I really enjoyed my stay at Holly Lodge. I had the Garden Suite which had multiple windows with plants outside each one, this really created a feeling of being on a break from life in the City! Steve the owner/manager was extremely friendly and helpful even giving me a lift to my friend's wedding very close by since I didn't have a car and the roads do not have footpaths! The room had everything I needed. Most importantly the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower was also very powerful. Everything was very clean. It was great to have a kitchen area with fridge, microwave, kitchenware and cutlery. Great heater as well since the evenings had started to get cold. Block out blinds made the room very dark which was great for a good night's sleep!

Only negative was no streaming services on the TV only Foxtel. I ended up just watching TV on my phone.

Incredible location with many natural trails to explore within walking distance. Access to viewpoints and towns is also convenient via public transport, with only a 10 minute walk to the closest stop. The lodge itself was extremely well maintained, with generous breakfast supplies, and a cozy environment. Steve was very informative and kind as well. We stayed in the Garden Suite, which was ideal for a small weekend getaway. I would recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of life, whether you are single, a couple, family, or friends. The ideal peaceful place to breathe the fresh mountain air.

The balcony villa was absolutely beautiful. The views were stunning! The staff were lovely and accommodating. The rooms were extremely clean. The kitchen was well equipped, the rain shower head was awesome and the bed was SO comfortable. The lodge is a gorgeous building with beautifully landscaped gardens descending down the valley. The upper balcony and private hot tub sits surrounded by giant gums and other trees,, putting you near eye level with the amazing birds in the area. A kookaburra joined us on the balcony as we ate breakfast. This place is absolutely perfect if you're looking to get away as a couple or with a friend and you are after a location where the only noises you can hear are the local wildlife and the wind. Perfect place to unwind!

There was honestly nothing to fault. We had a great stay!

The area is beautiful and quiet, which is why we stayed here. To get away from the busy and loud lives we lead. It was definitely what we needed. I loved waking up near a forest to the sound of birds. 👌

We were up in arms about whether to bring our dogs, as this is a pet friendly place. In the end, we didn't and were glad as this particular (honeymoon) suite would have been a little cramped if we had. However, I did get a look at 1 of the other suites it was a lot more roomy and probably would have worked.

The lodge and its grounds were amazing! Kalorama is a gorgeous location, we can’t wait to go back again

The booking.com link and description wasn’t clear regarding which photos go with what room. Therefore we accidentally booked the smallest room of the facility. A more clear description would be ideal

Really enjoyed our stay at Holly Lodge. Beautiful location in the mountains, cozy and well set up. Loved the heated spa on the balcony and appreciated the electric blankets. Dog-friendly, with nice breakfast supplies provided. Steve was a great host, very accommodating — would happily stay again.

Top quality furnishings, utilities, and decor as part of a stately house in beautiful gardens with a magnificent view through a forest and overlooking rich farmland to the horizon. An excellent location. Ample breakfast food stuffs. Gracious hosts. This lodge could be featured in an edition of Homes and Gardens

The space was small but adequate.. Lovely gardens and good space for dog on lead.

Access for elderly carrying luggage was a bit of a hazard . Cupboards too high for short people. Space was a bit tight . would be more ideal for one adult and maybe one dog.

Smallish B&B rooms with en-suite facilities. Very comfortable. Good aircon and heating with blinds if you wanted a sleep in. Breakfast provisions supplied if you booked the B&B option. Bacon, Eggs, bread, butter etc. Very generous.

Not Much. Enjoyed the stay and would go back. Kitchen a little cramped.

The breakfast was great - really enjoyed having the food there for the morning. It was lovely and they provided everything you might need like coffee, juices, eggs, bacon, pancake mix!

The only thing I didn’t like was that the tv wasn’t smart - it would be great to hook up Netflix to it!
