Room was excellent. Comp upgrade. Very happy . Quiet which was perfect for us getting away from the busy life's we have hotel was clean and well maintained reception staff where 10/10. Missis booked a spa was very happy with it. Therapist was very thorough and overall enjoyed every minute of it

Night staff came across as very rude. Almost grumpy and uninterested .Arrived back after an evening out. Asked for drinks (non-alcoholic) didn't get an answer made us feel like we where not welcome. Breakfast was also very disappointing. First morning ordered eggs Benedict bacon was inedible overcooked well past the point of crispy. Hollandaise lacked any flavour just dull. 2nd morning issue with bacon again tasted like it was sitting ina bain Marie all morning almost gray. Me personally I find breakfast one of the most important parts of a hotel to get right as for most people it's the last thing they'll remember from a stay and for it to be as bad as it was it's disappointing as it takes away from all the good things we enjoys. Would definitely stay again but wouldn't include breafast

Our first time to stay at The Twelve despite being a regular visitor to Galway. More than happy with our short break at The Twelve. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. The bar was lively for a Monday night and we enjoyed our time there. We didn't have dinner in the hotel but the breakfast was lovely. Bearna has a number of lovely restaurants and Donnelly's pub make The Twelve an ideal location to base yourself for a break with Galway city and Connemara right on your doorstep. A really enjoyable stay and we will undoubtedly be back again.

My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast after having had an evening meal on the eve of our arrival. There was such a vast choice for both sittings, with our sincere thanks to the chef/s & staff too as the service was also superb. The over-all hospitality at The Twelve was fabulous from start to finish and we would definitely return in the future. Highly recommend, too.

We found everything to our satisfaction as all the questions confirm so. (Maybe a bigger TV screen in our luxury room, but these may vary in size throughout hotel, so very trivial).

Lovely atmosphere and decor, dinner and breakfast were delicious, really enjoyed them and staff were lovely. Was very impressed with how welcome dogs were, we didn't bring our dog on this trip but might the next time.

My only issue is that on our second night the bar/restaurant was very busy and there was only one barman working and there was a delay in getting drinks, people had to queue at the bar to try and get a drink. As the hotel was very busy and there's only really one other bar in Bearna, it just seemed strange to just have one barman on duty.

My wife and I travel a fair amount and this is one of the best hotels we ever stayed at! The room was very large (not usual in Europe), very clean and well appointed. The hotel has a very fun bar and the food there is excellent too. We ate there for lunch and dinner and the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast provided each day was unbelievable. They had a large continental food section, but also numerous hot items you could order from the kitchen. The room plus breakfast was an outstanding value. We highly recommend you pick The Twelve Hotel, you will not be disappointed!

I was disappointed to learn that The Twelve Hotel in Galway is the only one in the world, otherwise we would stay at their other locations too if we could!

Fabulous rooms. We were in 1287. It was a lovely big room. The bar / lounge area is small but really nice and warm. We had dinner in the restaurant by the bar which was lovely. There is also a restaurant upstairs which I believe is more upmarket but we didn’t see it.

No water in our double room. The room coat €200, think they should have supplied water. Service in the bar and restaurant is slow but all staff were very nice and we were not rushing so it didn’t make a difference to us

Breakfast was first class - as good as more expensive hotels. The staff was very attentive , and attended to the inevitable glitches promptly and effectively.

We would like to have been able to book the Bar Restaurant in advance. We were waiting for about 30 to 40 minutes for a table. It was only 5 to 10 minutes the first evening. We were very happy with the staff and the food. In particular the menu changed the second evening - fish was replace by bacon. I like both. The natural lighting was a little dark, but the artificial lighting compensated well. Maybe the dark timber surrounding could be made lighter. ;-) The West Restaurant did not appeal much to us.

The food at the restaurant was amazing, the staff was nice, the room was big, nice and very comfortable. I will go back. The parking was also good and the breakfast was delicious and really good Value,

They had a new door system in the rooms and we had a lot of issues at the check in because the key couldn't be programed so we have to go back and forth 3 times before it was done. but it got solve that was the only issue we had.

The food was delicious the pizza expecially. . The hotel is fabulous and the staff are friendly and lovely. Rooms are very clean and beautifully designed. Lovely to see dog's as fellow guests enjoying there own mini breaks. Location is quiet but very convenient to pop in and out of the city or just take a stroll to the shop or nearby pier. The Bakery is also fantastic and the coffee is excellent.

Fab stay with my mum for her birthday. There was even desserts in room with happy birthday card. Lovely touch. Room very comfortable and clean. We had the chicken wings in Franks Hot sauce that evening in bar restaurant along with other items. These wings were not in Franks Hot Sauce and can confirm that they were not at all nice with a very weird tasting sauce and very disappointing
