Beds were very comfortable. Location is close to the beach and the Redwood Forest. Bathrooms were very clean, and everything worked in the room. Very close to restaurants, like 1/10 of a mile away or just across the street. On our last night there, we needed extra towel and they brought them, 2130hrs.

Pool and spa was closed. And I wonder about our security there. Management spent a lot of money to put in a kiosk, so you never deal with a live human. You have to wonder with the homeless, in the area how secure are you???

Staff was really friendly. Not sure the ladies name at the front desk with the really short hair, had a smile and very friendly. Knew her job, was very pleasant to work with. The owner would say when he walked around the parking lot.

Not sure what more you could do for a budget motel. It had a few cosmetic issues that most people would fix at home but don't take a second look at while on vacation, or even notice. The 3 button didn't work on the remote.

The room was very clean and because I am handicapped, the room met all of my needs from the easy way to get in and out of the shower to being able to reach for everything I needed. The customer service was great. Nice and very friendly. I have already recommended the Motel 6 in Arcata,CA to some of my friends who travel alot on US HWY 101.

The property was overall very clean and well organised. It was nice not to worry about room service coming into the room due to me leaving electronics out.

While the insides of the property were amazing, the outside did leave a little to be desired. There was random trash about that I would see left after multiple days. However, other than that it was a good experience

The floors have been stained with paint or grime in one instance The bathroom showers have been useful but also could be better cleaned Grime on the walls of the shower and near the drains

I was very pleased with my room. The staff were all very nice and accommodating and the room itself was beautifully styled. I've seen other reviews mentioning a recent renovation and my room seems to have been one of those renovated because it was so nice and up to date. The bathroom in particular was designed so well. The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was little noise from outside so I was able to rest. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone who would want a nice room on a budget

The staff were great and so kind/accommodating, location was ideal. I saw the sunrise in the morning from my room. My son goes to Humboldt which was why I decided to get a room in Arcata. Looked like everything was freshly remodeled and the price was less than half of what surrounding hotels are charging. Almost everything in the room looked relatively new. So I based my review on economics, proximity, helpfulness and cleanliness.

I would appreciate if the price for one person would be less than for two or even more. The room with two beds was actually the same as the one with just one.

i like is clean here and smells nice. Also i can see the curtains and blankets are brand new!

the location is hidden but i guess this is where the motels are in this town 🤷‍♀️. Its goos for what it is

Quiet. Nice price.

The bed was very high. I'm 5'6" and could not get into bed. It was up to my belly button. Needed a step to get in. Lower the frame for smaller people.
