Great location and the room was clean. This was our second stay at this location and we would happily stay again.

The freezer part of the fridge was not cold enough to freeze our ice bricks. And on a personal issue, the bed was too hard for my wife to sleep comfortably.

Very happy with my room. Very nice and friendly staff and manager. Will be back next year.

The property is clean, quiet and in a great location. Topped up tea, coffee and biscuits and milk and the cups were cleaned everyday in a dishwasher. It was very handy having a microwave too. Cleaning Service everyday was great. Lovely to come back to your room at the end of the day to a nice tidy room.

Walls are a little thin can hear people talking outside your room particularly people talking loudly early in the morning while you are still sleeping these are other inconsiderate patrons talking in their booming voices not concerned that people are still sleeping at 6.30am. Electric blankets would be great. But it didn’t ruin our stay that they weren’t there. Coffee shop across the road was wonderful bonus each morning too.

No toaster or microwave until asked for.

Room was basic, but comfortable and well maintained. The size was what you would expect for an older style motor inn. Ensuite was modern and newly renovated. Good hair dryer inside the vanity. Beds were comfortable. The split system air-conditioning was quiet and worked well. There were all the usual motel room facilities: small wardrobe with iron and ironing board, luggage stand, microwave, small bar fridge, 2 sets of plate, bowl, cups and cutlery. A bench along one wall with two chairs. No problem with parking. 2 bars of 5G Telstra mobile coverage. Location was quiet, with a good coffee shop directly across the road that opens early. Perfect for a short stay.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Partner & I were travelling on motorbikes, and we requested a room where our bikes were close by (for security) which the motel was able to accommodate. The location of the motel was excellent being right near the centre of Nowra, so we could walk to a cafe for breakfast, or there is a coffee & donuts shop right across the road. The rooms were so well prepared, reception staff lovely, communication excellent, hence 10/10. Would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Nothing - everything was excellent

The room was spacious & fully equipped with amenities that surpassed my expectations. The inclusion of a fridge and microwave was not only convenient but also a thoughtful touch that added to the overall comfort of the space. What impressed me even more was the presence of not just cups, but plates and cutlery, providing an extra layer of convenience for guests. They also provide a coffee plunger with coffee powder! Cleanliness is paramount for any traveler, and this motel exceeded expectations in this regard. The beds, including the sofa bed, were exceptionally comfortable, offering a restful night's sleep that was much appreciated after a long day of travel. One standout feature that deserves special mention is the shower. The water pressure was superb, turning a simple act like washing my hair into a pleasurable experience. After a lengthy journey, this was a welcome surprise and a testament to the motel's commitment to guest satisfaction. Oh, they even supply makeup remover wipes in the bathroom, how thoughtful! Overall, my stay at Geroge Bass was a truly a pleasant experience. It combines comfort, convenience, and cleanliness seamlessly, making it a hidden gem for travelers seeking a reliable and pleasant accommodation option. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone travelling to Nowra.

As the room is very close to the car park, it may get noisy in the morning when guests from other rooms checking out or talking loud.

Everything about this motor inn was excellent. It is a perfect place to stay and very central if you are touring. Every facility you could wish for was provided and the accommodation was first class. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable bed, comfy settee so you didn't have to watch tv sitting on the bed and a table and chairs. A fridge and microwave were also provided. The bathroom was huge and the shower very powerful. There was nothing they hadn't thought of to make for a home from home stay. Fantastic owners, very friendly and extremely helpful.

There was nothing to fault, everything was amazing.

The furnishing of the room was simple and unfussy, even slightly shabby - but everything worked. The couch and bed were comfortable, the internet worked, there was a good, comfortable sized shower (not over a bath), a well set out tray of tea/coffee bits and pieces, including biscuits (which has become rare) and television of adequate size. The greeting at the office was friendly, and when I asked if I could sit in my room (bags packed and ready to walk out the door) for as long as possible at check out time, because I had time to fill before an appointment, the person in charge told staff to leave my room until last, which gave me an extra two hours. The location, close to he Library and Art Gallery worked for me and proximity to the Bridge and main route north. Excellent coffee/bakery over the road.
