Very large room and bathroom. The location is very convenient to explore the city on foot, and relatively quiet (outside of the old town). The hotel staff can pick you up from the airport with their car for 20€. The breakfast is included in the rate and has many different options, especially considering that it's not a big hotel. Not so many baked goods but 2-3 cakes and warm foods changing every day, fresh fruit, vegetables, 5 different types of honey... The staff speaks English and while not particularly communicative, they seem happy to help. I like that the hotel / the room didn't smell of cigarettes, which is rare enough to point out.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. The curtains weren't able to cover the windows fully so we were woken up by the sun (East facing room).

I have stayed at Hotel Festival four times since 2022, and each visit has been exceptional. This time was no different—everything exceeded my expectations once again. The bustling Sarajevo city center, the Art Academy, and the enchanting historic old town of Baščaršija are all just a short 5 to 10-minute walk away. This makes it incredibly convenient for first-time visitors and returning guests like myself. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel's atmosphere perfectly balances modern comfort and a cozy boutique feel. Whether you're visiting Sarajevo for business, leisure, or both, the Hotel Festival offers a warm, inviting retreat after exploring the city. Each stay here reaffirms why I keep coming back. The combination of outstanding hospitality, excellent location, and overall comfort makes it my top choice in Sarajevo. I always leave feeling refreshed and already looking forward to my next visit. If you're searching for a genuinely welcoming and memorable place to stay, I cannot recommend Hotel Festival enough!

This is a lovely family owned hotel. All the staff was wonderful - special shoutout to Hanna (sp?) who used to work the evening shifts and was always available to answer any questions we had. The receptionist during the day, the breakfast room staff and the limo driver who picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the airport were wonderful as well. The room size was good, and the beds wonderful. We loved the breakfast as well which had ample choices available. The hotel is located on a quiet street and is not too far from the main city attractions. There are a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and shops near the hotel as well.

The hotel’s location is convenient, a short walk to Old Town. The room was comfortable, clean and pleasant. One of the things that stood out for us were the very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was so lovely! The other amazing thing is the breakfast- there is a wide variety of options and there is great attention to detail in the breakfast area. The instructions we received for the parking area were confusing, but once we got to the parking area, it was great. There appeared to only be three spots, though, so reserving a spot for the indoor parking is required. We would be happy to stay at the Hotel Festival on our next trip to Sarajevo.

Family room with interconnecting door was great for a family of 5. Beds were comfortable. Well located, easy stroll into the old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Air conditioning didn't work at all and the rooms looked onto a busy street so opening the windows wasn't an option. Finding the parking was a bit tricky as there are no signs on the street. Round the back of the hotel, through the gap in the buildings that looks like a housing estate, turn left then right and you'll see the gate.

Well designed rooms, clean, nicely furnished. Loved the matching upholstery in the whole hotel and breakfast room. Despite the busy street, windows well insulate the noise. Lift is very useful to reach upper floors. Breakfast was FANTASTIC. great choice of everything - warm, cold, salty, sweet. Staff at the reception was very helpful and kind. Parking!!! Needed to be reserved in advance, but there is an underground garage for 4 cars and outdoor for another 3/4 cars. Otherwise impossible to find a parking nearby.

This hotel made my trip worthwhile. The staff were always on top of their job, and they are extremely nice and they treat all residents like family almost. Anything one might need help with from road trips to shuttles to help with different locations and taxis, the staff were always willing to help. The hotel was always clean and the shared dining room felt like a home. This hotel is a big recommend!

Sometimes the communication with certain staff was difficult but it's nothing google translate can't solve when needed.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. Especial thanks to the two ladies from the reception. Very good coffee at breakfast and also very helpful lady in the kitchen in case of special requests. The hotel is centrally located and perfect to explore the old town. Lot's of restaurants in walking distance and also a park with outdoor coffee.

The rooms could be better equipped e.g. not sufficient hangers, no place to hang the towels in the bath, no tissues. All minor things which contribute to a better stay. Roof terrace is not equipped.

This property is conveniently located - quiet yet close to the old town - and a pleasant walk along the river to get there. The room was clean and comfortable. A highlight of our stay was the warm and extremely helpful receptionist- Sedafa (spelling? not certain I have it right but she told me her name means “pearl”). She helped us with parking, restaurant reservations and information about the city. We truly enjoyed chatting with her 😊. The breakfast was also good.

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Room was spacious, clean, as well as bathroom. Good location: very close to center by walk and it's a bit "hidden" from main loud streets and crowds. Terrace on the top of the building. Each floor has only 4 rooms, meaning, there wouldn't be a lot of crowds in corridors. Breakfast, oh, breakfast here was one of the best in our experience through last monthes of travelling. A lot of different options, all we tried is very delicious and really healthy, not like food from supermarket, but really like from garden 💚 Next our visit to Sarajevo we will try ta stay with you, guys 😉

Well, a few things we would like to change: not very powerful hood in the bathroom, very few towel hooks there too and missing shelf for cosmetics in shower cabin. Average sound isolation. Anyway, it was not so critical.
