all rooms). Stairs to top floor rooms are quite tight and steep, so would not recommend for someone with mobility issues. What looks like on-street parking outside turns out not to be (the locals just seem to know when they can and can't get away with it) - so use the car park 50 yards further up the road to avoid getting a ticket if you have a car!

The place is very nice, like a little castle, it has much space, furnished with taste with love, love the room number 6. All the bathrooms and kitchen very modern and convenient, much space and 2 big fridges. Almost 15 years I come in Guimarães for work, and hotel rooms are quite very sad, like hospital rooms quite sometimes. This place is typical Portuguese charm with very good energy inside and much taste. Place very clean all well organised for a perfect stay. I recommend this place and I would like to book for next trips in Guimarães. I congratulate you for all the care. Best wishes. Lorenzo

Good location just outside of the town centre. Street parking not far away. We were in room 1, with an en-suite bathroom (I believe the other 5 bedrooms share 2 other bathrooms). The room was large and the bed comfy. The shower had good water pressure and the water was warm. The shared living room and the shared kitchen were well equipped.

A toaster would be a great addition to the kitchen, as well as non-stick pans. The air freshener might not be everyone's taste, but it was needed being an older house. Some of the wallpaper was peeling off the wall in our bedroom, probably due to dampness on the external wall.

Great space. Great amenities. Great location.

The upstairs bathroom door hinges need to be oiled. ...because old men have to get up in the night...and we don't like disturbing other guests. ;)

big room, great location and cozy decor

the room door could be opened even when locking. that’s actually problematic. in other situations would be really bad. but nothing happened. i think there weren’t even no one staying on our floor. but that’s quite bad.

comfy and accessible. third time we stay there and probably i’m gonna be back.

the door of the bedroom doesn’t really lock. you can open it without punching the code just by forcing it a little.

This is the 4th time I have stayed there. It is small and feels like staying in someone’s house. The kitchen is huge, the beds comfortable and the location is very central. I shall definitely be staying there again.

It was great, facilities are very clean, organized and had everything I needed.

It was not clear how to go in, there is no staff there. I needed to call to ask and she guided me on how to go in. I supposedly received an email,m about it, but I actually didn’t.

Huge clean room. They send you the door code at check-in time and you enter and use another code to access your room key- it sounds complicated but it was all very easy. Good location. There's a coffee machine too.

Everything was excellent. Location was close to the historic center, bars, bakeries and restaurants. Very clean and comfortable. Beautifully decorated with antiques.
