Excellent hotel, everything was perfect. Both the room and breakfast exceeded our expectation. Extremely comfortable beds. Staff is helpful and friendly. Location is good, less than 10 minutes from downtown. Next supermarket is cca 80 meters. Highly recommended when staying in Sarajevo.
Parking is a bit challenging. The hotel has a private garage which is a big plus in Sarajevo downtown. Finding the garage entrance behind the hotel entrance is very difficult in the absence of signs. The garage itself is quite small and when it is closely full with cars, it is very difficult to park and you might leave the key at the reception. I didn't have problem with it, but if you are not great driver, you could have.

Very large room and bathroom. The location is very convenient to explore the city on foot, and relatively quiet (outside of the old town). The hotel staff can pick you up from the airport with their car for 20€. The breakfast is included in the rate and has many different options, especially considering that it's not a big hotel. Not so many baked goods but 2-3 cakes and warm foods changing every day, fresh fruit, vegetables, 5 different types of honey... The staff speaks English and while not particularly communicative, they seem happy to help. I like that the hotel / the room didn't smell of cigarettes, which is rare enough to point out.
Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. The curtains weren't able to cover the windows fully so we were woken up by the sun (East facing room).

I have stayed at Hotel Festival four times since 2022, and each visit has been exceptional. This time was no different—everything exceeded my expectations once again. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the owners and staff, who consistently go above and beyond to make their guests feel at home. Their hospitality is professional and genuinely heartfelt, whether through small gestures like offering delicious homemade Bosnian coffee or ensuring every individual need is met with care and attention. What makes Hotel Festival truly special is not just the impeccable service but also its prime location. As I mentioned in my previous reviews, everything you want to explore is within easy reach. The bustling Sarajevo city center, the Art Academy, and the enchanting historic old town of Baščaršija are all just a short 5 to 10-minute walk away. This makes it incredibly convenient for first-time visitors and returning guests like myself. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel's atmosphere perfectly balances modern comfort and a cozy boutique feel. Whether you're visiting Sarajevo for business, leisure, or both, the Hotel Festival offers a warm, inviting retreat after exploring the city. Each stay here reaffirms why I keep coming back. The combination of outstanding hospitality, excellent location, and overall comfort makes it my top choice in Sarajevo. I always leave feeling refreshed and already looking forward to my next visit. If you're searching for a genuinely welcoming and memorable place to stay, I cannot recommend Hotel Festival enough!

Hotel is very close to the city center. Although the parking spot is a little tight, there's a garage so you won't have to worry about your car. Staff is very helpful and friendly.
This is not a big complain, but until I found out where the parking spot was, I had to leave the car in the parking lot of the hotel across the street, in relatively heavy traffic. But later, the staff member helped me find the parking spot. Maybe there was a sign but I did not notice. So, I would cut 0.5 points but round up it to 10.

Very quiet and clean hotel. Soundproofing is so good that you can't hear any street noise or neighbors, although the hotel was full. Very nice staff, ready to help with any questions. There is a kettle and a minibar fridge in the room. Free parking. There are slippers in the room.
It is difficult to find the hotel parking lot and it is very small, parking is very difficult. Excessive savings on detergents and even tea bags). There are no bathrobes in the room. Breakfast could have been more interesting and tasty.

This is a lovely family owned hotel. All the staff was wonderful - special shoutout to Hanna (sp?) who used to work the evening shifts and was always available to answer any questions we had. The receptionist during the day, the breakfast room staff and the limo driver who picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the airport were wonderful as well. The room size was good, and the beds wonderful. We loved the breakfast as well which had ample choices available. The hotel is located on a quiet street and is not too far from the main city attractions. There are a lot of restaurants, supermarkets and shops near the hotel as well.

The hotel’s location is convenient, a short walk to Old Town. The room was comfortable, clean and pleasant. One of the things that stood out for us were the very friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was so lovely! The other amazing thing is the breakfast- there is a wide variety of options and there is great attention to detail in the breakfast area. The instructions we received for the parking area were confusing, but once we got to the parking area, it was great. There appeared to only be three spots, though, so reserving a spot for the indoor parking is required. We would be happy to stay at the Hotel Festival on our next trip to Sarajevo.
The instructions for finding the parking area were not accurate.

The location was great, a nice quiet and peaceful part of town, but just a short walk to the old town, the river, and the cable car. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was decent, fresh and healthy. The room and hotel was very clean, modern and well maintained.
Whilst the main beds were comfortable, the 2 extra beds for our children were very uncomfortable. When paying for 4 people in a room, you would expect a bit better. It felt slightly overpriced.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. As soon as we got there the day manager showed us where to park right on site. The following day, the other manager was very nice and helpful as well. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfast is top notch. There is a large assortment. They make their own bread even. The location is perfect. Right up the road from the old town and far enough away to stay quiet throughout the night. A great place to stay.

Family room with interconnecting door was great for a family of 5. Beds were comfortable. Well located, easy stroll into the old town. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good.
Air conditioning didn't work at all and the rooms looked onto a busy street so opening the windows wasn't an option. Finding the parking was a bit tricky as there are no signs on the street. Round the back of the hotel, through the gap in the buildings that looks like a housing estate, turn left then right and you'll see the gate.
