Very good location, friendly owners, clean apartman, very comfy beds, nice seaview. Supermarket very near, Yialos beach within a few meters walk and this is a lovely seaside with beach bars and reastaurant, so the location is really excellent.

I missed at least one plate, fork, knife. Because of the young guests, the nights were really noisy. Yelling, screaming, speaking, laughing, shoting doors till 1-2am. We could hear every sentence if our neighbours had conversations. I think we followed all the rules which asked to be quiet but nobody else did.

Amazing place owned by locals. Helena and Theo are extremely kind and friendly. The hotel is really clean and tidy. The location is exceptional really close to the beach and it is yet still very quiet environment.Around the corner there is a shop and there is a lot of bars all along up the port. The sea is very clean and the access from ferry super easy.Also lovely hike around the coast.Loved it. I will come back!

Excellent location: very close to Yialos beach and the port (5-6 minute walk), very quiet & safe area, mini market nearby, and only a 15-20 minute walk from the Chora main town and also the Skarkos archaeological site. The amenities were excellent too: bed was very comfortable, AC worked well, view and balcony were nice, bathroom good, and wifi was good (although on the first day it was a bit patchy, and took some tries to log on, but otherwise it worked well). The staff were very nice and helpful, and gave good recommendations on places and beaches to visit.

Nothing much; all was good. The staff are quite strict about no noise rules and outside visitor rules, but that makes sense.

The property was extremely clean. The rooms were very well turned out Theo and Anna with fantastic hosts. They couldn’t do enough for me. I would definitely go there again. I was very very happy. It was also very near the beach and a little shop very convenient. very nice place very nice people.

Excellent location, it is 5 minutes away from the port of Ios and there is a very nice beach just outside the hotel. The owner welcomed me in the best way possible, he was there for every question and always willing to help me. I need to mention the best about their hospitality. I was provided with great advice on where to go and where to eat well. The room was super clean and I had new towels every day. During my stay I felt very welcome. The hotel has amazing outdoor spaces to relax. I will definitely stay there again and I recommended the hotel to my parents and my friends. The best option in Ios!

I liked everything. Regarding negative comments: I think that it is normal to fully respect the privacy and other guests by complying with the rules. All hotels have rules and they must be respected. I found everything very fair and normal. The owners want every day that all guests are happy.

I was very impressed with the property itself as it was extremely nice, clean, right by the beach and with an incredible sea view! But the staff was even more amazing! I couldn’t thank Theo (owner of the property) enough for all the help he gave me after I broke my ankle on my second day. Theo not only lent me his own crutches but also took me to the hospital and constantly checked on me afterwards. At the end of my stay he also offered to take me to the port where he made sure the ferry staff gave me a wheelchair so that I’d be more comfortable on the ferry ride. Theo went way out of his way to ensure I still enjoyed my stay even though I had a broken ankle and I couldn’t thank him enough for that! Staying at Hotel Helena is a MUST :)

I enjoyed everything about this hotel

This hotel has the perfect location. In less then 5 min you can walk to the beach. There are also a lot of bars and cafes nearby. The hosts were really nice people and very helpfull. The beds were also confortable.

Keep in mind that the bathroom is small.

Good location less than five minutes walk to beach but not the best beach in Ios . Also only ten minutes walk to port. Friendly host. Clean room with small refrigerator.. Good price. Bus possible uphill to Chora town center. About 1km walk back to hotel downhill.

No cooking possible. Wi-Fi does not work in rooms. Only downstairs on terrace.

Perfect location - takes a couple of minutes to get to a lovely town beach and not far at all to the rest of the town. Hotel was clean and comfortable and had an amazing sea view from our balcony. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful in regards with recommendations and telling us the best ways to get to Chora (main town) There’s a nice communal area to sit aswell where you can get to know other people staying there ! would definitely stay here again

It was really pretty and comfortable even if the room was a bit small we had a huge balcony which made it perfect. The owners are lovely and they are willing to help you as soon as you have an issue
