The Hyatt Centric French Quarter was a wonderful place to stay and I would stay here again. The room was very spacious , clean to my liking and the restaurant staff were kind and funny. I felt safe here

not the biggest issue but if i had to say anything I didnt like it would be that there was not a microwave in the room. couldnt bring back any food to heat for later

We came to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary and choose Hyatt Centric because it is perfectly located, easy to reach restaurants, bars, and shops, all within walking distance. The room was great, very comfortable bed and super clean. The staff at the front desk was very kind, very helpful in advising tour options, and even the bellhop was so kind and helpful. The drinks at the bar are really well made, nothing to complain about that. "Chapeau for Hyatt Centric! Will definitely recommend it!

There is nothing we did not like, everything was just great!

EVERYTHING!! The location was perfect. The room was spacious. Staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly. The receptionist allowed us to check in early as we were here to celebrate my husband's birthday. Bed was comfortable. Restaurants on site were perfection! We had drinks along with BBQ sliders and chicken/sausage gumbo at the bar. I had the signature Wood Grilled Redfish with Louisiana Crawfish Tails; my taste buds are still tapdancing on the flavor; Louisiana Crawfish Dip and Honey-Crystal Shrimp appetizers were superb! Sitting on the balcony was a nice vibe. We always felt safe. Off site and directly across the street is the Hot and Cajun Boil House; if you love seafood boils, this is a hit, especially when walking back from Bourbon Street. We will definitely stay here again when we return.

It's not a dislike... but the water was very hot coming out of the faucet, so be cautious if you have small children. There was absolutely nothing to dislike about the Hyatt.

Perfect location, you’re just around the corner from bourbon street but away from the craziness. Really beautiful lobby, beautifully decorated rooms. Very spacious too.

Like so many other reviews…… the sound from the street was pretty loud. Like you can hear conversations loud. We had a room on level 3 that backed onto Canal Street. I think the problem would be easily fixed if the hotel invested in proper windows to the street….. they are still very old/thin windows that look like they are from the original building. I think if the hotel just put some double glazing over the windows, this would fix that. There was mould in the shower as well. Overall it is a great hotel, but I probably would say to look around for another hotel (maybe the Ritz Carlton which is just down the road).

We were right at the start of Burbon St and Canal where the streetcars are was great for ease in visiting other parts of the city. The hotel had a lovely lobby and bar that also served food and a coffee shop for breakfast items. Everyone from the bellmen to to the room service staff was friendly and helpful.

We had a suite (rm 348) and that was directly above Burbon St. The suite was large and comfortable but the noise, pretty much day and night required ear plugs, when we weren't out partying ourselves.

Location was perfect very close to Bourbon street as well as many restaurants, galleries and local attractions - the staff was super friendly and helpful from the valet to front desk staff and bar - loved the pool area and courtyard - very quiet like small oasis in the middle of town

The food amenities in house were not impressive which is understandable due to all the restaurant choices around - however my booking included breakfast but it wasn’t a sit down but rather on the grab and go with horrible coffee - I also didn’t appreciate the fact that at check in I was told that our booking only included breakfast for 2 adults and not our 17 year old daughter despite us indicating on the reservation that we were traveling with a minor

The hotel is after the renovation: rooms, lobby and halls are clean and beautiful. Beds are very comfy, bath is clean and has everything that you need. Very good location: close to Royal and Bourbon streets, but in a quiet area. The hotel is really pet-friendly.

We booked a room with the included breakfast and it was a disaster. There are no real breakfasts in the hotel, you can order it in the restaurant on the first floor. On check in we got a special paper about included breakfasts, and the instructions that we had to show it when we came there. In the morning it turned out that no one knows what to do with that paper. As the result we paid for breakfast by ourselves, and the hotel didn’t include breakfasts to the final bill. What was the point? The service in the restaurant is very slow, it seems like they are out of staff. Refill for coffee? You can forget about it. Restaurant is the main disappointment during our stay.

We loved the location and the homelike feeling of this hotel. People knew us within a couple days and we felt very comfortable here. We ate breakfast in the restaurant every morning and sat in the bar for a bit of happy hour every afternoon. And we very much enjoyed the courtyard and pool area just outside our room, with all the comfortable seating. This was a great place for us to decompress after a busy day. What a wonderful place in a fascinating city.

Always a great staff n stay(maya,tracy, kent) but everybody helpful outgoing know how to take jokes and give them. Easy access to bourbon st. Like the remodel of front restaurants. Definitely comp water upon entrance lol... been staying here over 10 years and plan on continuing.

The canal st Entrance closed off. Might be because of homeless occupying the area. Definitely like to see reopen. More food selection at the bar( pizza,jambalaya) finger food. Lastly I stayed in rm 367 wish there was an outlet by the closet so I didn't have to bring iron n board by tv. Plenty of space by closet... otherwise rm was great.

Excellent location. We by foot quickly reached historic district (french quarter) and later by foot went to NBA game at Kings arena. Felt safe in hotel, and valet parking worked well. Huge room and silent.

Breakfast was included, but there is no usual buffet, but needed to wait order from a la carte. For us it took 45 minutes to get food for breakfast! 20 minutes wait to place order, then additional 25 to get order (omelet)! While it was very huge breakfast meal (way too big for us), it is way too slow for breakfast, and it was not crowded!
