Location, excellent breakfast, modern interior!

When we came to our room, my room didn t check with housekeeper and it was dirty with some things on the bed! We informed staff and they remove to another room! In new room there was also some part dirty, we don t like to remove third time to new room and we told lady on reception that she knows and show pictures of these! She only apologise for us! Not proffesional! Manag

The room was very spacious, with comfortable beds. The location of the property was perfect, very central and close to many restaurants, stores and points of interest. The hotel looks recently refurbished and the amenities are great. Srdajn from the reception was extremely helpful and kind, unlike the rest of the staff. He had a very positive impact on our stay.

Breakfast options and organisation needs improvements. The rooms are quite hot (even for winter standards, we experienced nearly 30C in the room). The staff in general (except the receptionist mentioned above) must go through a solid training - They are not much paying attention to the guests, chitchatting with each other and all-in-all they make you feel guilty to bother them.

The hotel beautifully blends its historical texture with modern design and elegant decoration. The comfort of the rooms and our room's view were wonderful. After exploring the city, we enjoyed a tea and coffee break at the 1860 Balkan Restaurant in our hotel, and then continued our city tour. In fact, my family wanted us to have dinner at the hotel one evening. The staff's attention and friendliness were exceptional.The breakfast was quite sufficient.The tourist attractions were within walking distance. Everything was delightful.

There were shoe stains in some areas of the carpets in the rooms.

Hotel Balkan for me is super fantanstic! It is comfortable, cozy, and inviting—like home. I stayed for 5 nights and I was extremely satisfied of their service and warm hospitality. I did not quite get the name of the lady at the front desk the day I checked in, but she was super nice and very much approachable (special thanks to you). She showed me around while I was just chilling and taking some pictures. The interior design was admirable and beautiful! By the way I loved the scent at the reception lobby. I feel like staying all the time😊 Great location and super clean. The breakfast was great as well. My thumbs are up, higly recommended.👍👍👍

Location is perfect, close to everything, in the centre. The hotel interior is amazing, so clean and nicely decorated, attention to detail is excellent. Staff is very helpful and kind. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come again.

There was some noise on the street due to the road work, otherwise in regards of the hotel, everything was excellent.

I love the location, just the start of pedestrian street. It is the authentic building with modern facilities inside. Comfortable beds and perfect restaurant.

Every time we come no chance to get the parking, there are only 3 free places belonging to the hotel, luckily the big public parking is one minute walk. But the second time we come, the second time the receptionists are not welcoming regardless the language you speak, always feel like I did something wrong, they are not willing to assist with the taxi, parking, payments. At the same time the woman who was checking us out was really nice, invited back and wished a good way.

The hotel is nice and clean, one can see, that attention to detail was paid there. The materials in the room and around are of high quality. This gives a very good impression. The lobby and dining space is really large, yet not having a "hall-like" feeling. Buffet breakfast was good, continental. Close to the city centre and a parking garage nearby.

My room had a window, yet this was not looking anywhere but a narrow corridor like tunnel with a AC unit inside and exhausts from bathroom fans. This tunnel ended in a grid secured opening to the street. No light whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was located in a relatively small room and one had to walk a few stairs to get into the nice dining area. Elderly or handicapped people would have a hard time accessing the buffet. We were getting conflicting information from various receptionists about the parking in front of the hotel.

Breakfast was good. all you would expect really.. not above and beyond but certainly not below par. Thank You was very nourishing and well presented and warm foods cooked as they should be. Overall an above average dining experience.

for the location and the price per room compared to hotel over the road and some more lavish ones down the road that i have stayed at.. so i can compare honestly.. there is NOTHING i didnt like! The value for money for me was i got my bang for my buck as they say.

Absolutely perfect location right on the main street in Belgrade. It very convenient as the main attractions, restaurants, stores are right in the walking distance from the hotel. Hotel is situated on the hilly side and therefore the views from the widows are panoramic. The double room is very comfortable , it has a large bed and walk-in shower. The room looks modern and everything is brand new as hotel opened recently. For the perfect comfort I do recommend to book a double room (previously I have booked a single room and that was too small with a small bad and no view). Also, this hotel has a nice reception area , well decorated restaurant and terrace.

I didn’t like breakfast. It was absolutely not matching the level of hotel. Food was tasteless and the service during breakfast was on very low level. Example , the lady that was cleaning tables wiped crumbles from the table next to me right on the floor and was throwing leftovers from other tables in a garbage bin right afront of other people that were eating there. I have stayed there 2 days and even decided to go for a breakfast to another hotel. I also noticed that hotel staff is not greeting guests, saying hello or good morning fist, which is actually strange and gives you a bit uncomfortable feeling.

Amazing location just right next to the main square. Wonderful property. Well maintained (there were minor issue but ignorable). Beautiful interior. My kids, loved the candy at the reception too.

1. I believe same as most other reviewers - their breakfast. Options were limited, sometimes cutlery were missing and also weird location. To our surprise out of the 4 nights we stayed, 1 day our experience was very nice, they even served us eggs & Coffee the way we wanted, etc. Made us conclude that if they want they can make the experience much better. 2. More of a suggestion than my dislike -> There are few steps to the lobby area and then few steps to the lobby. If you can also add a ramp, that would help customers with the luggage.
