We loved our stay at Guesthouse Mars. The restaurant was fantastic, with the staff being so friendly and helpful. The room was a great size, and it was very clean. It was only a few minutes' drive from the centre of Ljubljana and the highway, so the location was perfect. We especially loved the family of cats and kittens that made their home on the terrace outside! We would definitely stay here again.

The mini fridge in the bedroom didn't keep anything cool, so we didn't use it. Everything else was great.

We had a really awesome stay at Guesthouse Mars. Location is perfect to explore the country, we took trip to Bled, Bohinj, Ljubjana. Rooms were clean and cozy, beds are comfortable. Food is tasty at the restaurant, draft beer of the house is great. Special thanks to the staff who were kind to us, especially to Marsa and to one of the cleaning lady who helped us to get breakfast in time.

Just a recommendation to better organize the breakfast process.

The location was nice and very convenient to go to Ljubljana. The room was clean and tidy with a nice view. It’s very convenient to have a restaurant in the place with typical Slovenian dishes. The staff was very amazing and their kindness was legendary particularly Maśa (Masha) which is a wonderful and very kind person, always here to help, funny and we had nice discussions with her.

Good location, short drive to Ljubljana. Comfortable beds, everything was very clean and neat. Air-conditioning was life-saving. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant downstairs has a very nice atmosphere. We had really nice breakfast there. Everything was just perfect.

Nice accommodation close to Ljubljana; we had a very nice view from the balcony from our room; parking was easy and it take around 15 minutes to the downtown of Ljubljana. It was a good choice for one night.

The room was very small and the ceiling height was very low; the sound isolation between the rooms was not very good.; the frigde in the room was not cooling.

We arrived pretty late after a long drive, and the personnel was very friendly. They brought us the vitamin water battles, which felt like a perfect gift after a long day. The room was small but clean, it had everything we needed — a comfortable bed, TV, and kitchen. The restaurant is lovely with delicious food, we tried breakfast there, and it was fantastic. They also bake bread and serve it with jam and butter. It's warm, right from the oven. The guest house is in an excellent quiet location in the countryside but close to autobahns and the capital.

The shower was flooding the whole bathroom floor right away, it was difficult to keep it dry.

Personnel kindness, position of accommodation, quiet surroundings, cleanliness of the room and balcony. We overnight during a long trip, maybe long time staying can improve general impressions.

Refrigerator and TV malfunction or our lack of ability (for TV set) or being the hottest August day (for refrigerator). Nothing very important for a single night.

Great stopover for us, lovely views, really great staff who went out of their way to make sure we ate a decent breakfast (we are vegan and the chef made us fresh bread and veggies) :) The hotel is clean The parking was easy and just outside the property

It was a little noisy (thin walls) but nothing some decent ear buds didn’t solve :)

15 minutes from the center of Ljubljana by car in a quiet village. Cozy, well equipped and clean accommodation with extremely kind and helpful host. Parking is easy and free. The restaurant is excellent. I'm sure we will return.

Everything about this stay was pleasant! The room is comfortable and exactly as it is on the pictures. The balcony has a nice view and a quiet place to set down and enjoy your coffee. The staff are very nice and helpful. The owner of the place is a nice gentleman, we asked to meet him and he was downstairs in a minute and we had a lovely chat. The restaurant downstairs makes the stay extra special with great food options, indoor seating area with a fire place and an outdoor seating area. The breakfast is great too. The location is great, 15 minutes from Ljubljana city center and in a quiet little town with the mountains in the background. No traffic to deal with. We loved everything about this stay and we will be coming back in the future with our kids!
