The location is perfect, all the attractions are within a 10 minute walk. The best thing about the hotel is the breakfast. The canteen is not big, but with its special decorations and casual atmosphere, it looks like a traditional Japanese restaurant. The food is not as rich as in a 5-star hotel, but every kind of food is well cooked and placed on the table. They also have special food for kids. The plates and bowls, the oven for baking bread, even the music, are all carefully prepared. The breakfast at this hotel is the best in my whole trip.

The window noise isolation is good, but the internal noise isolation can be improved.

The location is central, very close to the canal. It’s a bit of a walk to the train station if you’re carrying luggage though. The room is big and 3 of us were comfortable. The toilet and bath were also separated so it’s good.

There was 1 front desk staff who was not so friendly when I requested for a slightly later check out (by 30 mins only). It may also have been a communication issue too.

Our stay at the hotel was exceptional, primarily due to its outstanding service and prime location. The staff went above and beyond when we accidentally left a backpack containing our passports in a taxi. They tirelessly contacted the taxi company and coordinated with the driver to retrieve our belongings, showcasing their commitment to guest satisfaction. The hotel’s location made exploring the area convenient, with many attractions within walking distance. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable experience with excellent support from the staff.

The location of this hotel was very good, close to the canal and Sakaimachi Street. Nice breakfast with a lot of options.

The parking situation at this hotel was a little confusing. We showed up at the hotel 15 minutes before the check in time of 3pm and were turned away from the parking area. We had to drive away and ended up parking in a lot a few blocks away until check in time. When we returned at 3pm we were able to drop our bags at the front desk and were directed to park our vehicle in the "parking lift" garage. A new experience for us. The parking attendant was a nice older man who was very patient with us as we tried to figure out what we needed to do. He also gave us some tips on good places to eat.

Central location… close to the Main Street and attractions. All the staff were very friendly especially the receptionist who offered to bring our bags up to the room once it was ready as we arrived early and could not check in yet. He was very friendly and helpful and helped us order a taxi when we checked out and even came out to tell him where to go. The family room was comfortable and Breakfast had an excellent spread. The onsen was an added bonus after a long day out.

Nothing. Maybe if you want to add to the 5 star service, moisturiser and body lotion can be provided as part of the toiletries provided and in the onsen.

The staff were extremely attentive, polite, efficient, friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located to the Canal and within close proximity to restaurants and tourist facilities. It is also an easy walk from the station. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained. They are also spacious enough for a short stay with comfortable beds ensuring a good night sleep.

Because of its position one street back from the canal (through no fault of its own) - the view from the room was not very pleasant - but this is not something that the hotel can address. It is not something that detracted from the many other positive aspects that this hotel has to offer.

check in check out is great staff is efficient attentive, the room is just right for 3 . we dint take the breakfast in hotel as we wanted to try local eateries.. onsen is indoors and instructions are clear . location is great 5 min to the canal , 8 min to the shopping street, 10 min to JR station. area is safe and staff helped us book a sushi place that was needed reservation. room was arm, toilet is clean and modern. no complaints .great hotel

carpark is payable but its just across the road about $11 sgd. there is an alternative carpark 9 dollars just further down the road.

Location was great, right next to the canal and within walking distance to many good restaurants. We arrived a bit early and the staff were kind to let us park our car on the premises and enjoy some sightseeing before check-in time. We also given a dedicated carpark lot during our stay. There was a convenience store nearby which was also great.

Room was a bit small but quite typical of Japanese hotels.

I like the location, the breakfast, the public bath, the cleanliness, the laundry room and staff is also service minded.

I don't like a bit about the size of my room. I stayed in a japanese style room which is very small that I couldn't put my 30" luggage in the room, but fortunately I booked 2 rooms for my family and another room is cornered room which is big enough to put all 4 luggages in the room. So I didn't have a problem staying. I really like japanese style room here.

The hotel directed us to park at a carpark for Y1,500 for 24 hours which is fantastic value for money. There are many car-park that would charge Y200 for 20 mins in Otaru which is a hot tourist place. For the hotel itself, the room feels very new but it is relatively spacious if you just have 2 pax but a bit cramped with an added bed for 3 pax.

Nothing except that if you added an extra bed, the room feel a bit cramped.
