The rooms were large and comfortable. We had 2 queen beds and three people and had plenty of space. The hotel and its facilities were clean and new. The restaurant/bar downstairs was exquisite.

It was great, if I was to be really picky where are room was located was down a long and winding hallway that was just off of all the conference rooms so it did feel a bit like a conference centre rather than a luxury hotel, but I am sure you could request not to be on the 2nd floor and the higher floors feel more like a true hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were wonderful!!

This didn't have anything to do with the actual hotel, but when we went to check in they said they couldn't find my reservation which I booked on booking.com in August (approximately 4 months before my stay). Somehow, my reservation didn't get to the hotel. I was very disappointed with booking.com (I've never had an issue like this before); however, the hotel absolutely made it right and upgraded our room to a suite and it was a wonderful stay!!

The location is perfect for any and all tourist activities. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel itself was much nicer than we expected having looked at the photos online and the reviews. The fact that the rooms are quite large is a real bonus when travelling with the family. We also took advantage of the gym and the pool. My younger children weren't interested in any of the food on offer, so we didn't have breakfast in the hotel. Its a fairly grownup menu. Furthermore, the staff bent over backwards to ensure we have a great stay. They provided extra blankets, there was an issue with our bill that they spent ages going over with me (the problem turned out to be with my British bank and not the hotel at all). There was no blame, or frustration, we worked together to resolve it and they were very professional. One day when there was as a surprise rain storm, they even had umbrellas to lend us at the front desk. Really great week spent there.

Location was very convenient. The room was spacious and very clean. Housekeeping were fantastic and did a great job cleaning our room which was occupied by a family of 4. Swimming pool was very clean and empty. My family and I managed to use it three times for a 7 night stay.

Some confusion at the front desk - I asked the receptionist to call me a taxi to the airport for 6pm when I checked out at 1pm. The receptionist told me that the charge was a $65 flat rate. When I returned to the hotel, it took almost 30mins for a taxi to arrive. The taxi fare was $107 as I needed a bigger vehicle to accommodate my luggage. It would've been nice if the receptionist had informed me this.

The front desk staff, Julianna, who checked us in was SO amazing! My friend told her it was my birthday and Julianna had a hand written card and a desert sent to our room! She was so friendly and made some great recommendations of places we shpuld check out. Would definitely come back for staff like this! It was clean and cozy. We loved the couch in our room.

We would have liked if there was a little sitting area close to the music/ restaurant we could have sat at to listen to the music at night, without having to buy food. There were some sitting chairs by the front desk but they were around a corner and kind of "not part of the atmosphere". We also would gave liked if the terrace was open at night so we could sit pit yhere and see the night city.

Clean, modern hotel. Large room. Good happy hour at restaurant with half priced oysters and cocktails. But ruined by awful loud music. Great firm mattresses. Really good AC system.

Constant loud pop-elevator music in restaurant area that can be heard in lounge. Staff refused to turn it down. Bad location, but then again, there is no good location in Toronto. Poor view, but there are no good views in Toronto. Windows don’t open.

All Staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location of our hotel with respect to activities we participated was convenient and the street cars were easily accessible and served to keep us warm when out and about at night. We found that the Nespresso coffee capsules and maker in our room to be a really pleasant surprise because the coffee was so good! We also really enjoyed the L'Occitane toiletries and found that to be an enjoyable bonus. The lobby was also beautifully adorned with holiday decorations which served as a nice backdrop for family pictures.

This is a great hotel in an Ideal location on King west. Lots of great places to eat close by. Pretty much everything is within walking distance. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had an early arrival to the city so we weren't able to check in right away. The staff kept our luggage safe while we explored the city for a few hours. Will definitely stay here again. We managed to get a decent deal because we booked quite far in advance. It was a win/win.

No complaints at all!

The location is outstanding. You walk out of the hotel and you're in downtown Toronto, eight minutes from the BlueJays, 10 minutes from the lake, 15 minutes from the Art Gallery (Which is excellent), the only walk we took that was a little too long there and back was maybe the University/ROM. It's a beautifully finished hotel that somehow lives in a culdesac and bang in the middle of town. Ice cream place across the road (it's just a cupboard so you have to find it) is great, you should check it out.

We were in room 212 which is right above the front door under current arrangements (hotel is getting an upgrade) and this door woke me up by frequent use on my first day, because I was sleeping early with jet lag. Maybe avoid this room, although it is beautifully finished witha great bath. There was nowhere to have coffee or breakfast during remodeling, no bar, and no restaurant.

The room and bathroom were large. The bed was enormous and very comfortable, we slept extremely well. The bathroom included quality toiletries. We used the pool and gym and they were more than adequate. The location was superb, bang in the centre, with so much to see and do within a 20 minute walk (the location would be perfect for anyone visiting the baseball). The TV having cable was a bonus.

A little tight with the milk for the coffee machine and the pods but that's easily fixed by asking for more.
