The room was well equipped which was great as we had a rainy afternoon while we were there so actually spent time in there. Location was great, short walk to Ambleside, 10mins maybe. We were worried as our room was the first on the building facing out towards the road, but was very quiet. After a cold morning walking the small pool and sauna were a fabulous facility and did the trick, we were able to dry our things in the laundry room while we did so.

Everything was great, but the room felt a little compact because of the amenities and a little dusty in/around the furniture as i'm sure it was tight to clean around it. But to be clear, the room/beds/shower were all clean.

When I first arrived I was greeted by a lovely and friendly receptionist. I was given an envelope with the room key inside and a map of the area. Then i was taken to my room and once there was shown the facilities inside which included plates, glasses, cutlery, microwave and a mini fridge which had water and milk inside. I was shown how the WiFi worked. Then was shown the swimming pool which was included in the price, it was small and it was heated and there were towels to dry yourself off. The bed was so comfy

The only thing I didn't like was the noise of the traffic as it could be heard through the night

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. We were very impressed with the apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed to cook for a family. The coffee machine was warmly welcomed. The spa area was nice and clean. The provided towels to use in the spa. Free parking onsite was also a bonus!

The pillows were very flat and not comfortable but there were some extra pillows in the cupboard so we managed. On arrival to the apartment, we found a letter explaining about the electricity charge we would have to pay at the end of out stay. 😳 This was a bit worrying and confusing but in the end we didn't have to pay anything extra because we had booked through Booking.com. The spa pool was great, but the sauna was out of order and the shower fixture was loose and needed to be repaired.

It's an amazingly run place. It's like staying in a VIP resort without pretensions. The apartment was so comfy. Happily stayed in when it rained. Location is fantastic. It's a stone throw away from from the lake and it's quiet. You can see a lot of wildlife just by sitting on the garden or walking across the road. I would visit again just to have those fun daily chats with the staff. They really do make your stay special.

The WiFi is not the best Personally, I'm not a fan of spring mattresses, but that's just me.

Cosy room, great pool facilities, microwave in the room was a massive bonus. Fridge in the room and milk provided was fantastic. Lovely hot shower, added benefit of it being a walk in shower for my disabled husband. All crockery, cups, glasses, cutlery etc provided for self catering. Also had fairy liquid and a tea towel provided for our stay. Beautiful scenic location. Really good parking, all spaces numbered relating to your room number. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them!

The hotel was quite difficult to find and even the local people didn't seem to know where it was and ended up googling it to try and help us out.

1 free reserved parking spot Staff friendly and helpful Small semi-private patio area Spacious bedroom Very clean & cleaner had completed room early. Very comfortable mattress, bedding and towels Quiet room Water and proper milk in mini fridge on arrival. Use of small indoor pool (towels provided). Use of laundry room Pub restaurant directly across road, convenient. 15 minutes walk into town

Found pillows hard Too much light leaks into bedroom from patio area, couldn't see where we could switch off. Check in appears to only be between 4pm-6pm, then reception closes. Not very well signposted from main road.

We were so happy with this accommodation it definitely exceeded expectations. Our room was ready when we arrived and we were taken to it by a really friendly lady. The apartment was great, comfy beds, great tea & coffee facilities even bottles of water and fresh milk. Clean and tidy. Like your own flat with table and chairs outside also. Modern and fresh décor. Great little swimming pool for a dip after a long walk. Clean with changing facilities and towels provided. There is secure onsite parking and a reception for any assistance with really lovely and friendly staff. 15 minute walk to Ambleside and right next to Lake Windermere and a lovely park area ..honestly a great setting. We walked to Rydal Hall also which takes you through Ambleside and then to a lovely area with a waterfall and various things to see. Amazing value!

Nothing!

Excellent location, easy 20 minute walk into Ambleside or 5 minutes to the pier at Waterhead. Big thumbs up for free laundry facilities. Super clean room and very comfy bed. Very friendly staff. We wanted a self catering hotel room and this fit the bill perfectly.

Our room (#1) was very close to the main road, so noise can certainly be an issue. As well, the wall is quite thin between rooms #1 & 2 so privacy is a bit compromised (although the manager did say that the issue is being addressed). Room is small but you adjust as your stay goes on, although more compact furniture could solve this problem. Free wifi was speedy but was unsecure, even with a password?

We booked this room because it slept 3 people and such rooms are often hard to find it was clean and had everything you might need; microwave, fridge, plus complimentary tea/coffee milk and water. Good location - 15 min walk to the town centre but near the lake and a couple of pubs/cafes. The staff were helpful. It was good value compared to others in the area on a bank holiday weekend.

Excellent location close to the lake and various pubs / cafes and easy walking distance into Ambleside centre Staff always very friendly and helpful Immaculately clean . Been before and will return

Our room (apt 1) was very small and only just enough room at the bottom of the bed to get past. Only a double not a king but suspect , given the room size , it could not have taken a double . Very soft mattress but that’s a personal preference
