absolutely loved our stay. great location, very comfy and homey room (booked queen size superior), lovely and attentive staff and a nice breakfast buffet. really want to point out the gym they offer: it is actually a fully equipped gym with many (!) modern gym tech, coffee and juice. never ever had such a gym in any hotel. we really enjoyed our stay. what a price-value ratio.

The queen superior room was cozy - and due to its size, a proper wardrobe was missing and also enough space for the luggage. the room gets a bit tight when you try to unpack. also the Bathroom is small, so when you take a shower, the room has the tendency to be quite wet. a wet-broom could help. but I guess higher classed rooms will have all this sorted.

The hotel is located 10 minutes walk from the city center on a pleasant, pedestrian street. The hotel has its own individual, unique style. The staff is quite friendly. The managers are pleasant to talk to and very professional in their work. I especially liked to communicate with manager Natalie. Service from Natalie is at the highest level! The breakfasts are also worth mentioning. A lot of varied, fresh, and high-quality food. In summer, it is a pleasure to have breakfast in the quiet courtyard. Also, we ordered dinner in the hotel restaurant and drinks in the bar several times. Everything was delicious! I am sure we will stay there again on our next trips ))) I recommend it!

Rain on our last day of holiday )) And a small breakdown in the toilet - the toilet lid was badly fixed (( but it didn't spoil the overall impression) )

Loved the location very central to all the shops cafes and restaurants. The Train station was only 200 meters. The breakfast was very good. The breakfast room was very spacious and good choices of foods. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room were comfortable but small in space and the temperature was perfect you can monitor at your temperature preference. The bed was very comfortable.

The only thing I was not impressed about as the room is very small to move around in.The bathroom was very modern and stylish with good amenities shower body and hair as well as hand gel provided by the hotel. Great mirror in the bathroom enough light. The only thing is quiet small shower is great but has a shower curtain which means waters goes outside the shower. The toilet is too close to the shower and toilet paper holder doesn't give much room to move. The hotel is good for a short stay2-3 nights,

The location is good, and the breakfast was satisfying. The lobby area is quite cozy, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear live music playing when I checked in on a Friday. It created a lovely atmosphere. I also appreciated the complimentary early check-in. The room did include an iron and ironing board, which was convenient.

I stayed in a single-bed room, and unfortunately, the experience there wasn’t as positive. The lighting was extremely poor. Even with all the lamps switched on, the room remained dim and made it hard to see properly. The furniture was outdated, and the space had a tired, unintentional “old” feel. There were visible stains on the furniture and cushions, which didn’t help. Despite having plenty of unused space, the kettle and mugs were oddly tucked away in a cabinet, making them awkward to access and use. They also felt quite old.

The property was great. We were there for a 3 night stay. We booked one of the smaller double rooms which were perfect for us for the length. Loved the bathroom which had a shower that had good pressure and heat! We had soap/ shampoo/ conditioner and towels within the room. Bring adapters but plenty of sockets. Comfy bed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful from cooked, continental / juices/ coffee station/ even smoothies and chia puddings. Staff were really friendly. We had dinner at the hotel one night, which was nice but on the slightly more expensive but food was good and service was great so didn’t detract. I would absolutely stay there again. It was a little walk … maybe 10 minutes down lots of restaurants to get to the attractions of Stockholm edges- although we enjoyed this walk and meant we had a chance to try and few places. There is also a station relatively near but we didn’t use it. We didn’t look into the gym. I would absolutely recommend and stay here again if I came back to Stockholm. Thank you!!!

The best part about staying in Mornington Hotel are: Excellent location, pedestrian-only street, close to the Metro, restaurants, food hall and shops. The lobby had a library feel with books belonging to the owner. It had a relaxed homely vibe and we had drinks while someone played the piano. Breakfast was lavish. Kitchen staff and FOH were friendly, professional and spoke well. We got there early and they stored our luggage whilst room was being prepared. The room 505 and bathroom were clean, tiny but pretty cool.

We booked for 2 nights and the room we stayed was small (which we kind of expected). I wouldn't stay here for a longer period of time.

Friendly and helpful staff, service, excellent food and clean rooms. I used the gym every morning during my stay, something I did not foresee. However, there are clean shorts and t-shirts waiting for you in the changing room. They let us use the luggage room as we had time after our check out time which was great. They have jazz days at the hotel which is great. It is also centrally located, so you can reach everything at any time, which is a great convenience. I can say that the rooms are a bit cool for those who are not used to it. The reason for this is that the hotel is centrally heated. The temperature changes in the rooms according to the weather conditions. If I travel to Stockholm again, I would choose definitly this hotel again :)

Mornington's location can't be beat. It's walkable to everything you'd want to do in Stockholm, with an entrance to the public transport system a block away. If you're flying into Arlandia, it's worth figuring out how to take the express train to the subway, because you're only one stop away from the Mornington stop (process takes 20-25 minutes, as opposed to a $100, 45-minute taxi from the airport). Breakfast at the hotel is generous and delightful, with plenty of options from a full English to assorted fruit, yogurt, chia pudding, breads, meats, and of course coffee and tea. We had a sixth floor executive room with balcony, and were happy to have a door and window to open for fresh air, given there is no A/C. Other reviews noted street noise, which was definitely present but we didn't find it prohibitive or wildly intrusive. If you're very sensitive to noise, bring a sound machine! A small but important thing: the hairdryers are GREAT. Strong, with three heat and strength options, and a nozzle adapter.

The shower set-up is completely silly. While the bathrooms are beautiful, there is no lip around the shower floor, so you literally cannot shower without soaking the entire floor. Meanwhile, signage encourages you to reuse towels whenever possible, but you have to throw them all on the floor just to keep from slipping! Pure silliness in an otherwise super-thoughtfully designed room. Beds were extremely comfortable and we love the separate duvets! Might have to adopt that at home :)

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were really friendly and spoke fluent English, the decor is charming and elegant, and the room was as pictured. The breakfast buffet was definitely worth it and came with many different options, all of them delicious. The gym and sauna came with free towels and gym wear and you could use the sauna with swimsuits or just in a towel. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. In the evenings, the lobby had live music being played which was a classy touch.

We couldn't find the bathrobes or slippers, but to be fair, we didn't ask the front desk to verify. The location, although lovely to walk through the posh Östermalm district, is a 20 - 25 min walk to your tourist locations (Gamla Stan, Skansen, main train station etc.) if you don't take public transport.

The location is incredible. A couple minutes from many restaurants and shops. The staff was incredible and supported us through the whole stay. We traveled with a baby and provided us with a cot and we're super friendly. Breakfast was excellent, lots of options, super fresh and really delicious

Our room.was really nice, with a great balcony to make use in shiny days. The bed was OK, it felt little and had a mattress topper that was too soft for my taste but was nice to sleep in. The pillows were really hard and big, we had to ask for another one to try to balance it
