Our pet friendly room with patio doors onto our own little garden was beautiful. The added value is the connecting field at the back of the property that we took a stroll around. This then connects to a lovely walk up the hill with amazing views. The hosts were friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was absolutely delicious! There are lots of lovely touches, quality toiletries, complementary cordials and cakes, dog towels and blankets. The Robin Hood Inn is only a minute walk away serving lovely food with very friendly staff.

The property is beautiful! The bedrooms are lovely, the bed is very comfy and the bathroom very nice with a jacuzzi bath. There is a water cooler along with bottle green juices in different flavours and cordials you can help yourself too along with oat milk and flavoured teas. Breakfast was a good range of cereals including gluten free, dairy free and vegan options. We went for the omelette which was perfect. The hosts are just lovely people. We will definitely be returning

Beautiful place and surroundings. Owners were fantastic!! We took our dog and had a dog friendly room, very spacious and clean, and even had a patio door out to a garden we could use. Facilities were great, everything you needed in the room, cordial and water on the landing outside the room was a lovely touch, even offered us cake on arrival! Location itself is absolutely perfect, some beautiful walks on the door step, pub next door with great food, Chatsworth house and Baslow itself only a 5 minute drive. Highly recommend!

Received a warm welcome despite booking a room and hour before arrival. Superb surroundings and history to go with the location and old farm.

The location. The hospitality, The very comfortable and quite room with a modern touch. Very clean, room balcony in the garden is a nice touch. A minute walk away is the Robin Hood inn which serves great food and drink. Ample parking at the farm bnb, local hiking routes from the doorstep.

Easy access with off road parking. Clean room with comfy bed, nice and quiet with no road noise, great shower in ensuite bathroom. Large choice at breakfast with hot food cooked fresh to order, home baked bread, cakes, home made jams, real ground coffee, and beer in the fridge! An extremely pleasant stay! Some guests bring dogs and stay in dog friendly rooms. We don't have any dogs & our room was listed for guests without a dog!! Ideal!!

Prefer to see NO dogs at the breakfast table - but as this is in the middle of the countryside we accept that dog owners often take dogs so they can enjoy the countryside too! The hosts also offer to serve breakfast to your room as an alternative for guests who can choose that option.

Everything was great during our stay! The hosts were lovely, the room was comfy and spacious, the garden was brilliant, and the location was very convenient. We brought our dog along and were pleased to find that the hosts provided us with bowls for food and water, as well as blankets for our furry friend. Our room had access to a nearby garden, which was perfect for our dog to roam around in. The breakfast was delicious, especially the sausages, and there was some fantastic cake available all day (the carrot cake was particularly delicious!). Another big plus for us was that we were travelling with an electric car, and the hosts had a charger available for us to use! Last but not least, the Robin Hood pub is located just next door and has amazing dinner food and a great atmosphere. We will be back!

Our room was very good size with a perfect enclosed space for our dog to go outside. The room was modern and comfortable with lots of facilities - lovely bathroom and a shower that felt like a spa! A real highlight was being able to have breakfast bought to our room (we have a needy dog!) - it was delicious and we selected what we’d like the night before! There were also a selection of drinks and homemade cakes available for guests which was another lovely touch! Location wise it’s very close to Bakewell and walking routes with a handy pub just a minutes walk away. We would love to stay again when we get the chance!

The only thing for us was the bed was a little high but that’s just personal preference (and not a big thing at all!) but it was king size so it was good space!

We booked a cottage with hot tub. The location was beautiful with nice trekking around. The cottage was spot clean and had all the required facilities. The services were awesome. I ordered Cake and birthday ballon which was already places at our cottage before we arrive which was quite delicious. Location of the hot tub was very private with a picturesque surrounding and was maintained on warm perfect temperature. There’s a Robin hood Inn just beside the cottage where you can have some nice food and beers. Overall a peaceful and very good place for a weekend gateway.

The rooms were bit colder than usual even after having heater on all the time.

Well furnished guest house, beautiful room, with a really comfy bed. Welcoming hosts who provided lots of little extras, like teas and cordials to choose from. Loved the daily freshly baked cakes left in the dining room to taste and a fantastic English breakfast

Walk into baslow to the village is about 30 mins along busy A road, although guest house does have a lovely pub right next door

We loved the grounds, rooms, and the countless little things that made us comfortable...like the complimentary drinks, cake, teas, outstanding decor, common sitting room, etc. The bathroom and bedrooms were S.T.E.L.L.A.R. The breakfast was also incredible! It was also super close to Chatsworth house and Haddon Hall.

Felt a lack of warmth from the hosts. Hard to put into words, but felt there was a disconnect btwn guests and hosts. Had more of a hotel feeling due to the atmosphere the host created.
