The rooms were neat and tidy with plenty of room for bags and other items. Staff were very friendly, we had to cut our trip short due to family emergency and they offered a one night refund which was lovely of them.

Seperated from the centre of town by the highway and could hear traffic through the night. It wasn't too loud though and we were in the room closest to the highway so I imagine the other rooms were quieter.

We were really happy with our stay at Alpine Motor Inn. The room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was excellent — close to everything. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Just a tad noisey with the main road near the motel but nothing a bit of white noise can’t fix.

Was in the family room. Five of us. Were offered a porta cot. We always carry some of our own extra padding which was handy. Very helpful staff when assistance was needed. Windows and doors were will built. Could see money was spent in sound proofing upgrades which were very effective.

Lighting. Some smaller bedside lamps would have been nice. All lighting pretty much lit up the entire room. For the money though, can't complain too much.

Easiest check in ever. Room was very clean & showers were fantastic. Beds extremely comfortable & room size was good also. Nice to have a heat pump & an extra warm blanket on hand as weather was definitely chilly during our visit. Location was good as we had a car & it was nice to stay just out of the hustle & bustle of Katoomba.

Comfortable room with good bed and bathroom also good.

Still can't get used to motels in Australia having no kitchen facilities and crockery, cutlery etc. In New Zealand that is standard in motels, kitchen with equipment to enable basic cooking or eating food bought to dine in.

it was so close to everything. clean, and room cleaned everyday. and it was very spacious. they had a microwave, kettle and fridge which was handy. the double bed was in a seperate room but it was ok. it was cold but we used heater and electric blankets. we loved our stay.

not all the lights worked. but besides that everything was great

We liked having a family room with 3 beds- it's not easy finding rooms with 3 beds. Good location with parking. Friendly staff. Clean room with microwave & toaster, tables & chairs. room very quiet considering it was just off the main road.

Not being told that the restaurant was permanently closed.

The GPS guided us a little bit different way, but we managed to get there safely. Room was very comfortable and parking space is just in the motel yard. Very easy to get into the town centre and other sight viewing places. Only a little bit noisy if your next door playing tv at late night.

The nosiness of next door is a little bit loud when you trying to sleep at night

the check-in and checkout process was quick and easy. the room was very clean and comfortable. lovely view out the window to the trees and the valley.

the only problem i had was the air-conditioner. despite being set at 27 degrees, it only put out cold air. i fell asleep after putting the ac on, expecting it would warm up the room, and woke up about an hour later shivering. there didn't seem to be an option to make it a heater rather than cooler.

The room was large, comfortable, with sofa and dining table - adding to the comfort. Nice hot shower, good air-con.

There is some noise from the highway, but not really an issue. Also cleaner came into room to make bed, even when not requested.
