My stay at this place in Ella was absolutely incredible! The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and the beds were super comfortable. The lobby was a fantastic place to meet people, and I made so many new friends. The dining area had a cool vibe, and the guests felt like family. The staff were some of the kindest people I’ve ever met—they took great care of everyone, making it a welcoming and fun environment. We played games at night, and it was always full of fun and entertainment. The breakfast was huge and delicious and the location was perfect—close to the railway station and surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful escape from the busy city. There’s also a BUSTOP right opposite the hotel, which is convenient for getting to the city, although the buses aren’t very frequent. They also offers bike rentals, which made exploring the city easy and enjoyable. Overall, this was the best stay of my life—a truly unique and unforgettable experience!

If I could give the service 10 stars, I would. The guesthouse is nice and cozy, and the rooms are clean! The location is great and the view from the balcony is incredible. They serve the best food and drinks. There is a small grocery store upstairs and they rent scooters. But the very best thing about this guesthouse is the host and the hostess, they're both very young and they've build this company from scratch. They are honestly the most loving people in the world! We have extended our stay because this place felt like home the from the moment we arrived. We highly recommend. :)

Our host, Nimantha was an affectionate, impeccable and a professional human! For illustration, he went out of the way and got us the room we desired. It was a slip-up from our end, yet he came to our rescue. Our check in process was seamless. On our request, he arranged a traditional Sri Lankan wholesome breakfast for us. It was prepared by his doting grandma - delicious kiribath, mouth-watering kochchi and bread-butter and mother nature. A delightful experience. Our rooms were chic, comfortable and clean with mesmerizing nature views. My mom and lil brother enjoyed sipping hot coffee and soaking in these divine views on a hammock. Checked 'hammock amidst nature' off my bucket list, thanks to Nimantha and my goddess. Nimantha has become a family now.

There is absolutely NOTHING, we disliked about this property. Impeccable hospitality, seamless check in process and the charming views. We are in complete awe of this property and wish to revisit ASAP. Nimantha, see you super soon. This is unimpeachable.

The host it's amazing, anything you need for your stay from transport to information you have it. You won't go without it's perfect for backpackers and all travellers. Me and my partner are backpacking around Ella now, we originally choose a one nights stay and loved it so much we stay another night and looked to do a 3rd. We used the transport from our host multiple times a day anywhere we wanted to go always just a phone call away Tuk Tuk service at its best. super cheap and now 3 brand new scooters for hire are available. The best laundry service in 9 weeks of travelling washed ironed and packed happy times here.

The host and staff were so helpful and so kind. I was sick, and they made me soup, took me to the doctors and gave me tea and a blanket. Everyone was so kind and ready to help. They even called and arranged a taxi for us when we had to drive back to Colombo. We were given great recommendations of what to visit in and around Ella. The hostel itself was great, with amazing views. Thoroughly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Ella, it was a pleasure staying in this beautiful place with these beautiful people!

I had the pleasure of staying at this property for one night, and it was a truly positive experience, mainly thanks to the kindness and attentiveness of the owner and manager. Their warm welcome made all the difference and turned our short stay into a memorable one. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere, spacious rooms, and outstanding service that goes above and beyond. If I’m ever in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Maybe the position a little bit out from the centre

Beautiful view, amazing location, rooms are lovely with comfortable beds. It’s a short walk down the road to the train tracks which you can follow into town, about a 30min walk. We got chatting to the owners and they were so warm and welcoming and showed us around the property, even got to meet her dogs and her grandpa. She even took me upstairs to a couple of deck chairs overlooking the valley where I got to relax with a beer. They really went above and beyond for us and it’s such a beautiful spot I would definitely come back.

The location is perfect! Just 15 min walk to the city center. So you dont hear the city but everything is really close. Room was very nice and clean! And i finely had a good bed so i loved it. The owners are super friendly and willing to help you with everything. You can rent a scooter here for a good price to visit a lot of nice places in the area. The breakfast and dinner is also very good! Overall i love this place and i will come back for sure

Everything was way above my expectations!

Our stay was unforgettable—the view from the room was absolutely stunning, overlooking lush jungle and mountains, with the added bonus of watching the sunrise right from bed. The room was spacious and peaceful, giving us plenty of room to relax and soak in the surroundings. What truly made the stay special was the staff—very, very, very kind, warm, and always going the extra mile to make us feel at home. A peaceful retreat with views and vibes that are hard to beat.

The staff was nice and friendly. The breakfast was ok. It's quiet silent at night, after the restaurant at nearby closed. There was 2 markets nearby. The working logic is complicated, but they had hot water in the shower.

Wi-fi was not stabile and was slow. The ligthning of the room could be better. I can't say it was dirty, but there is a room for improvement. The view was nice. But if you don't use a scooter or don't want to use tuktuk, the location is not for you.
