Loved staying at the WSLR! A nice weekend getaway overall! The check in process was honestly the best, the person who assisted me was kind and courteous and it made me feel welcomed upon arrival. Good first impressions. We also received bonus free vouchers for our stay and if we’d stayed a day or two longer would have made good use of them all. A nice surprise upon check in and greatly appreciated as the vouchers were used for our kids during the stay. We utilised the indoor pool and had a great time! Our kids parked scooters by the front reception, when we entered the pool. We didn’t have a chain to lock it into place and thought it would be ok. If you are travelling with bikes or scooters, recommend taking a locking device. One of our scooters went missing and the staff were absolutely great, followed processes which made us feel safe. By chance on the way back to our cabin, my husband found the scooter, another child had taken it from where we left it at the front outside reception. My husband called staff to let them know and we had no issues. Thank you to everyone for a lovely stay! We hope to travel back again in future.

Nothing not to like about the resort! Some suggestions: It might be nice to have some parking reserved for patrons to access the beach vs by foot, for families travelling with kids. Might be nice to have some communal pool toys for families to use in the pool, not too many perhaps some floating polls.

I liked the cleanliness of the room. The vouchers for coffees and lollies and little extras like beach buckets were a great touch. The mini Golf on site is also great for family entertainment. The indoor heated pool is a huge benefit and very warm to swim during the off season. The location is close to the beach which is very convenient and the facilities at the resort are also really good

The bed was a bit worn so it was sagging in odd places. I didn't have terrible sleeps so it can't have been too bad as I'm normally a fussy sleeper.

In a 2 bedroom bungalow, we could of fitted 8 people. Clean sheets, clean kitchen, full fridge, pool, right on the beach, we walked nearly to Bulli along a beach trail. Great staff. good little cafeteria. Even though the bungalows are reasonably close, it was quiet. Close to Uni if you are visiting your kids.

There were a few cockroaches. Not a big deal because the place is so clean and you just get them on the coast. Not much you can do about it. The ladies who clean do a great job and the place was spotless. Everything else was very good and we will stay again for sure.

Good size room. There were 2 bunk beds and 1 queen bed, though I'm solo so I just needed 1. I think for 1-3 people the space is decent. It was clean and well maintained. Wifi a tad slow but not unbearable. I didn't get to use their facilities like tennis courts and stuff so I can't say there.

There's a lot of kids though so expect it to be noisy from late morning to later evening (they do have sound curfew I think 8pm-10am). Shower rather tight fit. The deposit process was a hassle as it wasn't a hold but a full charge followed by a full refund.

The rooms were clean but the sheets on it were dusty. My partner and daughter are allergic to dust mites and this affected them badly. However, everything else was awesome. We will be coming back in future for sure. We are going to tell our families, friends and work mates about this lovely place. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

The bed linen needs to be looked into as they were dusty. My daughter and wife are allergic to dust and they had an uncomfortable time in the bed. The tennis and golf needs more time allocated for enjoyment.

Loved the location

We called a cab to get my husband, 3 children and my self from train station to there for our stay. The cab never showed up We waited for 4 hours. Before we gave up and looked for bus. We never got a bus. Until I called Illawarra taxi who arrived after 5min wait. We were so exhausted after a flight, from Proserpine to Sydney. Then train from. Sydney to woolongong. So we were so tired. But very unhappy with can service there.

The location, it was close to everything you could possibly need and the restaurant across the road was amazing. It is close to the beach and also the indoor pool with the spa was the kids favourite part honestly. Putt putt golf was a winner for the kids and had a little park which kept the kids entertained. The cabin also had everything you needed and was clean. Couldn't fault anything.

Friendly staff, reception open fairly late, very clean room. Location is great - near main road and local hotel with really great food, but not noisy.

I can understand why but it wasn't easy to walk through to the beach due to fences. However these fences gave us security and privacy so I'm glad they are there. Maybe a cheaper room for just one person would be nice.

I have been coming to Wollongong Surf Leisure Resort for around 20 years. it has such a good vibe, with an indoor pool, mini golf, bikes, a bistro and bottle across the road and of course - it’s right in the beach. I now have the pleasure of being my little girl here too - and we love making memories together.

There is nothing not to love. The showers are a bit tight but always clean and well maintained. Noise is not a problem here. There’s plenty to do - even when it’s raining.

Very responsive and friendly staff, helped with accommodation and suggested places to visit, helped with small requests not related to accommodation. Since it was raining the whole time we were there, we spent a lot of time in the pool. The water in the pool is very warm and comfortable for the whole family. Very clean and cozy room and area. Very good mattress in the room, slept just fine. I highly recommend it, we will definitely come here again!
