Outstanding Location. Central Location which is close to everything. Staff friendly. While interaction with stafff was minimal they were friendly and proefessional. Very welcoming. Rooms clean and comfortable. Rooms were imaculately clean and comfortable. Having the fan available in the room (and the blackout blinds) were greatly appriciated.

The only flaw that could be found with this premises was the carpark (or lack of) Not having an onsite carpark could be a downside in very bad weather. Again this is outside the control of the hotel, as it is an old town and every sq foot is put to full use. If you arrive at Check In time and stay until Checkout time parking at £7.50 is more expensive that other alternatives, but given the quality of the accomadation (and the good weather) wasn't the end of the world.

The property itself was great. We had our own self contained room with private bathroom, fridge, dresser and really comfy beds. Very clean and equipped well. Shower was fab! My little girls loved changing the lights. Really clear check in instructions. Excellent communication from the hosts. Really good value for money. We only stayed for one night - on our way back to dropping our son off - so just wanted somewhere to break up the journey. This was perfect. We didn’t go down for breakfast - as slept in - but believe they do a nice choice of continental breakfast items downstairs. I didn’t see any people working in the hotel but all communication was very clear so that wasn’t an issue. Parking is at the cinema just next door - only cost us £2.50 for the night (Saturday)

The area is really not nice. Luckily my husband was with us so he went out to collect food but quite an intimidating atmosphere outside. We live in inner city Birmingham and we felt a bit uncomfortable. I don’t think I would like to go out as a lone female. My husband was chatting to a local who said the area has been in real decline for the past 5 years. The road outside of the hotel is therefore quite noisy (until quite late) however that wasn’t a massive issue for us as we had earphones. Such a shame as the hotel itself is amazing.

Blind let's the light in as there was a light on outside all night. It was bright all night in the room. Music playing most of the night outside in public places. We did have the window open as it was fairly warm This didn't put me off as I don't sleep very well anyway but it could others. Suppose it depends on which room Could do with something to wipe the breakfast side after use

Close proximity to everything. Seamless check-in every visit. Good clean room, great shower. Very quiet in this room, too (17) Continental breakfast options and facilities perfect for people on the go. The team at this location have absolutely nailed their market

Someone in the vicinity of my room was smoking weed, which was unpleasant when opening room door. However, this is not a reflection on the room, hotel, or owners. This is a reflection on whoever is abusing building rules.

It was very central, but still pretty quiet. I found the room to be very modern, cosy, well-equipped and comfortable. The bed was also very nice, though a single rather than a double. Because it was very central, the amenities were close and plentiful. It was very handy fort the Marathon, which started from the Market Place, just a couple of minutes up the road. The service was very friendly and the staff were very helpful.

The pictures gave the impression that the rooms were much more spacious. I didn't mind it. I found the room to be very comfortable and cosy, but I also don't like false advertising. The hotel was very quiet, but when one of the main entrance doors slam shut the whole building shakes.

The location was perfect for where we wanted to be. The hotel is clean & modern & there was a breakfast offering which we didn't use & hadn't been aware of, however, we had arranged to meet family for breakfast elsewhere. We did a self check in with a key code which the owner had provided us with a few hours before our arrival. It worked perfectly well. All in all, very good value for money.

People disturbing us in the night outside our bedroom door & then their tv on loud for hours.

The staff at the weekend were very friendly, the continental breakfast provision was really good with lots of choice, and the room and communal areas were very clean and tidy. Great location as right in the centre. Large TV in the room, comfy king bed, and good sized bathroom. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The only issues were that the room (8) backed onto an extractor which ran until early hours, and the room was warm. Not a problem for me as I sleep with industrial ear plugs, but my partner struggled with the noise and heat. However I imagine this would only apply to certain rooms.

A perfectly positioned hotel. In easy walking distance of many good quality restaurants, the local cinema and the town centre. There’s no hotel parking but plenty within a minute walk costing £4.30 for the day. A really clean, quiet hotel with friendly staff. We’d definitely recommend it.

No much to dislike. The only thing I would say is that there was only a continental breakfast available so we had to look elsewhere but that wasn’t much of a problem.

The Hotel was spotless and in a perfect location only complaint was when we got there main reception door was locked and we were unsure where to go a passer by told us there was an out of hours door around the corne,this would have been difficult to locate so better signage would be good,other than this Hotel was great .Staff on site ,housemaids and lady in breakfast room were lovely and very helpful great value for money

Venue was lovely, room was absolutely stunning! No complaints at all, clean and tidy and so modern. WiFi was brilliant too unlike some hotels.

We paid for a room with patio area with the idea to sit outside and enjoy the warm weather and relax.. however unfortunately couldn't do so as a neighbouring business had a extremely loud extraction fan attached to their building which meant sitting outside was a complete no go. Opening the window/door was also a no go due to how loud it was which was a shame :(
