I was well received and I immediately felt at home. The receiption was excellent. The room was clean. I was offered enough to drink. There was no smell even from the carperts in the corridors.

The room I occupied faced the sun in the afternoon. It was a bit too hot for some hours. That had nothing to do with the hotel. There were curtains thick enough to block the sun.

Excellent location for access to the town and railway station. Shops, restaurants and takeaways very short distance away.

Television didn’t work too well and the bathroom was looking a bit tired, ie paint missing off the skirting boards and the sink was cracked. Simple fix that would really lift the room.

The room was quite large, and the bed comfortable. Hotel very quiet when we stayed. A good location , five minutes walk to the town centre. A few minutes walk from the train station. A very good value car park 3 minutes walk away.

It was clean and comfortable. Not noisy. Very good value for money. Parking is a bit tight and steps are steep to top floor and not convenient if you are unable to navigate them.

Wifi password given but hard to decipher - gave up in the end. Also wasn't sure if I could smell someone smoking in another room?

Just brilliant to be honest for the price can't complain at all, friendly people, good location, clean only thing is WiFi is a bit iffy but that's not really major

Comfortable bed, great night sleep, attentive staff, very easy check in and check out procedure. Close to amenities and city centre.

Nothing it was pretty perfect.

Very good value. Nothing special from the outside and the internal staircases were a bit steep and ancient. The room (I was on the top floor) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Tea, coffee (and biscuits), and bottled water were appreciated. Would be my first choice next time I need to stay in the area .. although not sure if it would be the same if I was driving (I walked to the hotel this time) but distance from the town centre was ok and from the railway station was fine. I only met, briefly, one member of staff who was very pleasant and friendly. Indian restaurant virtually next door was really good and the pub opposite was quiet but had a simple, pleasant atmosphere.

The room was spacious and inviting. The location is excellent. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Assistance was readily available. I love the view from my window as I could see part of thw busy street. Loved it.

The internet needs to be a bit more stable.

It was in an ideal location in the town.

It could do with a makeover. One of the lights in the room was hanging out. It didn’t offer food.

The beds are so comfy! Its a lovely little hotel, the rooms are so spacious and ceilings are high, big windows and theres been a little Juliet type window in one of the rooms. Stayed here a few times!
