Location is at the foot of the square. 15 min walk to the fortress but you will walking along the pedestrian street. so lots of cafe and restaurants to eat. Tamara was the most helpful person I encountered in Belgrade and a model what a reception host should be. The single room I liked and I can tell it's a bit modern/new and all in very good condition. The carpet in room and hallway is on a thin side but again all is very good. I did reserve the sauna (opens 9am-9pm). Note to all, bring your shorts as this is mixed gender sauna. There are also showers and small locker room to change.

Everything was very nice and clean

We had a small situation where we couldn’t locate the switch to turn off 1 light in the entrance of the room. The night shift staff wasn’t able to help us because she couldn’t find it either. We had to go the first night with a light on which was annoying. The next day the morning shift staff was able to help and his reason that his colleagues couldn’t help us was that she was “new”. It wasn’t a major issue but all staff (especially when they’re left alone) should be able to help with the basics of the room.

The hotel is perfectly located on Republic Square, just a short walk from the fortress and surrounded by pedestrian streets filled with cafes and restaurants. We stayed here during our trip to Belgrade for the Guns N' Roses concert, and this hotel was an excellent choice. The staff is exceptionally friendly and professional. The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. Parking is conveniently located nearby, and the overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

The only little downside was that the toilet wasn’t fully clean when we first entered the room.

Very clean hotel, nice decorated in a very good location, in the heart of the city. Nice rooms, big enough, very clean and confortable. Nice breafkast, not very divers but good quality, served in an elegant restaurant. A plus for the parking space (included in the room rate) even its not connected to the hotel but few minutes walking outside. But at least it exists and offered for the guests. I recommend the hotel for a short/mediun stay.

The front desk staff was exceptional, especially Nevena being a beginner she was perfect. Jelena and Tamara were equally amazing and helpful, all these 3 were my guides for my whole trip. Get in touch with these ladies when you are there at the hotel and they are the preferred t hostess. I enjoyed the stay and my next trip to Belgrade I might choose Hotel central 1 mainly because of these staff.

Along with lot of positives there are some not so good things here, like the cleaning staff isn't efficient, my kettle was dirty, the breakfast is same everyday and it's kinda annoying if you stay there more than 1 day. Hope hotel improves on these areas then I am surely in for next time

The location was excellent. Location, location, location. I was also very happy with the attitude of the receptionist who was present during our check-in: she was extremely helpful and very nice. She supported us during the whole stay: she was able to leave SPA (which is another advantage of this hotel) opened for us even after the official closure time and pro-actively brought us towels/iron when needed.

I was surprised that hotel was not able to provide me with the shaving kit. They also did not clean the room on one day of the stay even though they were in the room (they knew about the consumed articles from minibar of that day). It was also unusual that the reception was not able to order a taxi for us: not only they do not order taxi in advance for the specific time, but taxi companies were not responding to their calls when we needed the taxi and were ready to leave.

The location was excellent and the hotel itself was very comfortable. We would have preferred parquet to fitted carpet which looked a little dated but the staff at reception and breakfast were very helpful and courteous. .

Even though the cleaning staff were prompt and the room was cleaned every day , not enough attention was put in the cleaning we found. For instance empty shower gels were left on the floor, the bed wasn’t properly made and the carpet wasn’t vacuumed as far as we could see. The towels had definitely seen better days. Despite these shortcomings we had a great time at this hotel and in the lovely city of Belgrade.

The room and the bathroom are spacious and really nice looking, the location is perfect, close to everything. Bathrobes and slippers provided.

The only thing is that for a hotel of such quality it's a shame there ,is no shelf in the shower. No place to put the shampoo/shower gel. The previous occupant had put the bottle on top of the shower head, and when I adjusted the shower, that bottle fell and hit me :) A small shelf would be awesome. Also there is a coffee maker in the room but the coffee capsules were not provided, only tea bags...:(

Beautiful hotel directly in the city center - location could not be better. Staff was friendly - hotel looks like the pictures. Bathroom in particular was done very well - great lighting. Overall very nice design.

Unfortunately on the second floor I could hear quite a bit from the street, as well as some of the rooms around me. There was clicking noises coming from the vent that were distracting when trying to sleep. The worst part however was the bed - I stayed in a room with two twin beds as it was just one night so didn't matter - and found both to be very uncomfortable. Both beds had a dip in the middle from usage, so getting comfortable was tough - I also found all of the pillows to be too soft, although that is a personal preference as some might love this. If I were there longer than one night would have requested better pillows - and hopefully the beds in my room are not representative of all in the hotel - as everything else was great.

Th staff were very friendly especially those in the reception area. Breakfast was tasty with good mix of foodstuffs.The location is ideal for seeing the city centre area and that was my main reason for returning to this hotel. I also appreciate the quietness of the rooms in such a vibrant part of the city. The beds are also extremely comfortable. And the ability to make tea or coffee in your room is also welcome. It is a place where you can feel relaxed and at ease.

There appeared to be a shortage of domestic staff, so I felt that there were times when room cleaning could have been more thorough. The hotel might benefit from a bigger lobby area, as the current one is very small.
