Beautiful renovated Hotel Particulier The building itself is well maintained. We booked two rooms and there were really big, with a lot of space and places to put your clothes, the high ceiling in the bedrooms is impressive and gives a royal feeling which is really nice. The bedrooms were clean and had everything you could need of, like electric kettle, coffee machine, mini fridge with a bottle of water. We found some Calissons on our bed which is a very nice way to taste traditional pastries. The bed is very comfortable and we slept really well is this nice and clean linen. There is a connected tv with YouTube and Chromecast. The spa area is clean too, with a nice little pool and steam. The breakfast offer different choices of food, sweet and salty one which is perfect, you can of course ask if you want something specific like scramble eggs or coffee or hot chocolate to the staff people. Talking about the staff people they were all very nice, smiley and helpful if you had any request, it's pleasant to stay in a hotel where the people working there do like what they are doing and offer a great service.

Some relaxing music will be appreciated in the Spa area as well as in the bar area which will give a good ambiance. The pool was a bit dark for me with the tiles colour, and the chair as well all black, some colour will make this area even more beautiful.

The hotel and room were beautiful. We were on the 4th floor and there was a balcony that had a view of the Cathedral. Location was great, walking distance to the everything by the port. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large/spacious. The underground pool and jacuzzi was relaxing. Robin was our point of contact by email and he was extremely helpful and accommodating. Response time was in a timely manner and when we actually met him during the stay, he was very friendly.

Main issue is the hotel advertises that you have access to the island, Degaby Island, which you do not. There is a restaurant there and you have to schedule with them directly. The concierge tried to help us get reservations, but were unsuccessful. It seems like traveling there by boat if windy can decrease your chances of getting there. I’m not sure if access is only during the summer, but there really was no explanation. Their website says you have access to the island, a boat ride, and areas to relax and swim. This is false. We had no access at all.

Comfortable, chic design that is not overwhelming. Beautiful room and very well appointed. Excellent bar and food. Wonderful accommodating staff. Easy location for getting around the city.

Nothing negative to say. Anything minor was addressed when queried.

Excellent service from the hotel. Beautiful inside and so relaxing!! A particular thanks goes to the concierge Mathieu who organised so much for us for our stay to booking restaurant meals for us and a boat trip to the Calanques! Will definitely be staying here again!

The hotels jacuzzi and steam room were not working during our stay which was unfortunate but the hotel upgraded us to a Prestige room to compensate for this which didn't disappoint but I'd suggest that the hotel does ensure that all facilities are working so as to fulfil all customers expectations.

Great location in Marseille. Close to old town Marseille as well as Notre Dame. The staff is very friendly and has really good recommendations for sightseeing, shopping and dining. We really loved everyone at the front desk and concierge.

The property is undergoing renovation so there are some smells from that and the spa is under construction as well. The bathroom tile and grout could use a good scrub.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel and would absolutely stay again if I am ever in Marseille. The location was great and walking distance to the pier and lots of shops and restaurants without being directly in the crowds of people. I experienced phenomenal service from everyone I encountered. I received an email when I first booked, which was unexpected and a nice touch. Housekeeping would come around multiple times a day to ask if you needed anything, which was just that extra bit of service that made you feel taken care of. The water in the mini fridge being restocked with water all the time was much appreciated. I did get a massage at the spa- the normal masseuse was on vacation but they had someone on call if you wanted a massage. The infused water and tea always available was nice. I was able to enjoy the outdoor bar area and had delicious craft cocktails made by the bartenders. The beds were super comfy and large and I slept so great- I actually booked this trip when I was staying at an Airbnb out of the country with a horrible bed and reading about the comfortable beds was one of the reasons I chose this hotel and I was not disappointed. I am glad I chose a smaller/boutique hotel because it really added to the calming, vacation/holiday feel. I did use the pool/hot tub and I will say the pool is small and more for standing than swimming as it is not very deep- that is not a criticism, just an fyi. Overall, I had a great time here and recommend it to others.

The only downside I experienced was the shower did seem to get water everywhere in the bathroom which I can't imagine is good for the rooms or for housekeeping to deal with. That said, I have experienced the same type of scenario at multiple hotels/airbnbs in Europe (I'm from the US) so that may not be something out of the ordinary and just something I am not used to.

Breakfast was fantastic. Front desk/concierge was very helpful. Went over the top for us.

First impression was a bit worrisome but when we entered and saw that the “old” had been kept while adding new modern facilities was very, pleasing.

Room was outstanding, floor to ceiling windows which allowed great light into the room. Hotel was very peaceful and staff were very helpful whenever a request was made. Everything added up to a very pleasant stay.

Breakfast wasn’t included and was quite expensive which was a bit of a negative.

An exquisite boutique experience in Marseilles. The design was beautiful, elegant and peaceful. The property is set off the most main part of town that is quite busy, but very close to all attractions. And the hotel food was superb!! Was very impressed and will stay again when next in Marseilles.
