This is our second experience with this exact property -as we loved the location and staff the 1st time we've been there. During our 2nd visit my spouse got an impatient back pain and the help and support of the whole hotel team allowed us to take off back to the US in time. We are very grateful and definitely choose Opera Garni next time

There could be more towels and they could be more white.

As a solo female traveler, I highly recommend this hotel and I felt safe. The location is perfect, it's right next to the Republic Square. You'll find historical places, restaurants and markets nearby. You can also go shopping at Knez Mihailova Street as it's also close. I offer my special thanks to Filip, the kindest and most helpful person I've ever met. He's the best receptionist ever, helped me with tourist attractions, made great recommendations and catered to my needs like booking a taxi. I liked the breakfast buffet, it's more than enough. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. AC works perfectly. On-site bar has amazing craft beers, delicious food and friendly staff.

The property has a great location, very nice and helpful staff, and quite big rooms, not the boxes))

I would suggest to make some shelves in the bathroom for the cosmetic bag. It was quite unusual and not very comfortable.

A few tips for breakfast improvement: ie the yellow cereal ( plain ones) were probably out of date, as they were not chewable at all. Only full fat milk was available, which is not appropriate for people like me that cannot digest it. I asked the ladies if they had coco/soya/ almond even low fat but there was nothing available. Maybe the person in charge of the breakfast menu can look into improving it. HOWEVER, i would like to strongly congradulate and praise every single lady working at the breakfast area, for the spotless and rapid cleaning of each table, right after each client left their table!

Staffs were good

The hotel is located in the city center, which may not be ideal for those seeking a quiet and relaxing stay, as the sound of traffic is constant. During our visit, there was also an ongoing protest, adding to the noise. One of the most frustrating aspects was the lack of an elevator. We had to carry our heavy luggage up to the first floor ourselves, and at times, only female staff members were present, leaving us with no choice but to manage on our own. Additionally, the hotel is quite old and has poor lighting. When we first entered the first-floor lobby, it was very dim, with lights turning on only in specific areas based on movement. This made the space feel eerie, and my wife and children were quite scared.

perfect location. perfect emplooyes. Good breakfast. Every body speaks clear and very good english. Also they speak some langueges like Turkish, Russian etc. Breakfast was pretty good. Best thing for me was they gave me map of city which is contains all the touristic places, bus and train stations and routes. You can walk almost 80% -90% of the touristic places. If you ask to front desk they will also give you some recommendations like where to eat or where to hangout. its 1.2 km far from main bus station and 15 min with drive to airport. Pretty close to republic square and so on. I'm pretty sure that i will be back again.

At the breakfast the food gets cold fast - even if you come at 7:30 it’s likely that it’s not hot anymore. The space looks too small for that many tables. They are also very frugal with napkins - I spent some time trying to locate them and found a stack of maybe 5-7. The last but not the least, there was a tip box in the breakfast section. That created not very good impression. Overall, the breakfast was acceptable, but could be much better.

When we had a health problem for our baby, the lady at the reception Ms.Radinovic kindly helped us about the clinics that are open during the weekend and guided us until we arrive the clinic. This is important because we were abroad and we didn't know which way to go, especially in a non-English speaking country. Next time we want to come to Belgrade, we will choose Hotel Opera again.

The room was clean and modern. It was close to the city center - walking distance. The room was a bit small but for a few nights stay it’s not a problem. Towels, bath robes and toiletries were available in the room.

The breakfast is not like in the pictures. It was good and you had choices but we expected something better based on the pictures displayed on booking. Some of the breakfast items were only available until 9-9:30 AM, and when they were finished, they didn’t replace them, even though breakfast lasts until 11AM on the weekends. The heating wasn’t working properly in our room. When we arrived the room temperature was 23 C, then we went out and when we came back was already at 22 C. You had a thermostat available so I set it on 24 C, but it didn’t work during the night. It got pretty chilly through the night, probably around 20 C. If you’re used to these sleeping temperatures, then it’s ok. But for me it was too cold, and very inconvenient that the thermostat didn’t work.
