Perfect location near wide and beautiful beach where is everything (restaurants, bars etc.); close to tram stop - beautiful way to city centre (approx 25min and only 1.5 eur); there is also bus stop but we didn’t use it. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast really good - good coffe, pastry, veggies, cheese, ham etc., just a little boring about warm food (sousages, bacon and scrumble eggs all the time). Bed was very comfy :)

Walls in that building are not so soundproof. We were unlucky cuz monday to friday on our floor stayed group of teenagers (school trip). They were noisy at night, running on the corridor, slamming the doors, screaming….. Teachers could’t control them. Advice to hotel: next time rent all floor for that kind of group cuz people on holiday want to rest (not wake up at 3 or 4 am cuz of unbearable kids.

Great location (2 min from the beach and next to bus stop), beach view from the balcony, Very clean property, Comfortable swimming pool, the restaurant is nice as well.

Air conditioning system is fixed at 27-28’ C and can’t be changed to 25-26’C that would be more comfortable for me personally. Everything else was perfect.

Room was excellent and felt modern. The staff spoke English and were very polite. There was a safe and hairdryer in the room. Beach towels could be hired for two euros. There was a supermarket that was open all hours a one minute walk away. The beach was less than a five minute walk. Excellent hotel for the price we paid.

As an English person, I love tea, so to have a kettle in the room would have been amazing.

there was free on street parking. My room was terrific and I greatly enjoyed my first stay in Alicante. The hotel was very close to the beach but also surrounded by shops, restaurants etc. I tried the pool, which was open at the end of December, but it was unheated. The bed was large and comfortable and I enjoyed the balcony, for sunlight without leaving the room

There was noise about 3 am and I'im not sure if it was from a local club or car parked nearby.

We liked the location near the beach, the good state of the room, clean and good condition of the furniture. Lovely shower. very Comfy beds. It was a quite time of the year. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment. Was it quiet in the hotel or good soundproofing?

there is no privacy in the swimming pool from surrounding streets. Anyone outside have visual access to the swimming pool area. We asked whether it was possible to vacate the room 1 hour after official checking out time- as our flight was late in the afternoon, and they said no. They offered instead to keep the luggage and use of the hotel facilities- including the swimming pool. Instead we had something to eat in the cafeteria, limited choice and food was unremarkable.

The room is a comfortable size, clean, comfortable, with a large balcony where you can sit and smoke and/or drink coffee. The cleanliness was maintained regularly, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is located 200 meters from the beach. There is a large grocery store and a large fruit and vegetable shop 10 meters away. There are several bars, restaurants and cafes and also a pharmacy. Bus stops 22 and 21 are 10 metres from the hotel, while tram stops 4 and 5 are 300 metres away. The beach is HUGE. Miles long to the north and ending in the south with a headland jutting out into the sea with wild beaches and dunes. Along the beach there is a bike path and many restaurants.

Staff were very helpful and the location was excellent. Room was cleaned daily to a very high standard and towels replaced every day

We missed coffee making facilities in the room and the soap dispenser was VERY hard to operate.

Really close to the beach, and plenty of high quality restaurants and bars. Also, just outside you have connection to a bus and tram stop. The balcony was nice and spacious, along with the whole room. There is room service for food and drinks ~ but we didn’t use it since the selection was limited and we have dietary requirements.

The interior isn’t the best, especially in the lobby and the downstairs area with the bar and restaurant. Breakfast was limited. There was basically only bread and toppings like ham and cheese. Some of the staff didn’t come off as the friendliest.. but still got the job done! 🤠

I've been to this hotel last April 2024 booking with yourselves that was the reason for my return this year to visit my Spanish friends and to celebrate my 73rd birthday with them however it did not exactly have the result I was expecting On arrival it was immediately noticeable the facilities of the hotel were closed Restaurant and Main Lounge Area and major renovation process in place which naturally gave clients no access which was disappointing due to my special reason to visit The controls of the A/C was broken but made a disturbing noise all night which made it impossible to sleep that was rectified after the first night after reporting it to reception Notices were placed around the hotel stating work of the renovation commenced from 7th January till 16 January 2025 we left on 18th January and was still ongoing if we had been advised of the situation before our travel we probably would have delayed our trip to another date so we were truly disappointed we paid full amount €261 which I think could have been discounted due to the reasons above as a good will gesture I understood it's not the employee at fault but management could have let clients know in advance of the situation I understand my booking was room only but I generally pay as I go along for further amenities Overall it did disapoint our visit we shall continue to book with Booking.com but hopefully you will respond to my review

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel with my father and appreciated both the hotel itself and the staff. We kept our expectations modest based on previous feedback regarding certain facilities. The location is superb, and overall, the hotel offers great value for the price. We wish the hotel Castilla continued prosperity and many satisfied guests❤️

We were disappointed with vegetarian pizza we ordered for room service, it resembled a pre-packaged item from the supermarket and didn't meet our hungry expectations for a tasty meal. We kindly suggest removing it from the menu.
