Staff was great - welcoming and attentive. Jacuzzi tub was large enough for two and water was as hot as you can handle. Room was clean and well stocked with towels and amenities. Bed was quiet and comfortable. Everything worked as expected. Morning coffee and tea had good variety. Nice accesible location on the highway close to everything.

Room shows minor signs of wear and tear. Just slightly run down like the rest of town not a big deal. AC or a fan would have been a plus. Probably not often used in this area but didn't feel safe to open the window without a screen.

Oh my goodness. The staff went so above and beyond. It was me and my husband’s anniversary and we wanted to see the redwoods. The location was perfect and walking distance to the beach and lots of other activities. But the best part was that online, I asked if they could write “Happy Anniversary!” just somewhere in the room and when we opened the door to the room we were greeted by a handwritten card signed by the staff congratulating us on our anniversary, two fresh roses on the bed, chocolates, and our towels were made into swans! This was the sweetest, kindest gesture and me and my husband will always remember this trip and the hospitality of BayView in. If we come back to the redwoods, we’ll definitely have to book another stay! And the jacuzzi in the room was 10/10. This was such a romantic trip. Thank you all so much!

I really appreciated the woman at the front desk when I checked in! She was very professional and clear about policies of the motel and went over the check-in form carefully with me. I really appreciated her clear, professional communication. I also really liked that they had black wash cloths for make-up removal. I hate staining white towels with make-up so very nice to not have to do this here.

The pillows were too hard, not able to mold for comfort. The comforter was stained on the underside when turned down. There is only one stairwell going up to the 2nd floor on the back side rooms so it took a bit of work to get my stuff to my room.

Such a charming little place, a little dated but if you can look past it, everything is still very very clean and everything is the room is nice and modern. Our 5 night stay in the Jacuzzi suite was amazing, while we didn't have a view of the bay, the view of the surrounding California wilderness is just a breathtaking sight. The room was huge! Very comfy beds and a couple of little chairs for eating take out at the table. The tub is by far the biggest and best jets we've had yet! We have a thing for these jacuzzi suites, and this is probably the 5th or 6th that we've had in the 7 years we've been together, and it wins! By far the best priced one, too, all the way from Vancouver to Crescent City! We'll be back California!!

Everything was perfect!

The rooms were VERY clean, the staff was amazing and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and generally I don't do well with hotel beds so I was quite surprised. Great location, walking distance to an aquarium and store, short drive to the beach and other attractions. The only 2 things that were a bummer, was the shower pressure was not good at all. Also not every room has an AC which we didn't know, bur they did provide a fan if you ask so that was good! Over all, I'd stay here again.

Loved the flooring it made it easy to keep room clean of sand! Jacuzzi was nice bed was comfortable. When the lovely gal at the front desk realized my husband was disabled she offered to help us get our things up to the room. She was a ray of sunshine loved her willingness to help. We did not take her up on carrying our stuff up but appreciated the offer we will stay again.

The third floor was a bit rough as we are older but it was manageable. Your employee made it so much better with the offer of help to get our stuff up to the room. We did not take her up on this but was appreciated so much.

The price was great, it was easy to access everything in Crescent City. Loved the coffee in the lobby. The room was clean and very spacious. Water pressure in the shower was excellent!

There are a lot of homeless people wandering Crescent City in general, including in the hotel parking lot and other businesses near it. They did not bother us personally, although we observed them panhandling from others or circling the entrances of restaurants waiting for customers to enter/exit.

The lovely lady at checkout was friendly and accommodating. Our room was great, at the back across the park for our little dog to do her business. The room was clean and comfortable. We were very satisfied and would stay there again. It was also very close to the water but arrived late at night so did not notice until morning.

The only negative was there were no outside garbage cans so we put our dog waste bag in can in room which I did not like doing.

We were on an alone trip headed to charter fish in Oregon. We stopped in Crescent City and stayed here. Very clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing. We broke down after our new truck lost all it's oil (in the parking lot) The manager was so helpful and kind. He wouldn't let us clean it up, nor would he take any $ for doing so. We will definitely be back

Terrific unbearable value. Room was ok, clean enough, easy to access motel style, our needs were met. Fridge worked, there was a big garbage can in the room. Hot hot shower, no tub. Free coffee and cocoa.

It’s nothing fancy, perfect for a stopover en route to somewhere else but not a place I’d stay for a vacation. There were some rough-looking folks hanging out in the parking lot at times.
