The room was amazing. The location is also really good. Close to the airport but also to Hamburg centrum.

We loved it all. Only downside was that they charged us 3 times for the hotel, and I had to call them to get told to write them. We payed with Apple pay at check-in but apparently their system and applepay isn't good friends :) All they asked us to do it again.... And then again at checkout. If they didn't have charged us 3 times I would give them 10 stars. Best hotel we stayed at in Germany. And we travel a lot, and sleep on different hotels in Hamburg. Courtyard is by far the best we have stayed at. Room and the service is top class. We didn't try the pool or the dinner, but will do so the next time But they fixed it pretty quickly.

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff were fantastic and all spoke English which was great since I don't speak German. The restaurant and bar staff were particularly exceptional and went out of their way to entertain my 4 year old daughter - thank you so much! The complimentary hotel shuttle was the best part - used it throughout our stay to pick and drop from the airport so we could catch the direct train into the city center. The swimming pool is small but really cute and clean - was a bit cold though. We didn't get to see everything we wanted during our short so we'll be returning to Hamburg and will definitely stay at the same hotel.

The pillows are too small and relatively uncomfortable for my liking. I requested for extra ones and was given more small ones so well...it's what it is:-) Would be great if they could get standard sized pillows.

The hotel was very accommodating. As our flight to Hamburg was early we request a room be available with little expectation, but there was one ready! The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.The free airport transport was fast and efficient as well. Despite proximity to the airport the room was quiet with no external noise. The room and beds were comfortable. The U bahn nearby meant accessing the city centre was easy with a regular service.

No negative comment

You will not think it is an airport hotel as very cozy and warm. I did not use it but there were coffee and tea available by departure. Also very handy they sell toiletries at reception and small snacks.

I was not able to connect to hotel wifi, not sure if room number as user had to be with 0 or just the room number. I rather sleep in a very hard bed and that was not the case but it is a personal request. I was leaving before the first transfer time. It would be good to have a taxi list at reception in order to be able maybe to share ride to airport with other guests leaving at the same time!?

Staff were very pleasant. Bar staff were very attentive and it was great that there was life in the bar and that everything didn't close up early. Our room was very spacious. My husband took advantage of the fitness and pool facilities. Shuttle to and from airport was very handy. Underground to the city centre nearby.

We had a problem with the noisy air conditioning that couldn't be fixed on our first night. It was fixed the next day, but the noise returned on our last night. There were workmen there when we left. We had a junior suite, but even that had very little cupboard space. It would be better if breakfast was served till 11 o'clock and if the staff asked if you wanted anything else before they started hoovering the floor!

Lovely room and facilities, good location and great food. Most of the staff were very friendly.

We were asked to leave the breakfast TWO times. We have never been rushed and asked to leave the breakfast. We had invited two guesta to come and eat with us and we felt very embarrassed. We started eating at 8.30 and already at 9.10 a waitress started to ask us to leave! The breakfast was on until 10.30 so they were not about to close.

Staff were fantastic! Always greeting us with a smile and always helpful! We had 13 people for Sunday Brunch and they happily reserved tables all set and ready when we arrived. Service was impeccable! Even served champagne and a special cocktail for our guests. THANK YOU EVERYONE at MARRIOTT COURTYARD Hamburg Airport for OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

Offer a coffee bar for those that choose NOT to pay 26 euros each for buffet breakfast and only want a good cup of coffee.

The room was great. Very, very comfortable bed and even the sofa bed where the kids slept was comfy. Spacious with ample room to move after a few hours travelling. Close to the Hamburg metro bringing you directly to the city center in 20-30 minutes. Good room service with tasty food and big portions. An amazing breakfast (worth the money) with ample choice, fresh food and nice service by the staff

Parking lot was a tight fit and barely spaces left. Not enough chairs in the room for all 4 of us to sit and eat the room service :)

Closeness to the airport (~ 10 mins. walk) Noise of planes during night hours inexistent due to no no flights. Double windows otherwise to cancel out noise. Cosy room, chair and little fridg,e very handy! Friendly staff. Nice layout of the hotel.

All the way up to check out it sounded to me as if parking in their underground garage was free for guests. The wording in the leaflet and by reception never mentioned a price and how much. Does not cost excessive, especially when considering the close airport but it would have been nice to know. Maybe my fault for not questioning /seeing / finding it .

The room and the hotel was in very good condition. Sound proofing was excellent. No disturbing sounds from the airport or neighboring rooms. The lobby was cosy, relaxed and comfortable, sort of like a living room. We also liked the lounge area next to the lobby where you could sit together to do some work. The room was quite spacious even though the bathroom was perhaps a little bit compact. The restaurant was nice and clean and had a decent dinner menu. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. We also really appreciated the free of charge transfer service to and from the airport. Very convenient!

Only thing that comes to mind is that one or two among the staff in the restaurant acted a bit morose, not very friendly. Maybe they just had a bad day? Didn't have a chance to use the gym this time but sure will if/when i come back.
