On arrival, we found a friendly and informed welcome, in fact all the staff we had the pleasure to meet were very personable, efficient, took pride in their work and seemed intent on making our stay the very best experience possible. Set in pretty countryside, away from the regular hustle and bustle, the hotel and restaurant were arranged around a quiet courtyard area set out with several outdoor tables and chairs. To the front of the hotel there was a large, open car parking area. Our room was upstairs at the end of a carpeted corridor. It was well presented with traditional and attractive soft furnishings. Attention had been paid to detail with Velux windows incorporated into the sloping ceiling of the bedroom that overlooked the courtyard. A large ceiling fan was a welcome addition and we found it necessary to circulate cooler air during the particularly warm weather. The room was very clean and contained everything we needed. The kettle and hot drinks selection, including small packets of tasty biscuits, fresh milk as an alternative option to the UHT sachets, and 2 bottles of water, were much appreciated and really thoughtful touches . The modern bathroom had stylish lighting, quality ceramics and fittings, a shower and part glass screen over the deep bath, and plenty of hot water. The towels and bathrobes were all quality goods as were the branded toiletries and paper products. The restaurant was located across the courtyard with a variety of wooden tables and upholstered tub chairs. The dining area was spaciously set out and tables were laid with slate place mats, cutlery, cloth napkins and glassware. The comprehensive menu offered a selection of courses that were freshly cooked to order. The full English breakfast was piping hot, very tasty and cooked to perfection. The chef was very attentive. All in all this small but special hotel was appealing throughout, it was so tranquil and offered the most relaxing experience anyone could ask for.
Nothing of any significance

It was a beautiful hotel in a lovely country setting. On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The bathroom was done to a high standard and they provided the most amazing shower and hair products to use. We ate breakfast in the restaurant and again it was decorated to a high standard and the staff were very friendly and the food was amazing.
The only downside was that the heating couldn't be turned down in the room and it made it a little uncomfortable to sleep in the heat.

Friendly staff, comfy bed and brilliant breakfast choices, very good value. The toiletries were really good, they smelled amazing. There was nothing cheap about the place. They even use Kleenex tissues on the dresser. The room was refreshed each day, and it was nice to come back to a tidy room. The place is restful and peaceful. I imagine it's even better in the summer. We did not get a chance to explore as the weather was terrible. But it was just the right location for our needs on this visit, When we got back at night after our family and friends visits it was just what we needed, a great place to rest and relax, ready for our next visit.
The shower was not the best. The water pressure was poor. We were in the disabled room, and I was disappointed about not having a bath - I'd read that all the rooms had a bath. I would have liked to have a soak whilst drinking wine, eating fruit and chocolates. They offer a reasonably priced experience.

Lovely independent hotel & restaurant in a small village near Grimsby/ Cleethorpes( 15-20 minutes by car).plenty of local walk’s recommended .Stayed in “ Ravendale” room for 2 nights which was beautifully furnished and spacious with good quality toiletries. Staff were cheerful and helpful, making you feel welcome. Restaurant: food was very tasty and portions were plentiful. Breakfast: good choice of hot food
Nothing really, would have liked better choice of fruit/ Greek yogurt etc for continental breakfast

The hotel was in a rural location set on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB. It was peaceful with nice local walks. We used it as a stop-over on our way back from Scotland to Norfolk, so it wasn't difficult to get to from the M180. The bistro restaurant was good with a nice menu and wine list, breakfast was also tasty.
Not a major issue. Although it was May, the radiator wouldn't switch off in our room (making it very warm), but the staff were quick to attend to this and I'm sure it will be resolved permanently.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hall Farm Hotel. The location was exactly what we were after, peaceful, away from the hustle of everyday life and being surrounded with nature. As soon as we entered the hotel, we noticed how clean it was with ample parking spaces and were welcomed with a friendly smile but unfortunately were unable to get the ladies name. She greeted us and even offered to take us to our room. Our room was easily accessible and the hotel have leaflets and maps of things to do around the area. These are kept in the reception/check in area. We had a 4 poster bed, which I must say was VERY comfortable. The room was very clean, with lots of storage space, two comfortable chairs to sit on and it had a a lovely large bathroom that has toiletries and towels provided. We had dinner at the restaurant on our first night which was exceptional. Such beautiful flavours and a good variety on the menu. The portion was really good too with friendly staff working in the restaurant. I've added some pictures to my review. Breakfast was included in our stay and the chef was very friendly, inviting and cooked us a beautiful breakfast choice all 3 mornings. I couldn't help but choose the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and he did the scrambled eggs perfectly every time. Sorry we never took your name but thank you for being so welcoming. There is a menu where you can choose what you'd like and we loved that there were also cereals, juices and croissants available to help ourselves. There are options to go for walks around the area ranging from 8 to 10 miles. But we decided to just walk around Hall Farm Hotel and the beautiful greenery that surrounds the hotel. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and really enjoyed going for walks only hearing the noises of birds, so peaceful!
We loved everything and wish we could've stay a night longer :)

the staff were on the most part very good, certainly they were able to cater for our non alcoholic request for bubbly in the room which is not listed on menus etc. The bath treat menu was very nice as it was our anniversary and again the hotel catered for our non alcoholic request (though this was not a listed option) The restaurant food was wonderful, though the cooked breakfast option seemed a little small. Loved the his and hers bath and four poster bed.
the room (s) were lacking a nice view, only really seeing into a public courtyard, not very attractive, but I admit I doubt much could be done to improve it. Though the bed seemed very comfortable, my wife and I woke both morning with back ache, honestly not sure if that was the bed or just us, but we dont get the same at home. I would recommend having a non alcoholic option included on the bath time menu rather than guests having to make special requests for it. also as the bath is big enough for two, I'd recommend either a longer non slip bath mat or two.

the restaurant was very convenient and the food was delicious as well as being reasonably priced. the Sunday roast was super and very good value. the breakfast was good and felt special as we were the only ones there at the time. I appreciated being forewarned there was a wedding at the venue on one night, which didn't intrude. the option of fresh milk with tea/coffee was a lovely touch. i was also impressed by the quality of the fire doors and other safety systems in place

The room was lovely and the evening meal was very good. The staff were helpful and accommodating
I do understand that if numbers are low its difficult to justify having a receptionist but having to call the bar every time was slightly annoying and felt like you were inconveniencing someone who should be taking food orders or working in the bar. That said they always came over immediately - not sure if that would be the case if the restaurant was busier

This place is a hidden gem, with many more hidden gems inside. The team are incredible, they are attentive yet not intrusive. Food is first class, both breakfast and dinner were exceptional. Prices are fair and when compared with the quality the value is fantastic. A long time since I saw a hotel/restaurant that was run this well.
If I have to complain, the mattress was not as firm as I like.
