The women receptionist was exceptional and met us at the boat and escorted us to the hotel. She was so accommodating!

The day we left which was early morning bc they didn't have a taxi back later and we only stayed in Venice 8 hours. The evening receptionist male refused to assist us to the dock and I had to make 2 trips bc my husband was in a wheelchair.

The location was excellent and a short walk from San Marco square and San Marco Vaporetto. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. However, it was a bit tight with two large bags. This was our first trip to Venus and the front desk staff were very helpful with recommendations. There is a neat little rooftop bar. The breakfast was good. It was set up as a buffet, but they require one of the staff to actually put the food on your plate which was a bit strange. The house cleaning staff would put little treats in your room like chocolates on your pillows at night which we thought was a nice touch!

The A/C in our room struggle to keep us cool and is controlled by the front desk. I called every day to have them turn it to the coolest temperature possible. It took a while to cool down. There a no face cloths in Italy so bring your own.

Location is amazing, the view from the terrace is really nice for your welcome drink, not very noisy at night, very clean and we got clean towels everyday with some little treat like a chocolate or a cookie, I really enjoyed my stay, one of the best experiences I’ve had , the staff is also very sweet 🥰 gave us so many tips , and the hotel app is very helpful, we will be back!

The breakfast buffet is not really a buffet, you have to wait in a queue for your turn to be served, you’re not allowed to touch anything, they would get mad at you 😂 I don’t fully understand the logic, but ok, it was not that bad :)

Staff on the front desk is friendly and helpful, especially on the check in, give a lot of recommendations. Location is in the middle of the most tourist attractions. If you like be in the middle of the crowds and access to everything fast - this is your place. Rooms are in good shape, and sweet decorated. taste and quality of the breakfast is very good.

the concept @ the breakfast, that you can not pick up your food from the buffet, but need to tell the waitress what you want, while standing both infront of the buffet. When I ask, "why this concept?" the answer was: "because we want you feel on holidays, and you don´t need to do it, we do it for you." For me it sounds like " we force you to feel like on holidays and you are not allowed to pick up something from this buffet by your own.... ". :-) We had in total a good stay, but this concept is for me personally not really customer friendly/oriented, especially the answer of the staff, related to my question.

The location is great. 30 seconds by walk to the San Marco Square. The street under the window is quite cloudy but the crowd disappears in the night. Everything is clean and in the bathroom everything works fine.

The room is super small. The hotel is very small. Thought this looks like to be the normal as for the old Venice location. The breakfast - a bit annoying that you cannot take whatever you like from the buffet, you have to order and waiter will give you what you just have ordered. Are you saving food that way? How much did you save (taking to account the price of the room 200+ euro, wtf?)

An excellent location just off St Mark's Square and only three minutes to the nearest ferry landing. A charming room facing the street which, although busy with pedestrians during the day, was quiet enough at night. The rooftop terrace was a welcome haven for a quiet coffee or sundowner. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, with sightseeing tips and anytime bar service to the terrace, dining room or bedrooms.

There was nothing we didn't like and we would not hesitate recommending this hotel to friends and family. We will book it again when we return to Venice. Four nights was not nearly long enough!

The staff were perfect in every way possible. They went over and above to anticipate your needs. Riccardo even helped fix my luggage handle bc Brics Milano did not have it in stock yet. Perfect location across from LV, behind Piazza SM, near the Post Office Philatelic Bureau and down the block from the gondola and vaporetto stations. The stone signage is on the ground and inside a courtyard. Cozy bright airy room on the 4th floor with French doors to a terrace and view of Venezia. Elevator to third with luggage help coming and going for the last floor. Terrific paint job, lovely Morano glass lighting fixtures and Venetian scenes for paintings. Nice size comfortable bed and pillows. Armoire with enough hangers and space sufficient to hang a week of apparel. Safe for valuables tho I used my suitcase. Full length mirror on back of armoire door. Desk, chair and fridge stocked with drinks to buy tho the welcome drinks and daily snacks of chocolate, Venetian cookies, fruit were delicious and free. Bathroom consisted of toilet, bidet, sink, tub and shower. Plenty of warm water, towels and heated floors. Sunny rooftop terrace for drinks and relaxation. Breakfast plentiful with traditional Venetian sweet breads as well as everything more Northern European. Nice mezzanine location. Hotel is the perfect location for all the events of Carnevale, viz. the balls, dinners, operas at La Fenice, dress ups, museums, churches, music…

Our arrival at the Hotel Firenze was wonderful and the staff continued a super level of service all the way through our stay. The bedroom was first class - very clean with a spacious bathroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever had in a hotel. The breakfasts were plentiful and very tasty. The location of Hotel Firenza could not have been better, being very near to a vaporetto stop and right beside St. Mark square. There were plenty of places to eat, within an easy walk. There is nothing that we can think of that we were unhappy about. We would highly recommend a stay at Hotel Firenze.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Firenze in Venice. The location could not have been better – just steps away from everything, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. What truly made our stay special was the amazing staff. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience. Their knowledge, kindness, and genuine hospitality were truly impressive and made us feel completely taken care of. We highly recommend asking the hotel to arrange a private boat tour – they even included a bottle of wine for us, which made it even more special. Taking the tour at sunset was magical and one of the highlights of our trip. Hotel Firenze is a gem in the heart of Venice. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it wholeheartedly. Very good location with walking distance to most attractions. Staff is super friendly and provided very detailed advice for our visit. Breakfast is a buffet but you need to have the staffs help you grab the food, which is not common but not a problem as the staffs are friendly and willing to provide as much as you need. The croissant sandwich is good.

The room is a bit small, not enough space to open the luggage. The decoration is a bit old fashioned.
