The location of the hotel was a short taxi ride from the airport. Another option is to take the number 8 bus from the airport to the local bus depot and catch the local bus to the hotel. It is quick, efficient and only costs about 1-2 Euro. The room was clean and very well appointed with a small fridge, kettle in the breakfast room/reception. For those who enjoy coffee there was a coffee machine in the room. I was travelling in summer so appreciated the air-conditioning as well. The owner was very kind and helpful and contactable at all hours via WhatsApp which was also appreciated given i had a late check in. Also the train from the airport into central Rome cost about 14 Euro so was quicker and cheaper than taking a taxi.

We had a wonderful stay in Fiumicino! The place was very clean, in a peaceful location, just a short walk from the sea. There are plenty of diverse restaurants nearby, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our host, Mr. Stefano, was incredibly kind and helpful with everything we needed. We truly appreciated the hospitality and would love to come back. Highly recommended! We already miss having our coffee on the balcony, it was the perfect way to start the day.

Stefano was very helpful and friendly. On leaving, he organized a taxi to collect us for the airport. The facilities had shared kitchen facilities and basic food available for breakfast or for snacking. Rooms were very clean and had a fridge plus coffee/tea. The balcony as very spacious and comfortable. There was a local bar around the corner plus nice local eating spots near by.

This was the perfect location for a quick stay during an overnight layover. Super close to the airport, and the owner helped set up a taxi to pick me up and drop me back off at the airport the next morning. I loved having an air conditioner after a few days without one, and was able to take a hot shower and relax. I wish I had more time to stay and explore the area as it looks like a cute beach town.

I don't have anything bad to say about this stay, it was perfect for what I needed!

The room was very spacious and we love the balcony. The place was clean. We were provided with breakfast. Stefano was very nice, friendly and helpful, he guided us well where to go. He welcomed us and let us in 2 hours before check in time.

It was far from city center. Far from public transport. Taxi fare was very expensive.

Wonderful host. I would stay here again just because he was so wonderful and proud of his little inn. Located in the middle of a neighborhood apartment building. The place is incredibly clean and comfortable. Our room had a nice view over the back yard. The host has so many thoughtful accommodations for you, and there are couple of restaurants within walking distance. Also, the host has a strong relationship with a taxi service that can get you back and forth to the airport at a reasonable price. Don't wait in the crazy taxi line at the airport. Rush hour can be hectic and delay your commute. Airport taxi services will overcharge to get you to the inn (we made that mistake). Other than that, it was a great stay overall. Enjoy!

The 3 Euro city tax you have to pay in cash when you check in, caught us off guard. Be prepared with some coins. One of the challenges I discovered, was that everyone in Italy uses WhatsApp exclusively. I don't typically use it, so it was a little frustrating to communicate for check in. The other part of the problem was that I was using an Italian chip in my phone. So my number was not the same as registered with WhatsApp. A lot of lessons were learned for the future: don't use airport taxis, always have cash, use WhatsApp, and figure out your phone number (these were all my problems; nothing to do with the actual stay).

It was a spontaneous vacation for several days. I have never been to Fiumicino before. Hotel was really nice, the owner told me how to get there and met me, gave me all the instructions (the lad was instructing me for good 30 min)))), the place was nice, clean, quite, 3 other neighbouring numbers. Water, tea, coffee, yogurt, cookies were provided.

20 min walk to the sea.

Stefano was incredible. Doesn't speak much English but we were able to communicate. Greeted us with a smile, carried luggage upstairs for us and provided recommendations for local places to eat. The balcony to sit on outside the room was incredible and a very pleasant surprise.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

Stefano and his wife are the highlight of this property so kind and accomodating! The location to the airport is also very convenient as we had an early departure flight after this short stop over in Rome. The pizza shop right across the road from the property was very handy and lovely staff. For the price I think Stefano’s property was very reasonable.

A shuttle service would have been a bonus since I think many travellers use the accomodation for its location close to the airport. Finding taxis from Rome airport is chaotic!

STEFANO the guy who runs this place is a prince! A fantastic fellow. Long story short, I found myself at a restaurant with no cash and due to miscommunication thought they took AMEX but they didn’t. I had to go to an ATM at night to get a cash advance from AMEX and the excellent and hospitable STEFANO drove me there and gave me a tour of the beach along the way. He came from his home to picked me up. This dude has soul. The guest house (it is not really a hotel) is in a regular working /middle-class neighborhood, you feel like you have escaped the tourist trail. In the corner is a nice little pizzeria run by equally good people. The guest house is not far from the airport but not particularly close either however it feels off the beaten path. You feel that for a day or two you were part of our real neighborhood in a solid working class section of greater Rome. It’s great.
