Location was perfect! Super comfy beds and pillows. Room was on a larger scale which is perfect! Did not use any of the outside facilities as this was an unexpected BUISNESS Trip.

Did not like that parking was additional extra. Had we of known we would have not stayed there! We have a vehicle full of equipment + how else am I to get there walk? Parking should be a given! Chose to park car near Hello Sailor. Will not go back there due to the extra fees for parking.

Location, view of river and surroundings. Convenient

Too pricey for the 1) standard of the room (for that price one would expect a step-up in interior standards) 2) at The Boathouse restaurant the food was good, but WAY too pricey for the quality of the food offered. Oysters were the smallest we’d seen served in a long time (for that price). 3) staff at restaurant were friendly and efficient, but not well trained for serving wine nor for presenting the food, in the light of the price paid. Even the way in which the food and our morning coffees were pushed down onto the table, all in one spot, did not impress us at all.

So much to love about this place! Clean, comfortable, amazing pool, great food, awesome vibe and lovely staff. Loads across the road (shopping centre, Panthers Club, cafes, Maccas) and the main strip is a long walk or a short drive away. The pool was a highlight as it was the perfect temperature, had loads of comfy lounges and easy to access into it with wide steps. We will definitely be back 👍

Our room was massive with so much open space and yet the bathroom was so small you literally have to climb over the toilet to close the door. I ended up with a massive bruise from my partner opening the door while I was on the toilet.

Great place to stay for a little staycation with kids or without! Pool and spa were amazing, kids really enjoyed it. location great, shops and restaurants across the road and on the same st. Breakfast buffet was nice. Restaurant looked cute. Would definitely return!

Room had a damp smell on arrival, had to turn the fans and aircon on to air out, but it was the weekend after cyclone Alfred so maybe that was why? Was a few stains on the carpet but otherwise clean and spacious rooms. Room service meals were not that great tasting, particularly the kids meals, overcooked and dry fish and chicken tenders.

Impressive looking hotel in a pleasant location, albeit a short drive but a fair walk into the main part of the town. The restaurant and the public areas were very well kept and every member of staff were helpful and friendly. The pool area was attractive and well kept. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant.

The bathroom was tatty, with a wobbly tap fitting, and the bathroom door base looked like it was suffering from damp. When we tried to shower in the morning, the reason for the door's appearance became obvious. It was impossible to turn on the shower without the floor flooding. To make matters worse the water was cool, and almost cold, and no amount of waiting or adjustment of the taps resulted in any warm, let alone hot water resulting. This was very disappointing for an otherwise very nice hotel.

When we arrived the concierge was friendly and advised us that we had been upgraded to a pool view room. We were so happy with this. The room was perfect, clean and tidy. The balcony was relaxing overlooking the pool, especially at night, as we had a drink to unwind.

When we arrived for breakfast at 9:30am, every empty table hadn’t been cleared. We managed to move some items to another table but it could have used a wipe down. Staff didn’t attempt to assist or even wipe the table. The other tables atill weren’t cleaned when we finished breakfast.

Location , staff, and the room was excellent. Comfy bed. Katie who checked us in.and out, was very friendly and adjusted the room booking to me all of our requests. She was very professional and informative about the facilities available and really made us feel well. So a big thanks out to her!

The restaurant staff were very attentive. However, the pepper steak that my wife Kerry ordered was tastless, and no pepper sauce it was just gravy. Even the wait staff agreed it was laking pepper in the sauce. My pork dish was very bland as well.

Bed was very comfortable & a lovely walk into the town centre. The gardens & pool area are great & a great size bedroom

Over 30 mins to book in as only one staff member on duty & 4 groups of people before us to book in on a Friday late afternoon. Pool side food & drinks took over 40 mins as only one staff member on duty. Poor guy was taking the orders at the bar then taking leaving the bar area to take the orders outside. He ran out of plastic glasses for the pool area & food was cold when it arrived. Very short staffed at breakfast so always having to ask for a bowl, juice, hot water for coffee or no milk etc The staff were lovely but expected to do far to much. Not happy to pay $15 a day for parking

We arrived during the worst storm floods in years and Jasmine on reception was really helpful checking us in. She also got us a room for my son and his girlfriend who were in a camper van but their site was potentially going to be cut off by the floods. Everyone in the hotel were super friendly and gave us advice on how to get back to Sydney the nest day as the motorway south was shut. Fortunately we got out of town the next morning as some of the roads were becoming impassable.

Nothing.

The location, the pool and the views. The style of the hotel. And we saw dolphins swimming past our room!

We felt that the restaurant and bar seemed to be run for the convenience of the staff not the customer. The bar and restaurant shut at 9!! The kitchen staff disappeared before we finished our main (we got to the restaurant at 7:30) so we had no opportunity to have dessert or coffee. The bar was badly stocked, they ran out of sparkling wine and several wine choices were unavailable.
