Amazing staff, Giancarlo was always very quickly available to help us with our requests. We had room number 2. Great views from balcony to the mountains and lake, sunrise coming into the house first thing in the morning. Very clean, furthermore the garden is very close and there could be more dust , ants or something like that. We had a little problem with ants but Giancarlo was very responsive and in an hour we had it solved. A true gem and garden of Eden 😊

We liked everything. We felt comfortable enough to go strolling down the road even though there was no sidewalk, as long as you are careful and aware and show yourself to drivers

Great location, facilities, view & staff. We had Apt 6 for our 7 day stay. It had great views, especially for the fireworks on July 12th. Lovely lake swims & walks. Good public transport links around the area & to Maggiore , Vassoie. The apartment was well equipped for cooking. Our coffee machine had a leaky seal & was replaced within an hour! Our towels were changed & our rubbish collected during our stay. Good value, especially we we had come from extortionist prices in Suisse! There wete a number of outdoor seating areas around the site. The lovely Giancarlo is a real asset!

The couch was uncomfortable to sit on, let alone be a bed. But there were other comfortable chairs to sit on. Our 3rd adult was only 160cm & her feet met the end of bed. Maybe the bed needs replacing with a king single & couch should go.

Lovely place close to the most amazing Lugano lake offering quick access to both Italian and Swiss parts of the lake and many nice places like Morcote. We received much larger than expected apartment with own garden, which was a lovely surprise. Hot tub was also a great unexpected addition (available for all guests). Super friendly and helpful staff. Love Lugano lake as it’s very clean, accessible and not overcrowded with tourists like e.g. Como. You can swim in many places. 

It could be cleaner. There are many decorations, which unfortunately gather dust and cobwebs. Shower cabin was misaligned and leaked badly, if not careful. Unfortunately on last day, a heavy smoker arrived in the apartment about ours, so we had to put up with constant cigarette smoke and being overlooked from a balcony. Luckily we only had to tolerate it for one day, otherwise we would have struggled as non-smokers.

We have stayed 1 week in this great place.. Giancarlo was really a great host. He prepared a great map where you can find everything useful around. He was very helpful when you had any queries or help.. Definitely planning to stay again. Location was great. Very close to Lugano and Como.. The apartment was big enough, beds are comfi as well. Everything was great....

Good sized, clean, comfy, dog friendly apartment with amazing views . Nice communal out door sunbathing area with a jacuzzi. Friendly family who gave us a lift on the last day when it was raining. Supermarkets, bus stops , bars etc are a 10 minute walk down hill. Train station ( in switzerland) is a 25 minute walk

Giancarlo made us feel very welcome. We felt secure, and liked that we had the kitchen for making light meals and balcony for extra outdoor space. We had a great week boating on the lake with friends and the Minerva residence was excellent value for money with the right mix of amenities and location for our holiday.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The owner Giancarlo welcomed us and was very helpful with our questions. All the rooms including bathroom has the view of the green mountains and lake Lugano. Very pretty.

The traffic towards the location is pretty congested and it took us 1.5 hour to drive 20min distance during rush hours. No dishwasher

First of all, I would like to point out that the host is extremely helpful and extremely polite! The accommodation is calm and quiet, it is easily accessible, it is close to the center, it can be reached on foot within 5-10 minutes. Switzerland is close, the neighboring settlement is already there, you can even take the train from here. The view?!?! ..... well, you have to see it! Thanks for everything Giancarlo!

Good price-quality ratio and good location to reach Lago Maggiore and Lugano. Shops and restaurants are nearby, within walking distance if you don't mind the climb back up. The decoration is tasteful and interesting with lots of fun details, there are enough hooks to hang our coats, and lots of drawers to place our clothing and personal items. Lighting is cozy and beds comfortable. The kitchenette is equipped with the basic cooking utensils. There is a washer and hair dryer and more than enough towels in the bathroom. Wifi is reliable and fast. The host is extremely accommodating and provided great tips for the area.

There is no option to use Netflix on the TV provided (or perhaps it was not obvious to me). And the access to the building is not step-free - there is a short flight of stairs before the entrance (manageable without too much luggage). The electric kettle looks a little old with stains so I didn't dare to use it.

We had a wonderful stay. The view was absolutely stunning, the place was spotlessly clean, and the facilities exceeded all expectations. The host was incredibly kind and helpful throughout.
