I have had the best experience in this hotel. The staff at the hotel are super friendly, nice and very helpful. The room is very nice, clean and very comfortable. I had a balcony room and it was very convenient. One thing I’d like to add. Oswald the friendly member of the IHG team was so kind and helpful throughout my whole trip. He is an asset to IHG New Orleans. I’d definitely recommend staying at this hotels it’s close to Canal Street, Mississippi River and not too far from French Quarter. Also it’s not too far from Garden District. A streetcar ride will take you less than 10 minutes. 10/10.

The hotel itself is beautiful. It was much nicer than I expected for the price. There was a quick check-in. Staff were professional and helpful. I had t come down to get complimentary toothbrushes because we forgot ours. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I liked the location. It was very walkable to good restaurants and city happenings. It was very easy to get Lyfts/Ubers within a matter of minutes. I also had very good food at the happy hour. I had barbeque shrimp and gumbo that was as good as any outside restaurant.

The room could have a refrigerator instead of the stocked mini-bar with a sensor. This would have made a huge difference. The water downstairs and at the convenience store cost $10 for 2 bottles. We didn't have anywhere to store our leftovers or to keep our water cold.

We had a wonderful stay here. Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great, we walked to all the sights. Our room was huge, on the 14th floor with lovely views and was very quiet. Bed was comfortable and good shower. I requested a kettle so was able to drink real tea. Coffee machine does have green tea though. We had breakfast included in our room rate which great. I still miss the freshly made omelettes and beignets. We had to sign for the service charges but they were not on our final bill and they also gave us a $20 credit for the restaurant/ bar. The gym was good and the pool lovely (looked larger in the photos). As we had a late return flight we were able to have a free late check out which was really appreciated. Definitely would recommend.

The bed was comfortable ,the shower was well stocked and the room was clean and fresh

There was no fridge and we always expect to be able to store medicines and drinks especially to stay hydrated. The restaurant was the low point of the stay where the owner / greeter practiced segregated seating where he placed me and other people of color away from whites. I have seen this before especially in the South where the old segregationist still believe it is acceptable. I like others of my race have been subjected to this practice and can smell when it is being employed when we look at other being given privilege. Racism is alive in the Trenasse Restaurant. I will not eat there again.

Room was quiet. They were accommodating as we were able to stay in same room for a cruise reservation.

The fees that were added onto the "included breakfast" were outrageous. We could have bought breakfast next door for a lot less then the fees. The one restaurant had a sign advertising happy hour and then when we asked, were told no. We asked for manager and they finally allowed happy hour prices but said they weren't doing it because of the Jazz Festival. The problem was there was signage everywhere and online that said there was happy hour with no restrictions. Manager got snippy with us therefore we stayed for a drink and small plate and left. No dinner.

The location is perfect, just outside of the hustle and bustle of Bourbon & Canal, but just close enough you can easily walk to both. Parking garage next door, so self parking was easy, but hotel offered valet if that's something you're interested in. The hotel & the room were both SO CLEAN. It felt so much like home because of that. The smell of the whole hotel, I just wish I could bottle and take come with me. The outside noise didn't bleed into the room once the balcony door was closed. All hotel staff was friendly! Bonus was the onsite convenience store area, that was self check out.

My biggest complaint would be the uncomfortable bed. Hard as a rock. The bedding itself was comfy and nice, would love for the mattress to match that. Second complaint, but a tiny one, would be the lack of refrigerators in the rooms.

This was my fourth hotel this trip (we moved around due to a fishing trip in middle), and by far the best value for price of all of them. I'm a value shopper and had expected this room to reflect its low price for the area, but holy cow, I felt like pretty woman walking into that room. No, it wasn't a penthouse, but compared to my other hotel stays this place hit all the marks - clean, swanky style, comfortable, the bathroom vanity was nice in looks and structure, and the bath area had the extra door to the shower/toil which made coordinating multiple peoples routines seamless, the provided shampoos and such were better than mine at home, the cups were glass/ceramic (no plastic/styrophome here), the pool was warmed (others were unheated). The staff went out of there way multiple times to provide extra services that were free, and they did so with character and kindness. It's fisherman friendly with a freezer to freeze your catch. And it's a short walk to the french quarter, or a $10 uber on average if it happens to be raining.

The location was excellent. Staff was friendly. Room was spacious, as was the balcony. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Soundproofing was extremely poor. We didn’t really mind the noise from the trolley, but the air movers / vents were at times really loud even with the balcony door and curtains closed. We didn’t spend time at the balcony because of the noise and neighbouring room’s window looking straight at our balcony, a bit disturbing imho (see the window in the right corner, it’s not our room). The king bed was quite hard and the pillows were lumpy. A makeover might be in order.

We had a beautiful king corner suite with a balcony. The room was roomy, clean & felt so very comfortable. The balcony was HUGE. Every single staff member we came in contact with was so pleasant. Loved that the grocery/snack area was more of self serve with self checkout. The shampoo, conditioner & body wash supplied by the hotel was amazing. Great location, in a "cleaner" side of New Orleans, but still in perfect walking distance/street car ride to all the attractions in the French Quarter/Canal/Bourbon Streets.

The mattress itself was terrible, but I feel like mattresses are hit and miss at most hotels, the bedding itself was great. The self parking option was a bit pricey. No refrigerators in the room- not sure if this is an option in other rooms, but we only had access to a minibar in our room. No way to store any waters or other drinks to keep them cool while staying.

I loved the staff, the cleanliness, the comfort. Staff was extremely friendly and always ready to help. It was also very nice to have daily room cleaning. That's something that far too many hotels simply will not do anymore.

I didn't like the overall expense for meals inside the hotel. Breakfast for my wife and me was $72. And it wasn't anything really fancy. Drinks were overpriced. The room 'goodies' (snacks and beverages) were entirely ridiculous. $6 for a micro can of Pringles seems a little much.
