Location was great! The pools were amazing. Everything was very convenient and family friendly. I loved the free washing machines!

Several things were outdated and broken. For example some of the dresser drawers were broken. The sofa couch had a downward slope to it. The dishwasher dispenser didn’t have a cover. The jacuzzi bathtub didn’t work. Oh also the TV didn’t work in the bedroom and asking for set up. The toaster in the room was also broken. The “included” breakfast which we paid for wasn’t very good.

My wife and I have celebrated several of our anniversaries at this hotel. We love the location because we love staying on the boardwalk. The size of the room was a plus. The 3-headed shower was a bonus that we liked. The parking situation is ok. If you leave and come back to the hotel after 8pm, it's likely that you will have to park in the overflow. I am appreciative that the overflow is across the street.

I think the cost of the hotel during the off months is still a bit high. There was no federal workers nor veteran discounts offered. The television programs offered on your Comcast cable are not that good. It is very limited.

Breakfast was tasty. Kids ate. I did not.

Omg. The service was sooooooooo slow and zero accommodations or flexibility with the menu! Even though items were listed on the menu you couldn’t get them! No substitutions! Not even a side Caesar in place of a starch/veggie. And even though salmon was on the menu…you couldn’t get it on a salad. Weird. Breakfast was the same way so I didn’t eat breakfast. And kids eat free is bogus. We didn’t get a free meal even though 2 main entrees were ordered. Still had to pay full price! And the restaurant is next to the indoor pool so all you smell is chlorine while you’re eating!!

Turned out that the breakfast ticket we bought did not include the whole choice of items on the menu. When we ordered, the waiter noticed the breakfast ticket and took away our menus and then brought us a much smaller menu as our only choices. The food was excellent but we were upset about the change in choices. We still had breakfast all three days - better food than no food. Won't buy ticket again unless this changes.

The suite was great. A separate living room with table for eating too, a full kitchen with a keurig, a full bath with jacuzzi tub, a bedroom with 2 queen beds and a wonderful balcony with a great ocean view

I would have preferred a typical hotel breakfast where we serve ourselves instead of a restaurant with vouchers. The choices were limited for a picky 12 year old kid. Also the pool is "in" the restaurant; divided by a glass wall, plants and tables but was just "odd". A hot tub would've been nice. Also we were too early for the outside pools to be open

The room was very spacious with ample furnishings and kitchen implements. The location was very convenient to the beach. The balcony furniture was clean. The beds were just firm enough and the bed covers were very comfortable. All staff was friendly and helpful.

The lighting was a underwhelming and sometimes the switches were hard to get to. The balcony view required looking beyond the pool -- in the summer, that's probably not a negative but in the winter, with the pool closed, it is unattractive. The indoor pool was very popular with the kids (not mine) so we did not venture into it. Also, it was very odd to have the pool right next to the restaurant.

Loved the kid pool and the amount of lifeguard staff. Felt very secure swimming with my young kids. On site restaurant was also delicious. Room was clean, cozy, and We really appreciated the quickness of the maid staff in terms of turning over the room with clean towels.

Nothing. This was a magical stay and excellent service. Will absolutely be coming back again.

The views were great, steps from the beach, and the pools were nice. I liked being up from the beginning of the boardwalk because it was quieter, but the walk was long going down and back up when traveling with kids and my older parents.

The beds were really hard and although the a.c. was on it was warm in the room and throughout the hotel.

I’ve been coming to OC for about 40 years and stayed in many hotels there. I also travel a lot for my work and specifically know to always inspect what you expect. When I booked my room the IGH website wouldn’t allow me to book for the whole weeks stay. So I booked with a third party site. I called the hotel and they were more than happy to assist me. When I arrived the room I had requested had not been vacated yet so they put me in a corner suite with city view. As soon as the ocean front room became available they swiftly moved me and the room was great! Thank you for the service! Can’t wait until my next visit there.

We were thrilled with this hotel! From the moment we entered the hotel and checked in, until the time we left, we were pleased wherever we went. Our room was expansive, comfortable, convenient and what a view! That balcony was wonderful. We especially want to shout out to Carl at the reception desk for his warm friendly attitude, and willingness to help with any issue, day or night!
