Leichardt Motor Inn was amazing from start to finish. I called to advise we would most likely be arriving after hours, and Fiona was so accommodating. She text me the details for after hours key collection as discussed, and made the whole process so easy for us. The room was spotless and well appointed, and the bed comfortable. We had the best 2 nights sleep in ages. Loved the spa bath as well :) The location was perfect. We were within a 5 minute drive of everything we wanted to do over the weekend, and we will definitely be booking a room there again when we have a family trip to Toowoomba

The hotel is in a great central location, everything was very clean & comfortable in the room. The staff member we spoke to (I think maybe the owner or manager) was absolutely lovely. There is a small shopping centre with a variety of takeaways, bottleo & a convenience store 1 block up, so that was a real bonus. No traipsing about town or forking out for uber eats needed, if you wanted to avoid it.

No dish liquid supplied in the room. A small inconvenience, we had some in the car from camping, but not everyone would.

I absolutely loved the welcome and service provided by Fiona. She is a gem....and whatever they are paying her is not enough. Thank you so much for your kindness and help, Fiona. Everything was clean and efficient - Netfllix a bonus I didn't expect. And the bed was super comfortable.

The room was exceptionally clean, but the style a bit dated. No issues with it tho.

Rooms were a good size for a single person or a couple. They were clean and tidy and equipped with all of all the kitchen equipment needed for a motel stay. Bathrooms provide liquid body soap, shampoo and shaving cream, towels etc. One of the major benefits of this Motel is its handy location to a variety of eateries. A block of shops about 100 metres away included a Bakery, Cafe, Chinese Restaurant and Takeaway, Kebab shop and a Fish and Chip Shop We had Breakfast and Coffee across the road at a place called Stellarosa which was great. I would stay there again when in Toowoomba as it was very good value and a great location on a main Street of Toowoomba, just outside of the main CBD which was 2 minutes drive away.

Manager was very friendly and a great communicator that made you feel welcome and was there to make your stay enjoyable. The motel room being clean and tidy.It was very well equipped with all the basic necessities. Eg Fridge Microwave Toaster and kettle. While the bathroom had wall dispensers of hand soap shampoo and shaving cream. One of the biggest pluses for me was the location where you had a Chinese takeaway, Bakery, Kebab shop, Cafe as well as a Fish and Chip shop. Additionally across the road, was a place called Stellarosa that provided a range of coffee and breakfasts. from 7am

There wasn't anything that I didn't like and would stay there next time I visit Toowoomba.

Thank you Fiona for the lovely welcome and apologising for having to put us upstairs, we are travelling around Australia on a Harley Trike, so have a bit of luggage, we weren't worried as for 70 plus we are pretty fit. The room was great , clean, comfortable bed and pillows, great shower. Awesome hug from Fiona when we left. Highly recommend 👌 👍

If you don't like to walk, then a bit far into the centre but we loved it.

The rooms are spacious, spotless and have everything you need including a microwave, fridge, kettle, tea and coffee, crockery and cutlery. Rooms also have hairdryer, TV etc The place is pretty central to town with a supermarket and several takeaways within a 1 minute walk. There is also a gym and late night pharmacy across the road. The staff are brilliant and very accommodating

The location was near in our itinerary.

This is the 3rd or 4th booking that we have in this inn and the room that we have doesn't have a charging plug near the bedside table, the aircon is not heating properly even if we put it on the maximum, the pipe under the faucet at the bathroom is leaking a bit, and I requested a ground floor beforehand as we booked but given the room upstairs. And haven't gotten much sleep because there is a commotion around 4.30am onwards at the lower ground as someone is shouting and quarelling. Overall, not a good stay at that weekend but still we will look forward to book again some other time.

All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Leichhardt Motor Inn. Like all motels there is always some niggly little things that could have been better, but overall we did enjoy our stay.

The very small bathroom. That's it. That was the most annoying thing - hardly any room between the toilet and the shower wall and nowhere to put our own personal items in the shower or on the vanity.

This was a very spur of the moment decision to book somewhere "up the Hill" which was cooler and gave me a break from where I was staying in the Lockyer Valley. I picked the Leichhardt for its POOL(!), good location on Ruthven St, and a modest rate. The motel is a little tired, with the classic "brickwork wall" interior, and non-allocated parking...but inside the room was well-appointed, working AIRCON(!), a big comfy bed, TV, and all the kitchenette mod-cons that good motels have. The new lady manager made me feel welcome and did her best to help me out when my credit card was declined (it was maxxed out to my surprise! My fault, not the motel's) and she enjoyed a chat....once I managed to pay, I let her know that her pool was where I was heading.........ahhhh, and she gave me a late checkout at very short notice! Loved my solo stay there.....

The stock picture of the pool made it look bigger than it actually was, which was a bit of a disappointment when I used it after my arrival. But, once I'd adjusted my expectations, it was a lovely relief from two shocking days of heat. The other very minor thing, was a sticky door knob when trying to unlock my room (number 10), so perhaps that needs a little maintenance.
