Schiedam is a quiet suburb of Rotterdam and very convenient for us for travelling by bike to the Ahoy centre. The room was comfortable and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a slightly quirky mix of continental and Asian interpretation of an English breakfast but very adequate.

We thought that the hospitality trays in the room should have been replenished daily. Having to pay for secure bike storage - we left ours in the bike stands opposite the hotel which seemed safe enough. A bit pricey.

I usually stay at the Delta in Vlaardingen when on business in Rotterdam, but it was full on this occasion so I was forced to try somewhere else, and went with this place on the basis of the ratings. Friendly staff, big room (if a bit sparse), looks like it's been recently modernised. Breakfast was an OK buffet, nothing special but good enough. Evening Asian menu was excellent, and very good value.

Bit of road noise even up in the 3rd floor. Skylight only in room, so no view. Garage parking not so easy to find at the back of the building and involved calling reception so I saved myself the money and just parked in their courtyard.

Very recently converted so everything fresh and clean. Great location for a short cycle ride to the ferry at Hook of Holland. Staff very courteous and helpful. Good Asian restaurant on site.

Whilst the cycle storage in the basement garage is very secure, we did have to pay €3 per bike. Whilst this is not a lot, we have never paid to store bicycles anywhere else in The Netherlands, and we have been cycling there for over 20 years.

We booked the hotel on the same day as we had another hotel booked which was a disaster and we could not spend the night in and so we booked this hotel in just 5 minutes. We had a 25 minutes walk with luggages. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only problem is that restaurant was not open and was a problem finding somewhere else to eat at that time. The area is very nice and quite. Only problem is that it was far from everywhere but still a ice experience.

The only thing we did not like is that it was far from everything. Especially when it was raining we had a long walk to get the metro.

Parking was secure and good (bookable), walking distance to old Shiedam area, excellent breakfast and the restaurant was good and very reasonably priced for a hotel . Staff were helpful

Lighting in one room was very dim and room was organised wrongly in the sloping roof reducing space. Bed should be under the low area. One fridge room 305 , 306 (bigger room) didn't work

Very spacious great value for money would 100% recommend to stay over. Good facilities, very clean and friendly staff!

We were travelling with a wheelchair user and the hotel does not have a ramp to accommodate for this. During the day the staff were very helpful and opened the back door but at night there was no one to open the door and we had to take the front steps to enter the hotel. Needless to say my dad and my sister (in a wheelchair) slipped on the stairs and both unfortunately got hurt as they fell.

Large and beautiful room. Kitchen in the room for those who want to cook something quick. Comfortable bed with a good mattress. Lots of light and views from the windows.. I really liked it.. Thank you

There was no cutlery. The drawers were completely empty. Only two capsules for the coffee machine. Otherwise, everything was fine )

The hotel looks newly built/refurbished & is immaculately clean & tidy. Our room was nicely furnished & very comfortable. The area is very quiet & there is free parking available directly outside the hotel.

Unfortunately the bar & restaurant were closed & there are no restaurants nearby. Despite putting a sign on the bedroom door the cleaners still came in & partially cleaned the room.

Big and clean rooms with coffee and tea ,big and beautiful place for eating also some live music at the evening .Area around hotel is calm and pretty .

a little bit far from the centre but you get the silence with this in your room :) That’s good for recover after long day

The rooms are big So much space. It's like an apartment. It's clean.

The breakfast could be more. It would be nice to have some fruits. And more options for bread and musli. Reception opens at 9 the earliest.
