The room design is exceptional—spacious and beautifully reflective of Singapore’s rich heritage. I also appreciate the creatively designed elevator; it adds a unique and memorable touch.

Guests are often disappointed with the à la carte breakfast, as they expect a buffet-style offering. Additionally, the menu has very limited options, which further impacts the overall experience. The scent used in the lobby has a sharp, chilly smell that I find unpleasant. On the second day of my stay, the dressing gown had a strong oily smell, as if it had been reused after someone had a massage. The odor was quite unpleasant."

We loved this property! Beautifully decorated rooms, comfortable bed, bathtub to relax and unwind. Good quality food at breakfast and on room service. Gym in the hotel, robes provided. Helpful staff. Good location.

1. Staff: The hospitality here is exceptional. The team consistently goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable, leaving a lasting impression. Special thanks to Duty Manager Carmen, café staff Jess, Nina, and Yvonne, the rooftop bartender, and Mr. Philip — all of whom deliver outstanding service with genuine warmth. 2. Hotel design and user experience: Every detail in this hotel has been thoughtfully considered — from the dustbins to the curtains, doors, and bathroom fittings. The attention to design and functionality in every corner elevates the overall experience and justifies the price. It’s rare to find such meticulous care in hotel interiors and layout. 3. Food: The food is simply delicious. You’ll likely eat more than you planned. The breakfast stands out — it’s buffet-style, but each item is made to order and served fresh like à la carte. It’s a smart approach that enhances quality and reduces food waste. A definite highlight of the stay.

A minor area for improvement is the lift access system. The card tap sensor could be more responsive, as it currently takes a bit longer to register and grant access. Improving the sensor speed would enhance the overall guest experience.

Honestly, the pictures on Booking.com are not even close to how stunning this property is. The decor is amazing; very original and unexpected. The room was extremely comfortable as was the bed. I loved the toiletry range, too. The pool was amazing. Honestly, nothing to complain about. The staff were polite and accommodating. The mix of plants, trees, green and modern concrete was exceptional. Very inspiring and inviting. I hope to be able to stay here again soon.

I checked in at 6PM and my room was not ready yet: it can happen but, still, for the price you pay, you expect the property to have these type of issues under control.

Breakfast was excellent and very generous - be sure to include it with your room as it would be quite pricy otherwise. Location was conveniently located near public transport for getting around. Staff were all super friendly and genuinely wanted to help make the stay as enjoyable as possible. Cocktails were excellent. All round a clean, comfortable & enjoyable experience.

Only minor things - rooftop pool and bar is excellent to relax, but as such the sunbeds are limited in number so you may be waiting a while for one to free up. There is construction activity near the hotel but this is beyond their control - it was relatively quiet during the holiday period we visited but I could see how it may be an inconvenience.

The rooms are some of the nicest I've stayed in. Modern, large but homely and warm with amazing views. Iron, safe and Dyson hairdryer and a portable speaker available. The balcony is a great extra space. The shower room and WC are in two separate rooms with two sinks and a modern Japanese style toilet. The pool area also incredible with views across Singapore and was often quiet / noone else there. There are wellness activities available every day for free and the gym is super modern. There are generous green spaces throughout the hotel making you feel like you're in a vertical jungle. Overall a relaxing, beautiful experience. The bed was super comfortable and it's very central for Singapore.

The reception area is a bit underwhelming, it looked like a back entrance but was actually the main one. A bigger sign or more obvious lobby feel would be good when you come in. The breakfast area by it is also too small. It could be good to do a breakfast buffet by the pool area. There was only a la carte available in a small area by the reception that had a line on weekends.

Had two connecting rooms for a family of four, with huge amounts of space and two balconies. Fantastic vibe and decor; lovely swimming pool, fitness, and spa treatment area; dining in the cafe was excellent and worth the money; staff was very friendly and patient, especially as we had a few maintenance issues while we were there (very quick to respond). Proximity to Botanic Garden, Orchard, and shopping was good for walking.

The key card access to the elevator and room was a problem daily until I deduced on the second to last day that having a mobile phone near the card activation point would cause it to fail. The cocktail service at the swimming pool could have been faster.

Clean and modern hotel.

Food was expensive. Roof top bar and pool service very slow, considering when there were only a hand full of people at the pool at the time. when we tried to pay for our drinks by cash we were told they only accept credit card payment. evening turn down service although enhances the mood it felt a bit creepy cause it was never at the same time in the evening. one evening we left our room around 8pm and return around 9:30pm to find turndown service had been done which annoyed me as I left my suitcase open and unlocked so anyone could have gone through my clothes and bag while they were in the room (regardless if nothing was missing) overall service not up to expectation.

Good location, near many restaurants, shops and a short walk to the metro station. The staff were great, we had an issue with the room on the first day and the staff acted quickly to resolve the issue for us and move us to another room which was perfect. Great facilities and the food in the restaurant was very tasty. The views from the pool are amazing. Would definitely stay again if we returned to Singapore.

The food/drink in the hotel was a little expensive.

The interior design was unique and interesting. The spicy scent from the hotel entrance was also impressive. The room was neither too small nor too large, but it was functionally comfortable and felt generous. You could tell that a lot of thought was put into the hotel amenities, bathrobes, and OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment). If you're feeling tired of the usual 5-star hotels, staying at the characterful Artyzen Singapore is a great option.

The hotel pool was not large, and there was noise due to ongoing construction nearby.
