My wife and I have celebrated several of our anniversaries at this hotel. We love the location because we love staying on the boardwalk. The size of the room was a plus. The 3-headed shower was a bonus that we liked. The parking situation is ok. If you leave and come back to the hotel after 8pm, it's likely that you will have to park in the overflow. I am appreciative that the overflow is across the street.

I think the cost of the hotel during the off months is still a bit high. There was no federal workers nor veteran discounts offered. The television programs offered on your Comcast cable are not that good. It is very limited.

Breakfast was tasty. Kids ate. I did not.

Omg. The service was sooooooooo slow and zero accommodations or flexibility with the menu! Even though items were listed on the menu you couldn’t get them! No substitutions! Not even a side Caesar in place of a starch/veggie. And even though salmon was on the menu…you couldn’t get it on a salad. Weird. Breakfast was the same way so I didn’t eat breakfast. And kids eat free is bogus. We didn’t get a free meal even though 2 main entrees were ordered. Still had to pay full price! And the restaurant is next to the indoor pool so all you smell is chlorine while you’re eating!!

The suite was great. A separate living room with table for eating too, a full kitchen with a keurig, a full bath with jacuzzi tub, a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a wonderful balcony with a great ocean view

I would have preferred a typical hotel breakfast where we serve ourselves instead of a restaurant with vouchers. The choices were limited for a picky 12 year old kid. Also the pool is "in" the restaurant; divided by a glass wall, plants and tables but was just "odd". A hot tub would've been nice. Also we were too early for the outside pools to be open

The room was very spacious with ample furnishings and kitchen implements. The location was very convenient to the beach. The balcony furniture was clean. The beds were just firm enough and the bed covers were very comfortable. All staff was friendly and helpful.

The lighting was a underwhelming and sometimes the switches were hard to get to. The balcony view required looking beyond the pool -- in the summer, that's probably not a negative but in the winter, with the pool closed, it is unattractive. The indoor pool was very popular with the kids (not mine) so we did not venture into it. Also, it was very odd to have the pool right next to the restaurant.

I’ve been coming to OC for about 40 years and stayed in many hotels there. I also travel a lot for my work and specifically know to always inspect what you expect. When I booked my room the IGH website wouldn’t allow me to book for the whole weeks stay. So I booked with a third party site. I called the hotel and they were more than happy to assist me. When I arrived the room I had requested had not been vacated yet so they put me in a corner suite with city view. As soon as the ocean front room became available they swiftly moved me and the room was great! Thank you for the service! Can’t wait until my next visit there.

We were thrilled with this hotel! From the moment we entered the hotel and checked in, until the time we left, we were pleased wherever we went. Our room was expansive, comfortable, convenient and what a view! That balcony was wonderful. We especially want to shout out to Carl at the reception desk for his warm friendly attitude, and willingness to help with any issue, day or night!

We like how the room was set up minus small details. We appreciated that we had windows and a balcony in our room and the full kitchen was a plus. We like how close we where to boardwalk and breach.

The Tv and mirrors was streaked from cleaning products which interfered with viewing. I can see how this can be overlooked however, the vents and ceiling fan needed dusting. I found myself tripping over the doorstop in the bedroom that protected the door from hitting the closet mirror.

Perfect location on the sand and boardwalk. Food is fantastic and staff helpful and friendly. Updates to rooms were much needed and nice overall.

Hot tub outside was not working during our stay. A/c in the room wasn’t working - stuck on cold, burrr. Maintenance was prompt to amend but then it happened again.

Great location. Outdoor pools were great. Room size was great. Balcony with screen door was great.

Indoor pool was in back of the on-site restaurant with only a half plastic partition. Very creepy and uncomfortable location. This wasn’t a poolside restaurant so the vibe was not working. Maid service was lacking, standard things that should have been cleaned didn’t get cleaned. Front desk lacked in giving information when checking in.

The location on boardwalk. The outdoor setup with whirlpool, little lazy river and slides in pool for the kids. Breakfast was great in hotel. Staff was very kind and accommodating!

At nighttime it can be hard to find parking right under or in immediate hotel area. Probably more due to people violating the one vehicle per room rule. If you went out at night you might have to park across the block at auxiliary hotel parking but it’s really the only complaint.
