The location is very nice, the hotel is at the center of venice. Our room was very good too with a balcony facing the canal.

As soon as I booked my stay I got a link from the hotel to pay my stay immediately, I couldn't click on the link so I explained I was unable to click on it and id like to pay when there since if was booked on my credit card anyway. They threatend to cancel my booking and I rushed to the hotel to make sure they didn't. This left a bad taste in my mouth. Booking should let us know which hotel you need to pay immediately so you can avoid it if you have no time. The location was good the room very small for the money I payed. Thank you to the hotel but id rather stay somewhere else.

There is a door between my single and the double next door. I can hear lots of personal conversations from the people next door. Today, I finally had to knock on their door and inform them of this, so we will see whether things improve. Incidentally, I have prolonged my stay 7 days, which should be one indication of my satisfaction with the hotel. I am here to do research at the Biblioteca Marciana, so the location is superb. The personnel are MOLTO GENTILI.

The elevator!! Quite complicated. Also, the hotel was difficult for me to find. My cellphone died, and I had to ask many people. You should provide a HARDCOPY map or a digital map showing the location, since it is actually not that hard to explain, at least to some like me who has been to Venice many times.

The location on the canal is superb and convenient to St. Mark's Square and surrounding areas. The hotel is clean, staff friendly and accommodating, breakfast is ample and delicious. My only suggestion would be to move the coffee station to another location so the breakfast line could move faster. I would recommend this hotel whole heartedly and I plan another stay here upon my next visit to Venice!

The Camera Room was special it overlooked the canal and little bridge which led onto St Mark's Square, which was a two minute walk from the Hotel. It was spacious with a comfy bed and large ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower and bidet. Staff were friendly and the hotel clean and run efficiently. The breakfast was a relaxed affair and plenty of choice.

One reviewer said there was not any kettle in the rooms( not unusual for some hotel rooms in Europe) so used my UK travel kettle. The hotel website did not state that you can pay a 20 euro deposit for a kettle in your room also for the plug sockets, as my travel plug did not fit. It would be helpful if the hotel website details mentioned this facility for hiring a kettle and plugs! We did not stay for a drink in the hotel bar for a night cap as there were rowdy hotels residents on two nights.

The check-in and check-out were very efficient and friendly; the location is phenomenal for all kinds of activities, be it on foot, or by vaporetto from St. Marks' Square, or by Gondola directly in front of the hotel. The breakfast buffet is great, only I couldn't find a toaster for the toast.

The rooms are rather poorly sound-proofed, you basically can overhear the conversations next door. Luckily, no-one was watching TV all night so we could rest well. Our room windows went to a quiet back alley, so no noise from outside. The shower did not have much water pressure, but did the job.

Brilliant location for seeing most of venice, right next to St marks square. Staff at breakfast were fantastic, very polite. The cooked breakfast was scrabbled egg and bacon, and the continental was plentiful, I've nothing bad to say. Our room over looked the basin which was nice. The room was clean. You can pull right up to the hotels private landing in a water taxi and they also can call for one to get back to the airport €160. It was nice sitting outside the hotel having a drink watching the world go by. It's by no means cheap but where is in venice. I recommend this hotel.

No tea making facilities in the room. Other than that everything was perfect.

The location of this property is superb, and I recommend it very strongly to visitors to Venice. This aspect outweighs all other considerations (it is 70m from the Piazza San Marco), and some small other more negative considerations need to keep this overwhelming aspect in sight. The staff are well trained, helpful and knowledgeable. They are pleasant and a delight to deal with. I do recommend this hotel very highly, even if small matters irritate.

The decisions being made in relation to the breakfast need to be revisited, and its quality does not reach the appropriate standard. There is no variation made on a standard daily and ordinary presentation, and the egg products being offered seem to have a very strange origin, and I noticed over the five days a very positive rejection (including the four of us) of all egg products (where did they come from?) from most guests. No toaster is a sad loss, and needs reinstatement. The bread is average to ordinary and ends a real revamp. With an older customer group, the bran products need reintroduction now, as we rely on these for proper daily functioning, an important matter.

I had the most wonderful time in Venice. One of the best things was staying at this beautiful hotel. It stood out from the rest by a mile. It's so aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I loved everything about it. The location, the atmosphere around, and within the hotel. It was spectacular. To have a gondola service right outside was a bonus. Especially during breakfast when you can look outside from the dining area. The concierge was always at hand when required. Reception is always approachable and friendly. The room / bathroom was a good size. It was well maintained. It was also very peaceful and quiet during our stay, despite being a full packed hotel. We also used the hotel private taxi boat service to get to the airport on the last day. That was superb and well worth the money. I am planning to come back to Venice next year and will be looking to come back here for another stay.

Breakfast was really good large variety of good. Room was facing the canal couldn’t get any better than that. Rooms are typical European size. Location was perfect steps away from San Marco square. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, 30 minute walk from Santa Lucía Train Station.

Everything was great we had no complaints.

The location and staff were superb. The lady who cleaned our room was beyond exceptional. We were in the top floor with a balcony room overlooking the basin.

The hot offerings for breakfast were a complete let down. The scrambled eggs appeared to have been from a packet and were disgusting. The bacon was also extremely salty. Please change this element as the rest of the hotel and staff were all perfect. A suggestion would be to have some form of toaster in the breakfast room and some bread. This is the first hotel of its star rating anywhere in the world where there hasn’t been a toaster and the eggs so awful.
